Anna Philips Nail Bar

In town for just a few days but needed a good gel mani and pedi for an event this weekend. This salon is beautiful, had a great atmosphere and the two women were super nice. They have a nice variety of gel colors and I’m very pleased with the results. Best part may be the Saran Wrap/​oil trick they did on my toes so I could put my boots back on and not wreck the polish. Would definitely come here again if in town!

Came for during a bachorette weekend for my cousin. We made an appointment with another salon not knowing they couldn’t accommodate the three of us at the same time. So we headed to another salon which was also booked up for the afternoon. One of the women there recommended Ana Philips Nail Bar and it was the best recommendation ever! They were able to do all of our manis & pedis right away. Super comfy arm chairs during the pedis. They also gave us complimentary wine! Can’t beat that! The women were all amazing — so much fun & entertaining. The price is completely worth the experience and it’s one of the best salons I’ve ever been to.

I really, REALLY, wanted to give this place five+ starts, but I just can’t. Believe me, it’s just as disappointing to me as it was after we left. Let me start by saying that the salon is STUNNING. The calming, gray walls, beautiful chandelier and stellar customer service. The women are extremely welcoming and THOSE BIG, WHITE CHAIRS ARE AMAZING.
I know Portland is on the up and up, but we’re not NYC juuuuuuuust yet. I was generously treated by my friend to a combo mani/​pedi for my birthday. I believe it was $ 75 or $ 80 for each of us which brings us to a total of 150+ 40 in tips —-yikes. I love my feet, but c’mooooon. My manicure bubbled while drying and my pedicure was sub-​par. You could see my nail through my polish within the first week. Not to say I won’t try it again, but I really, reaaaalllyyy hope they make it worth it next time. For that amount of money, I’d expect either/​or to last more than 5 days.
I do have faith and really hope they work out!

I have very mixed feelings about this place… I brought my bridal party in a few weeks ago for pedicures and manicures. The environment and décor was amazing. All the girls were friendly, and easy to communicate with, we loved every single one of them. They offered complimentary wine/​champagne. It was truly fabulous. The only issue was with the quality of the nails. I had a girl doing mine, and she did a BEAUTIFUL job. My nails still look perfect three weeks after my wedding!!! She really knew her stuff. But my two bridesmaids and my mother, done by other people, their nails came out pretty bad. My first bridesmaid that finished, texted me right after she left «my shellac manicure is cracking all over!!! It looks terrible but I don’t have time to come back and fix before rehearsal!» My mothers nails were all peeling off and 3 were broken the next day at the wedding. My other bridesmaids nails were cracking and chipping two days later. Although I had a good experience and I love my nails, I felt really bad because they were all very unhappy… And this place isn’t cheap. I think that I would go back if I was certain I could see the girl that did my nails. Or I would give it another try maybe after the other girls get a little bit more experience. I am not sure what happened and like I said, I wanted to love this place.

GO HERE. They are absolutely wonderful! The salon is gorgeous, new, sanitary – everything you would want. The manicurists are lovely and stylish, and conversation was interesting and fun. And they offer you free wine, champagne, or mimosa with your manicure (or whatever else).
I showed up 45 minutes before they closed with no appointment and a suitcase in tow. They were welcoming and accommodating wayyyyy beyond the necessary – my ride didn’t show up until almost an hour after they closed, and they happily let me sit, read their magazines, and drink champagne until my friends showed up to get me. And, obviously, my nails are perfect.

Excellent nail services! I would say it’s on par to the mani and pedi I received at Studio One. I don’t think it’s holding up quiiiite as well but there’s a bunch of factors that are part of that. And I can say that the experience and atmosphere here is definitely the highlight. It’s so clean and comfortable. Their chairs are big comfy white couches. You’re offered champagne to start. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Everything is thoughtfully put together. It’s quite and relaxing. They had a good selection of polish choices but I’d love to see a salon that has some of the other lines that I really love, like Deborah Lippmann and Butter. These polishes are more of an expense but I think they’re really worth it for the clientele that will probably be coming in to a nail bar like this.

I made an appointment after a long work week to go and have my tired toes pampered, a luxury for me! I got the most beautiful pedicure from Megan! I really enjoyed this group of spirited and spunky woman and am glad they are in my hood! I had a nice and relaxing experience and I will definitely go back
