Chris Callahan helped my husband and I chose a twin bed (tempurpedic) to fit in a hospital bed frame for our family member who has dementia. He was clearly informed, has years in the business, no pressure sales, decent price, delivery went off without a hitch. The mattress is VERY comfortable and given the circumstances we feel at ease knowing this. I would highly recommend Chris Callahan and this business.

Chris was spectacular. He asked what I was looking for, he didn’t try pushing the deluxe bed, and when I told him my budget was tight he suggested beds that were way under my top limit — rather than attempt to push my limit. Honest, reasonable, knowledgable, and worked hard to meet my needs. I actually felt good dropping some cash on a bed that was better than what I originally intended to purchase.

I got a pretty sweet mattress during their year end sale.
However, they don’t seem to have the best training program. The poor person was on their own, they were new, and called their boss to help them. The boss seemed rather useless. It made the purchasing process rather difficult.
However, I’m happy with my mattress/​low profile box spring set. We also bought their mattress protector, which is required for warranty or return issues. They hauled my crappy old mattress and box springs for $ 10/​item.

Short version: Go to Mattress World. Amazing service, great value, all-​around easy and even fun experience. DO NOT go to Bed Mart. RUDE service. RUDE!
Long version: After years of waking up with an aching back and a husband sleeping on the couch (because the couch was way more comfy than our old mattress, don’t worry, our relationship is just fine) we decided to spend Labor Day weekend mattress shopping. Whee! After researching the sales online, we narrowed our options down to Bed Mart and Mattress World. We went to Mattress World first. Aside from the BBQ going on outside making my vegan heart weep a little, everything was great. Race presented us with multiple options without making us feel pressured in the slightest. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Still, we wanted to feel like we’d done our due diligence, so we headed off to Bed Mart. Race went so far as to write down the name of the brand and style, as well as the price, of the mattress we were interested in, and mentioned even if we didn’t by a mattress from him he was just glad we were supporting NW companies.
Armed with this info, we strode confidently into Bed Mart… and were immediately shot down. «I don’t have that brand here,» said the salesman snidely. «Here, try this mattress. Don’t just put your knee on it, you have to lay down.» He didn’t say «Duh,» but his tone did. He then proceeded to try and upsell us to a TempurPedic. (Way out of our price range, dude.) He actually seemed relieved when we said we were going back to Mattress World. Terrible service. I shouldn’t be made to feel dumb for not knowing more about mattress styles, guy, you’re the mattress salesman, not me.
So we went back to Mattress World, got great service and a screaming deal. Sean even gave us travel tips for our upcoming trip to Mexico as he was loading our mattress in my truck. I would recommend Mattress World to anyone. Bed Mart on Broadway, however, can ride one of their mattresses straight to hell.

Brian Cole is FANTASTIC. Really easy to work with, figured out what I needed at a great price and had it at my house the next day. I have been sleeping great ever since… if you see this Brian thank you soooo much!

I first went into this Bedmart in January, after a mattress purchase from a major department store wasn’t working out. Kevin was really knowledgeable, honest and helpful; he showed me a few mattresses that would meet my needs but said that, if the dept. store offered me a good deal with an exchange, I should go with them. A few weeks later, when the dept. store totally hosed me, I came back and Kevin worked with me to find a mattress that I’d really be happy with. He made it clear that that’s what he cared about: connecting people to a mattress they’d really be happy with. He also got me a HUGE deal on a quality mattress that was discounted because of the color of the cover. I felt, throughout the whole shopping process, that Kevin had my best interest at heart and was looking out for me. It’s been two weeks and I am sleeping more soundly on this mattress than I ever have in my life! It is wonderful. I am so thankful to Kevin and Bedmart!

Great service; nice people. They helped help a young woman who had no resources to buy a bed. Came back and got the same level if service and pricing. If you need a bed, this a great place to start.

I was looking for an inexpensive mattress to donate to REACH for the holiday Adopt a Family program (they needed a kids bed). When I mentioned what it was for, the salesguy Kevin gave me a deep discount to just over cost, and was extremely helpful and genuine and said their owner is very supportive of community causes like this. It was just a great experience.

We moved to Portland for people like Kevin. He’s overeducated and way too smart to sell mattresses. And that’s great for all of us who need good bedding.
We went to BedMart to research Tempur-​pedic mattresses. Kevin broke down our assumptions so kindly we didn’t know he was engineering a process that would ultimately put us in the perfect bed. We tested our way through his carefully selected options. Remarkably, each bed was closer to the comfort compromise my partner and I thought we would have to make. Until, we found a couple options that not only met both of our criteria, but held the possibility that each of us would get nights of great sleep — no compromise necessary. I didn’t think a bed existed that could meet all of our disparate needs. With Kevin’s careful guidance, I think we found it.

This place was great to shop from. Kevin was knowledgeable, informative and not pushy. The prices here were very competitive too. We love our new mattress and have nothing to complain about.

Just moved up from LA & stopped in here casually. Met Kevin who turned out to be the coolest and greatest help I could ask for. He helped me out and gave me a super fantastic deal. Customer for life now, everything was so good I had to slap my momma.

Kevin went out of his way and made every attempt to get us the best possible price on a mattress, even sacrificing his own commission to do so. He was not sales-​pitchy or pushy, just a straight-​forward, informative and personable guy. He stayed late and spend tons of time with us, and even tho he knew he wasn’t going to make any commission on our purchase, he still made sure we didn’t rush our decision. I genuinely believe he worked as hard as he could for us, gave us as much information as he possibly could and made us feel confident in our decision. I would definitely recommend Kevin and the Broadway BedMart.

My friend and I recently went to visit Bed Mart. Kevin was aweeeeesome. Kevin helped us find a comfy bed we felt as though we stepped into a 5 star hotel. He was super friendly and had great customer service skills. If anyone needs a bed please ask for Kevin and go to Bed Mart satisfaction guaranteed!

We recently bought our Tempur-​pedic mattress from here. The service was good and straightforward. We didn’t get as much B-​S as we did from other mattress stores, but then again Tempur-​pedic mattresses are the same prices no matter the retailer.
What pushes them to 5 stars for «Excellent» rather than 4 for «Good», is we received a mattress with what seems like pink/​orange ink-​stains on the cover. We only noticed this after the delivery guys left. The mattress was sealed in plastic, so it was most likely the factory’s fault. We called the store, and they sent guys to replace the mattress with another new one a few hours later. They didn’t have to do that (since we signed off that the mattress was all good before noticing the ink-​stains), so it was pretty cool of them.

We just had a very positive experience buying a new mattress this afternoon. We came in with a price range and Mustafa was extremely helpful showing us models that fell within our range. We were able to tryout a bunch and learn about the different kinds (pros & cons). I will definitely come back when we are in the market for another.
