Passover cometh thus it is time for my annual trek to the Albertson’s on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. This one Albertson’s is what I always referred to until now Jew Central. Aisles of Passover stuff you can’t find anywhere in the area and usually pretty good prices. So, with the Official Mother of this Elite staying with The Wife and I while she finds a new house in area I proudly went on my annual pilgrimage. We walked in the entrance headed for the bakery area and there was nothing there, not even so much as a sheet of matzo or a jar of gefilte fish. Well, they used to keep everything in an alcove so I went there. Nothing. Finally back by meat we saw about three end caps of products and wish over stuff in a few other marked areas around the store. Problem is there wasn’t anywhere near the selection they usually have here. Baffled I went up to Customer Service and asked. They apologized, said we were far from the first to ask about it, they were very sincere about it which was nice. It’s a great old store, and they still had other items we needed for Passover but I cannot help but feel let down a little. Hopefully they correct it for next year.
