If you told me I’d find a store like this (carrying everything from Lemlem to to Boy by Band of Outsiders to MM6 to Jean Yu) in the middle of Portland, Maine, I would never believe you. Probably the most well-​edited, avant-​garde collection of clothing north of NYC, and the owner is super nice as well. Space is airy but comfortable with unexpected touches like dyed sheep skin rugs scattered across the blonde hardwood floors. Love!

At the urging of my sister, I checked this place out on my last trip to Portland. Absolutely beautiful space. I read on a website that the building used to be an old book repository from the 1800s. There were soaring windows, gorgeous wood floors running the length of the shop and some great offerings both in modern apparel and house wares. Vanessa Bruno and Lutz and Patmos to name a few. It was really a treat to browse in there. If I had not already splurged on about ten other things that day, I would’ve definitely also splurged in there. Sigh. Well, at least I know it’s there for next time.
