Artemis Foods catered my corporate event for two days at the Portland Center Stage. The service leading up and during the event were terrific. The food and presentation were fantastic. I received several compliments from the guests. Heidi, Artemis Event Planner, worked around my crazy schedule the day before the event and met me very early morning to have a run-​through of the event and set-​up. I highly recommend Artemis Foods and would book their services again!

Artemis catered our wedding at Ecotrust and they were great! The food was innovative and very high-​quality. They suggested cost-​effective options and were not all about maximizing the bill. They accommodated our very specific instructions about salmon-​preparation, and the salmon was to-​die-​for. They were also flexible about some last-​minute changes we made.
The only quibble we had was, they waited until about a week before the wedding to get in contact with us to confirm rentals, menu, etc. This made for a somewhat more stressful wedding week. We would’ve liked more lead time to work on those details.
But overall, if you’re looking for true professionals and amazing food, Artemis is highly recommended!

Artemis was the caterer for a recent business event at the Portland Art Museum. They were highly responsive to my initial price and menu inquiries, and efficient in putting together a cocktail reception menu and floor plan. Most impressively, they did all if this from a distance (our organization is based in New York), and on somewhat short notice.
Don, who I worked with, gave great advice on the number of hors d’oeuvres to order, and smart suggestions for the room arrangement. He was also happy to include a vegan and gluten-​free option on our menu.
I plan all my organization’s business events, and often receive phone calls from colleagues on site to fix last-​minute issues, or report problems. I got no such call this time — everything went smoothly. I also heard that the food was great!

Artemis catered our wedding and killed it. Absolutely killed it. We asked for vegan, gluten free fare and they concocted a creative, delicious amalgamation of dishes for our guests. Nobody missed these ingredients for a second. And the display was beautiful. Local, organic fare. I highly recommend!

What an Amazing GROUP of professional caterers. We had Artemis, with Heidi at the helm cater a lovely wedding meal. Their team saved the day when one problem after another was encountered with the site. The Artemis team, solved problems, acted quickly and professionally, and delivered amazing food, amazing presentations, with a charming staff. Our bride and groom never knew the site was not clearn, and the site staff was not ready and not helpful… Artemis stepped in and did it all. Will definitely use them for any and all future events… thanks again for a wonderful evening.

Artemis foods did a wonderful job of catering our wedding. Even with a last minute staffing change, everything went great, on time, and the food was delicious. Everyone was great to work with, they understood our vision for delicious non-​fussy food and executed the vision perfectly. We were able to work with them to personalize our menu by bringing in a whole roasted Chinese pig from an outside authentic source. Thank you for helping make our wedding fun, amazing and delicious!

My friends wedding that I went to was catered by Artemis foods. And it was amazing ! Everybody loved the food the apps were incredibly unique and full of flavors that complimented each other perfectly. And the main course and desserts were to die for. If I ever get married, having them cater it is deff part of my dream wedding !!

Artemis catered our wedding. For months after our wedding, friends and family members were telling us how amazing the food was. Not only was the food top notch, but the service they provided was amazing. They made everything super easy for us. Our planning contact was very responsive and took great notes that made everything simple. The day of staff was also great and super professional.

Artemis Foods catered a full sit down meal at my daughter’s wedding party at my home and I cannot overstate what a very fine service they delivered. The food was superb. A large proportion of the guests commented on its gourmet quality, many saying they had never had such delicious food at a wedding, and others saying it had been a long time since they had had such good food at all. The staff managed to be totally unobtrusive while at the same time attending to every detail, serving hors d’oeuvres, making coffee and tea, providing the courses with perfect timing. They set up the tables beautifully, accommodated our need for changes, made excellent suggestions, cleaned as they worked so when they left, the house was tidy and guests continued to party, oblivious to any change in table arrangement etc. Food preparation was done outside the kitchen leaving that as additional space to mingle, get drinks etc. I cannot recommend them too highly on quality of food as well as service. I have never hired Artemis, but I’ve had their foods on about a half dozen occasions. They specialize in local, sustainable, seasonal and often organic. They are connected into the architecture and green business community. They are quite creative in their finger foods, the presentation is great and the flavors have been nothing but superb. I encounter them most often at the University of Oregon Portland
events if you want to meet them, see and taste their work.

We just worked with Artemis to host an event at Ecotrust. We loved working with Stephanie — always professional and responsive, helped to plan a great dessert menu for our event. Especially working from six hours away from Portland, we put our trust in their hands, and they did not disappoint. Would definitely consider working with them again.

we got married last october and artemis catered for our event at lan su gardens. from the beginning stephanie was friendly and helpful and easy to work with. we were not very specific (didnt have the deatils all worked out in our minds) and she really pointed us in the right direction. we had a fairly modest budget and she was able to keep it very close while still offering great food and drink. we were going for a cocktail party vibe and i think it turned out to be just that. many people complemented our choices of local cheeses and beers. i would recommend them for any occasion.

They catered a sustainability meeting over the weekend, and everyone raved about the food.

Artemis Foods did a superb job of catering my sister’s wedding last summer! The buffet was a feast for the eyes – and the belly. There were great chicken and fish dishes, along with faux crab cakes that were actually vegan.
Artemis Foods provided a variety of sodas, and the appetizers (cheeses, fresh fruits) highlighted the bounty of Oregon.
I wish the folks at Artemis Foods were my own private cooks.

Artemis Foods catered my wedding and it turned out great. Sit down full course dinner with grass fed local steak from Misty Isle with live entertainment and open bar with quality drinks. The food was incredible and the service was great. Provided by a catering business that is sustainably run to a degree unmatched by most and exceeded by none that I have seen. 45 people at the Manor House at the Leach Botanical Gardens — a great choice in SE Portland recommended by Artemis. If the quality and source of the food and service really matter — Artemis is a great choice and extremely knowledgeable and competent.

We considered Artemis for our wedding. The communication was quite good and fast. We went in for a tasting to discover that our point of contact had only worked there about 12 weeks. When we really got into the thick of the planning, the costs skyrocketed with all the extra charges (for example, 2.50 for punch plus glass rental and gratuity, meaning about 3.60 per person for a punch bowl pre-​service). When we tried to suggest some local wines (their wine list has only 5 selections, all organic) things got out of control, with our handler gently suggesting we were being cheap because I don’t like biodynamic wines. The owner also suggested that we needed a wedding planner for our 50 person family-​only wedding. Basically, our inexperienced handler made the process too stressful with his incessant phone calls, and even though the food was great, it just wasn’t worth the hassle.
