Allstate Insurance: Steven Stiles

Steve has been handling our home and auto insurance for almost 3 years now, and I have been very pleased in all respects. He is easily accessible by phone and email, responds quickly, and is upbeat and friendly.
Allstate’s pricing for car insurance has also been quite a bit cheaper than other companies I’ve looked at.
Steve Stiles is great, and I definitely recommend him for all your insurance needs.

I got a good quote for my car insurance with Allstate online and found their representatives to be very helpful. But as it goes with car insurance, one of their competitors beat them out on price, and I ended up going with them. I called Mr. Stiles to cancel my insurance on the same date that it was supposed to begin. I apologized but then he took a rather rude tone with me and said that I, «sounded old enough to know a cheap deal when you hear one,» whatever that’s supposed to mean. I sent him a formal written notice of cancellation and figured I’d be done with it. I continued to receive quite a lot of paperwork and emails from Allstate, assuming that it’s just catching up with the cancellation — until I looked at my credit card statement. Sure enough, the insurance had yet to be reimbursed. I called up the main Allstate number only to discover that the policy was never cancelled. Hopefully this will all get resolved in short order.
