AMAZING! We had an incredible experience with Blue Window. They gave us exactly what we wanted and everything was just perfect! The day of the wedding they went above and beyond for us, giving us tips on ideas for shots, taking lots of amazing incognito shots, and helping in any other way they could.
These are 2 of the kindest people I have ever met and I was so happy to have them be a part of our special day.
I have worked with many photographers in my work life and none could even come close to this duo, they are just simply the best, no other way to put it. Thanks again for immortalizing such a wonderful day in my life in such an incredible way.

Blue Window Creative are a husband and wife team of photographers that I have been lucky enough to work with both as a bride and as an event planner on many weddings. They are the best. There is no other way to put it. If you want to feel at ease while having your picture taken and have gorgeous, photojournalistic style photos of your wedding these are the people to hire!

Mary & The Joel (June 2012 wedding) — amazing photographs, wonderful couple, funny, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, highly recommended!

We seemed to have the same amazing experience that the reviewer had. I’m giving the same review here that I wrote on Wedding Wire.
We love Mary and Joel!!! I stumbled (thank goodness!!) across their work on a wedding blog. When I first saw the pictures on the blog I was floored by their excellence. I think I tripled checked to make sure they were in our location-​which they were (they do MANY out of state weddings)! We were really looking for and organic and un-​posed feel to our wedding pictures. This is exactly what they embody– along with an amazing creative eye and a vintage feel. Even though we were having a more Urban feel to our wedding we had no worries that they would be able to incorporate their style.
We decided to and engagement session with them which they prefer to call a hangout session (less posed!). We were staying at Edgefield (a McMenamins hotel) for St. Patrick’s day (our anniv) and they came out and spent the majority of the day/​night hanging out with us– with «cameras in our faces» as they like to say. It was a little rainy that day so they decided that they wanted to come to our house to take more hangout shots when the weather was a bit nicer. Both session were included in their hangout session fee.
Once the wedding got closer I sent them a rough outline of how the day would go and what group shots (parent pleasers) that we would want. They showed up on time and Joel went with the boys and Mary was with us girls. They literally hung back in the shadows and snapped away. Joel was a huge help to my husband getting ready and keeping a good eye on time management. A lot of the groomsmen were late due to an accident on the freeway and Joel was there to «calm the nerves» as my husband put it.
Their prices are higher than most that I found but we felt that it was worth it. Every couple has to decide what is most important to them and this was it for us. Their turn around time is also a bit longer but again its worth it. We’d rather pay more and wait longer for good quality that we will have for a life time.

I was lucky to find Mary and Joel when their photography was featured in a wedding blog. I saw their pictures and instantly said, THATS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT. I was looking for natural, photojournalistic photography. I didn’t want to waste a day doing lame poses for a photographer.
On the day of, they showed up on time and required very little from us… I think Mary said «we work better when you ignore us»… that may be strange for people who are used to direction and instructions from photographers but you must trust their method because the results are beautiful. The fact that they are a team of two, equally talented photographers, makes them worth their weight in gold. I took Mary with me during my pre-​ceremony preparations, Joel stayed with the guys while they got ready, between the both of them they got great shots of everything and the double coverage during the ceremony made for some amazing shots.
I can’t stress how happy we are with the end result. My advice to anyone considering hiring them; DO IT NOW.

I can not say enough good things about Mary and Joel. Wonderful people, wonderful photographers, and just generally the kind of people you want around on your wedding day. Total photographic ninjas. They take a lot of pride in their work, and have a wonderful attitude. They are the BEST decision we made in our planning, hands down. LOVE them.
