Abby’s Collision Center

Had a little run-​in with a parking garage wall and basically destroyed a side door on my Jeep Cherokee. I saw some great reviews of Abby’s here and decided to go meet them for an estimate. They were extremely helpful from the get-​go! George set me up with their last available loaner car (for free too!) and was able to get my car in right away. They worked with my insurance company and made that whole process quick and painless. My car looks as good as new. I hope I never have to take my car in for body damage again, but if I do, I’ll definitely be back at Abby’s.

I was in my first (and hopefully last) car accident and not knowing where to go, I took AAA’s recommendation. While I was definitely unnerved by the experience, Abby’s was awesome from start to finish.
My car was considered by insurance to be ‘totaled’ so I was pleasantly surprised that I could have it repaired, and that there was no structural damage. Not only did they do a great job, but they gave me a nice loaner car for the two weeks it took. They exceeded my expectations all the way around. I’ll be taking in our other cars to some minor ‘dings.
They are a little hard to find but worth it!

I had to get my bumper replaced and the owner was so kind and gracious. I felt like they really understood the needs of their customers and tried their best to match a reasonable price for the repair. I visited three other repair shops around the neighborhood but I am really glad I got my car fixed up at Abby’s.

I think I have died and gone to customer service heaven. In my heathen days, I thought that meant Saks or Nordies. No, no. It’s Abby’s.
So a jerk broke my car window a few days ago. When I got to it, there was glass everywhere and a ton of rain got in. I called the dealership where I purchased it a year ago… they quoted me an absurd price, said it’d take «at least a week,» and they have loaner cars I can rent for $ 20 a day.
After calling I few other collision centers, I headed to Abby’s, because it was close to the city, and because a friend recommended them. These angels in Multnomah village quoted me at 30% less than the dealership AND they loaned a rental car for me at no cost AND they said they also offer free towing.
They also got it done the next day, faster than any other body shop I called. Oh yeah, and they also detailed my car for free!
Significantly cheaper, way faster, more amenities, and a free detail thrown in? That’s rock star status. But what took these guys to Jesus status? Mr. Nikzad, the owner of Abby’s caught me before I left and brought a ladder out, so he could cut me some grapes growing outside the office. I said that he didn’t have to do that, but the other man who helped me told me that he does that for everybody.
Maybe it’s because service experiences in the auto industry are creepy at worst, and blandly courteous at best, but I thought this was so sweet and completely unexpected. This is why mom and pop shops reign supreme.
I didn’t ask Mr. Nikzad if he made wine from the grapes, but I’m sure he does. And I’m pretty sure he can part seas.

My BMW was in a accident. I had a friend recommend Abby’s, I’m glad he did. The staff at Abby’s was friendly, accommodating and professional. My bmw’s repair was finished a week early and looked phenomenal. They worked diligently to lower my deductible (which they did) and even gave me a courtesy Dodge Charger to drive while my vehicle was in the shop! Two enthusiastic thumps up for Abby’s!

On the rare occasions when I have had to use a body shop I have had the good luck to go to Abby’s. The first time was probably about 8 years ago. I chose them because they were in my neighborhood. I went in to check them out and met Abby, a true gentleman. I was unfamiliar with the process with insurance and he made it all transparent and taught me the ins and outs. He took care of everything he was honest, scrupulous and kind. Later when I wanted to sell my car I took it to him to be buffed. Each time the car was completely detailed on the interior as a complimentary free service. All the paperwork was explained carefully so I really understood.
Lastly, I was rear-​ended while in a line of cars that had stopped for a turning car on Garden Home recently and of course went straight to Abby’s He had acquired a nice partner, Fabio. Still the same excellent service and true kindness.

If you read my reviews you know I don’t give out the 5 stars very easily, but these guys got us out of bind big time. When the wife ran over an odd curb we were hoping she just flattened a couple of tires, but actually she did some more damage than just that and we didn’t have much time to get the repairs done. Not only did they get the repairs completed on time, but they did a great job. They handled almost all of the insurance company interactions, and even cleaned the interior of the car for us. My only minor complaint is that the rental car they provided had a strong odor of cigarettes and a large obnoxious logo on the door… but we didn’t have to use it that long and it was definitely convenient. If you have the misfortunate of needing autobody repairs these guys will take care of you.

I was involved in an Accident that totaled my car, and never having been in an accident before, it was pretty hectic, scary, and confusing. My car got taken to Abby’s, and from then on I received excellent service. From the first moment Abby and Fabio were relaxed and put me at ease. They arranged for towing, contacted my insurance company and handed me a key for a rental car that I was in shortly thereafter. They were never shady, never gave me anything to sign that was not clear, and never tried to talk me into anything I didn’t want to do.
It was a long process, waiting for insurance to make a decision, but Abby always called me when anything new came up. When the final decision came that my car was totaled, he made sure I had a rental car to be able to get to and from work, and even to visit my dad all the way in Medford. When I returned from my trip, Abby let me know that he was selling the car that I rented, and to make a long story short, I bought it! I am now in an even better, safer car. I love it!
Overall, Abby and his employees were honest, reliable, helpful and accommodating and I couldn’t have asked for better service. I hopefully will never be in another accident but in the event that something happened, I would never take my car anywhere else!

I had an accident while I was at the country fair… and my car was parked at home. I searched online for a capable repair shop, and Abby’s had received quite a few high ratings so I decided to give them a try. When I walked into the lobby area the owner (I believe) Fabio greeted me with a smile and a handshake. We went outside, looked at the car and he told me he’d take care of the damage, also .wash and wax the car. I was in and out of the shop in one of their rentals in five minutes flat! Later that day Fabio called and mentioned that he had noticed a few scrapes (that I had known about) on the front bumper. He said he’d take care of that too no charge. The rental they had given me me was a red 2010 Camry, and I wanted a white car so the next day Fabio called and told me they had just received a white rental. When I arrived he was standing next to the car with the keys and I was in and out within 2 minutes. They gave me routine checkups on the status of the repair and I couldn’t ask for a better car repair experience even with the paces I put them through. Two thumbs wayyyyyyyyy up!

after asking around, I learned from a number of people that Abby’s was place to get my car fixed… it was my first time dropping my car off– hence i was a bit nervous… i’m pleased to say i made the right decision… the service was excellent. the job was done well… i was given a free rental… the only reason why i’m not giving them a 5 star rating is because my car wasn’t ready when expected.
