Awesome project. If you like coffee or art you should come here for sure! Good prices, good coffee and who doesn’t love to support art? I absolutely love the galleries. I have met some of the awesome people behind this and I was really excited to hear some of their future gallery projects!

They have excellent coffee and cheap prices. I wish more people knew about this place because it is really unique and they have a very cool mission. There are artists studios and artists residences in this building. The artists hang their work in the coffee shop space and you can browse while they make your coffee. My only concern is that they don’t have the drink I buy every time programmed in to their computer. I’ve been charged anywhere from 2.75 to 6.00 for the same drink depending on who is working. It’s weird.

I don’t like being around large crowds and this coffee shop is probably one of the least busy in Portland. There is plenty of space to do work in. The coffee was excellent and the service was friendly enough. They have a lot of games and books. They do not have a lot of food. They have just a few treats and snacks. I’m trying not go broke or get fat so that will suffice. A good coffee house for working which is what I wanted. I’ll definitely go back.

Art Haus is a place for whatever a coffee shop means to you: cup of coffee, meet a friend, work on your screenplay, daydream? Take a seat on a sofa or at a table and you’re surrounded by current artwork. It’s a great space for introspection or a chat with a friend.

A friend invited me to the Art open studios last night. I didn’t get to try coffee at the coffee house but what a cool place! People opened up their studios/​work spaces. There was wine/food/drinks…and music and an aerialist… it was pretty cool. I hope that they do this every year!

Great vibe and lovely people! We tried the french press coffee and were charmed by the atmosphere. This is an artist cooperative and run by volunteers. While you are there you can relax in the café/​creative space, read up on local art events and check out the Milepost 5 art galleries that feature work from the artists in residence and coop members. There is also an auditorium that hosts films, music and theater performances, lectures and classes.
