It is a chain but is solid compared to other fast food Mexican. Beware of the salsa bar. This location does a pretty good job with cleanliness of the salsa bar compared to other locations.

Decent food, I wouldn’t recommend a shrimp quesadilla though. I don’t know what it is, but the combo isn’t very good. All the other things on the menu are pretty good and reasonably priced. Pretty high in sodium so watch out if you already have high blood pressure problems. Staff is very friendly and service time is acceptable.

This is by far my favorite Baja Fresh location, I’ve been going there since they opened and have never been disappointed. My favorite is the burrito Mexicano with chicken, black beans and hot salsa. It’s awesome how the busier they are the faster the service. Other locations I’ve been I had to wait much longer and ended up with burnt meat and such, so even though I moved farther away from this location I keep coming back! Great staff as well!

Friendly staff, and the food lived up to the name «fresh!» Free chips were a nice touch. Classy and clean for a quick little Mexican food place. Gluten/​dairy free was easy here, but there definitely wasn’t a shortage of cheese and sour cream items available!
And, aside, I have to mention, they have the cleanest and best-​smelling bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a restaurant… And clean without smelling like a heavy air freshener! :)

I think their food is a great splurge. When I want a quick meal and can’t decide on what to get Baja Fresh is always towards the top of my list.
Their salsa’s are delicious and I really appreciate the offer of a few chips to eat while we wait for our meal. It’s a nice, consistent gesture.
My biggest draw is the coupons that come in the mail. The discount definitely makes the budget conscious minded me drive the extra distance to get their burritos.
Suggest trying the off menu item «Burrito Dos Manos.» It’s huge. Easy to split between two hungry guys because it’s the size of two burritos.

Such a great burrito! It was a little heavy on the rice and a little light on the carnitas, but everything was very fresh and not soggy or greasy whatsoever. The extra guac was both plentiful and delicious — not over-​seasoned packaged stuff like a lot of chains give you. The salsa bar has a lot of great tastes, particularly their seasonal mango salsa. The enormous lobby was spotless and inviting, and if it’s this good next time, we might have to bump it up to 5 stars.

The young lady taking the order was extremely rude. She repeated our order back to us incorrectly (it was only 4 tacos), and then proceeded to basically yell at us because we corrected it. When our order was ready she yelled «HERE YOU GO!!» without actually looking in our direction.
Food tasted fine. Infact, the tacos were pretty tasty.
Service was terrible. I will not go here again, and will advise everyone I know not to spend their money at this location.

Fat burritos. Good green salsa. Tastes like every other Baja Fresh. Wanna be full ’til tomorrow? Finish the bean and cheese burrito in one sitting.
ROOM:
Clean white tile everywhere. The usual.
STAFF: Quick turn around on the food even at lunchtime. Order up!
Hint:
You’re too good for Taco Bell and you refuse to give money to McDonald’s Chipotle. Her ya go

They have a happy hour from 4 – 7 on Monday through Friday which makes this place a lot more affordable. The burritos are sizable, relatively healthy, and have fresh ingredients. Service is prompt and the place is clean. Not the hippest place in Portland, but I am not a hipster and this place definitely gets the job done.

Yummy, this place actually makes food fresh. Try the tacos, the salads and the burritos. Yum! Also remember the salsa bar has good stuff going on. The prices are reasonable. Taco’s are under 2 bucks and worth every penny. They use real meat WOW what a concept! BEWARE when they ask if you want «hot sauce» on your food be afraid, they do not kid around. I like it hot, and their HOT scared me

Ohhhhh. It’s okay. Just moved to the SW and trying to find some fast easy cheap food. This is my sole spot so far.
Burritos are not too expensive, especially with the weekday happy hour $ 4.99 special. Burritos are So. Much. Better. eaten on-​site while the grilled goodness is good, not soggy. Burritos are adequate later on.
Tried to use the internet in here today, and it wasn’t working, though supposedly it usually works.
The staff is really friendly and good, the bathrooms are clean, and it’s an easy place for a burrito. I will likely be here a couple times a week for a while.

The cool air conditioning was welcome on a hot Portland day! I Love their Burrito Ultimo with Pork. LOVE it! The staff was wonderful too. I left my phone on the table and the employee came running after me into the parking lot to bring it back!!! So nice.

I go as far as 3⁄12. Love the salsa bar and load up on the fixins. Bottomless chips too. Generally leave this place stuffed but not feeling bad about it.

Ok, last Baja Fresh. So this one isn’t as bad as the other one. Here, they are a little friendlier, but they still screw up the order every time. & they can be pretty absent minded. Order extra guacamole? Make sure you get what you’re paying for. On more than one occasion, I have checked the bag to either find it missing all together, or instead of the size I order, one of those tiny cups. I hate to think it’s intentional sneakiness, but is chalking it up to neglecting your customer’s order any better really?
