So I had a problem with in grown toe nails on each of my big toe. Dr. Jerry Yoon performed a partial surgery for each toe, trimming down the sides on each toe nail. The right toe nail grew back fine. Unfortunately, the left toe nail grew back deformed. Even after almost two years, the left toe nail continuously grows back deformed. Finally saw two different podiatrists and both said that the nail will be permanently deformed because there was a mishandling of chemicals that leaked into the toenail during the surgery. One podiatrist said he could remove the whole toenail and see if it grows back normal but the chances are very slim. Devastating. Not sure what my next steps are but I would advise you not to come here.

Be aware of the poor quality of care and the worst predatory billing practices of this doctor!
My fiancé went to this doctor to deal with plantar fasciitis.
Dr. Yoon seemed to be in a rush most of the time and he was quite rough while handling the patient. (we figured that was just his style)
The first thing my fiancé said to him was that he had tried everything and gotten no relief so he was ready for surgery but before anything else he wanted to make sure this surgery would be covered by his insurance.
Because he did not want to be stuck with out of network charges as it happened with his shoulder surgery.
He said no problem, the girls in the office were going to verify that everything was covered and he is an IN NETWORK provider.
They said everything looked good and asked him to show up for a pre-​op on Wednesday and booked the surgery for Friday.
As he was giving us the final instructions, he mentioned that he owned stock in the surgery center and he needed to let us know.
We showed up at the surgery center earlier since the doctor changed the time of the surgery at the last minute. It was 6:00 am and we were handed forms to fill out when the receptionist mentioned that Mt. Scott Surgery Center is considered OUT of NETWORK. WHAT??? Shouldn’t someone mentioned that before!
But the receptionist reassured us that even being OUT OF NETWORK they extend the IN-​NETWORK pricing and gave us paperwork that stated this.
Obviously the insurance declined payment for the surgery and we have been put through the ringer with paperwork; additional information forms, appeals, explanations and now told that we are being sent to COLLECTIONS!!!
Here we are June 2015, nine months later and we have been screwed by Dr. Yoon’s Mt. Scott Surgery Center with the full anesthesiologist bill.
Additionally Dr. Jerry Yoon is arrogant and thinks he knows it all and refused to listen to my fiancé when he would tell him that he continue to experience pain. The doctor would say, it wasn’t possible, ignored him and sent him back to work too soon and my fiancé ended up with TWO hairline fractures on his foot. He had to be out of work much longer and this time without pay. WHY? Because the doctor was too arrogant to listen to his patient.
Be aware of this doctor!
By the way! we am filing a complaint with the medical board about this!

I had resigned myself to being mobility impaired for the rest of my life, and then I saw Dr Yoon. Now I can walk normally and have been hiking in the Cascades recently. Thanks Dr Yoon!

Dr. Yoon fixed up my wife’s foot a few years ago. She had problems with a toe for years, and several doctors failed to do much about it. Dr. Yoon did some minor in-​office surgery to remove a piece of bone, and she has had no trouble since! Wonderful doctor and staff, and most importantly they know what they’re doing. If you are having ankle/​foot problems please stop by the Ankle & Foot Clinic, I bet they can really help you. We couldn’t be happier to have found Dr. Yoon. Thanks from both of us!

Dr. Jerry Yoon has got to be the most pleasant professional I’ve ever dealt with.
I can’t get over how nice & personable he was!
He was easy to talk to and got straight to the point without making the appointment feel rushed.
(-Though, my specific foot-​related issue was a relatively quick and easy fix).
The front office staff went above and beyond to help me comprehend my insurance plan.
I asked for an estimated cost out of pocket for each office visit, expecting maybe a vague response and a print-​out in return.
But no, that’s not what happened at all!
She did show me a print-​out, but then actually did some math and broke everything down so I was able to understand what would be billed to me.
I have nothing but good things to say about the Ankle & Foot Clinic.
As far as foot-​related issues go, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Yoon.
