A & E Tax Service Inc

Their attention to detail is horrible. We worked with them for 2 years and after so many apologies, refunded fees because their services were done poorly and caused us ‘extra’ work, we left for an independent accountant. He sees to everything. A&E shuffle things around between each other so often that critical details get dropped. They deliver their substandard services with a smile.

I was given false information from A&E regarding my LLC. I was told even though my newly established LLC had not launched (e.g. been made available to the public), I was still required to file with the IRS. My new agency has told me this is not true. A&E stated my price would be upped $ 200 per the new LLC. I can even postpone the LLC’s write-​offs for when I do eventually file!
Regardless of above, I have been disappointed ever since Stan left the company. I was pawned off to Rebecca whom has terrible customer service. My emails went 5+ days without any replies, and for the price I paid this is not acceptable. I think she reads her emails on her phone and forgets to reply later.
AVOID A&E!

This year I went to another tax guy because I never got anything in the mail/​email from A&E about getting my taxes done this year with them. They were really expensive anyways. So my new tax guy was doing my taxes, and he found a few mistakes A&E made in my previous return. $ 630 in mistakes that I should have gotten back. I talked with A&E and they said they would amend the return for free after regular tax season. After countless un-​answered emails, and only one email in the beginning of may saying it would be ready at the end of the week, it was now almost the middle of June with still nothing done about the return. After I sent over an angry email to one of the other tax people in the office, I finally got something in the mail this past week with my amended taxes. They are very unprofessional and I do not recommend them to anybody.

We get our taxes done by these guys. They make it so easy and make sure we get the most out of our deductions and refunds.
