When I started seeing Eryca she identified emotional stress in my aching muscles that were not related to injury or skeletal issues. No one had mentioned this before and she moved all of negative energy out of these specific areas and gave HUGE relief. She brings new meaning to self-​love therapy and I visit her monthly to maintain a healthy balance and connection with mind, body and soul. I appreciate the time she takes to ask what is going on in my life, talk me through the stress triggers to identify the root of the pain. She’s massage therapist + therapist and now friend! I highly recommend!

Eryca was recommended to me by a fellow practitioner and as someone who has been getting massages for twenty years (ex-​gymnast!) I feel I have the experiential evidence to say she is the BEST. Really. The Best. From the moment she put her hands on me I knew she had a confident touch that was both relaxing and therapeutic. She was the first masseuse to place foam pillows around and under parts of my body for optimal comfort; her bed is heated, her room is perfectly dim and her oils smell divine. She clearly has an intellectual grasp on the human body, and has the perfect pressured touch to release tension, tightness and can refer you stretches to prevent further discomfort. Like Mick Jagger on stage, when you experience someone doing exactly what they were put on earth to do you realize you are experiencing greatness in a pure form, and if the form happens to be your own body, all the better.

I first met Eryca at Amaranth when I was receiving treatment at the Shepherd Clinic Chiropractic facility (NW 23^rd and Flanders). Before my adjustment, I was prescribed a 30 minute massage — in walks Eryca and I was blown away just how relaxed and amazing I felt after only 30 minutes! After that, I knew I needed to schedule a full session with her to see what she could do!
Not long later I was on her table, giddy with anticipation to receive a 90 minute massage from her. She started the treatment out using what she called «singing bowls» — I’m not even going to explain it to you, I’m just going to say keep an open mind and try it! It totally set the tone for what turned out to be one of the most amazing massages ever! I love a very firm, deep tissue massage with lots of pressure and I never felt I had to ask Eryca to back off or go deeper — she kept it just right the entire time! It was such a good mix of relaxing quiet mediation with some great chatting near the end as well — Eryca is one of the easiest people to talk to yet is very good at reading your mood so she knows when to chat and when to just let you enjoy the massage! After I left, I felt relaxed and loose and happy — exactly how one should feel after a massage! Not to mention she is just the nicest person and always goes the extra mile — we had to move around my appointment time (which was no problem for me at all) — and she still greeted me with a little piece of Moonstruck chocolate as a gift when I arrived as a thank you for being flexible — if that’s not going the extra mile (or ten miles!) I don’t know what is!
I would definitely recommend Eryca to anyone looking for a massage, whether it be to help relieve chronic pain or just relax. You won’t regret it!

I’m a self-​proclaimed massage whore. My addiction started about 10 years ago and has only gotten worse with age. I now get 2 hour massages and try to get on the table at least once every couple of weeks — finances allowing. Eryca (Amaranth practitioner) is ONE OF THE BEST. Why? Let’s start with first impressions: she has a wide open awesome smile that just brings you in. For me, the trust was immediately given based on that smile alone. Before your session, Eryca will ask questions about how my body feels and she’s really listening. It’s not just blah blah blah she’s actively paying attention and you can really tell once you get on the table. I always get deep tissue so I can’t speak for her other methods but in her deep tissue massages — A+ BRAVA!!! Pressure — perfect. Knowing when to use longer deeper motions versus shorter more focused work — perfect.
I leave a massage session with her feeling more relaxed, looser, worked out, and HAPPY. Do yourself a favor and give this gift to yourself. She is a wonderful practitioner and you will definitely get your money’s worth.
