Altamira Wood Floors

Altamira was recommended to us by a friend. We had several quotes from various contractors and decided to go with Altamira as they were the most accommodative and listed to our needs. We had Altamira install floors on the entire level when we were remodeling our kitchen. There were two «tricks» — firstly we already had some wood floors in place and did not want to remove and reinstall but rather we wanted to match new floors to old floors. Secondly we had a general contractor and Altamira had to fit everything in his schedule. Well, I cannot say good enough words about the quality of work ti was done. Simply amazing!!! If you ever had to deal with matching and uneven walls you would know what I mean. Everything — and I really mean «everything» — was done perfectly. Our general contractor was impressed as well. He had his own floor guy and had to go with Altamira because we requested. He was thrilled how accommodating Scott was. If I had to do it all lever again I would choose Altamira without a doubt.
I am saddened to read Ned’s review (I just noticed he is from CA — really? Why is he reviewing an OR company? What am I missing?). I tried to find the case online (as it is public info) but failed miserably. Do you mind giving the case number please (anyone who has it)?
Just to note I believe I paid 50% upfront and 50% on completion. It seems Ned might have been confused to what actually the contract said? Just a guess.
