I was trying to make a return for a purchase I made online and at first a very well mannered young man was helping me. He was really sweet and helpful helping me try to find my email confirmation for the jacket I was trying to return. I went to the Apple Store and went online to try to find my email confirmation that somehow got lost in my email (I had seen it on there earlier that day)
So I come back to American apparel and ask them to look my purchase up by my email or by the card I used (I have done this at many stores before and had no problem) all of the associates were very very kind but the manager NOT SO MUCH. This girl had more than an attitude. No «how can I help you» when she walked up to me to help the girl trying to return the jacket she just stared at me with a straight face and with an attitude basically told me she can’t help me and she has nothing to do with the online store. I’ve worked in the retail business for years and I can tell you right now they do communicate with the online store. I hope someone else encounters this woman’s behavior because she is in no place nor has the maturity to be a manager

I’m a frequent shopper of AA and this location excels I’m customer service compared to the rest. The staff is very friendly and informative if needed. The displays always give me great outfit ideas along with the employees. I continue to shop at this location because of the great staff! Love the clothes but the people make the experience :)

I have to say, this is one of my favorite AA’s. It’s bright and colorful. The ever-​present styling is apparent everywhere you look. The staff was very welcoming. :)

I’m relieved, I had recently visited the American apparel store on Hawthorne the week before and had horrible service. I visited this location on Sunday and was welcomed. I was with my mom this time, so I hope I wasn’t discriminated against at the Hawthorne location because I had popped in during a bicycle ride and probably looked ratty. I’m hoping the overall American apparel still has the same quality clothing AND good customer service. The Hawthorne American apparel is WAY closer to me but I may have to avoid it and make the occasional trip to the Tigard location. I love American apparel. I found just what I was looking for and more.
