A Plus L Photo

Portland, OR… do you know how lucky you are??? I am so, so jealous that Adam and Laura now call Portland home. I wish they lived near me, then I could hire them again for all my photo shoots (newborn, 1^st birthday, x-​mas photos, etc). My loss is your gain…
My husband and I were married in NYC in June 2013 (where we live) and hosted a second wedding reception in July at the Nixon Presidential Library in Yorba Linda, CA. Needless to say this can be a logistical nightmare to plan two wedding receptions occurring one month apart, including one on the opposite coast. Ultimately, A+L made this process so much easier. Our wedding photography was very important to us but given that we lived on the east coast, we had to do all our vendor research from afar. I spoke to and looked at the online portfolios of numerous photographers but Laura and Adam were the only photographers that really made me feel at ease with the process and reassured that they were just as invested in the process as we were. We didn’t feel like «just another couple» to them. They were so easy to talk to, and always responsive to emails. I was able to send them photos of the venue and links to my Pinterest board to give them a sense of our style, theme and decorations for the event. The day of, they showed up early and got busy documenting our amazing reception. Not only did they do a great job photographing the event and people but also capturing all the little «details» and decorations. We had a «election campaign» themed wedding and I love that they took pictures of all the decorations (campaign posters, campaign pins, etc) that I spent so long on creating. We love our pictures and both Laura and Adam were such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat if we lived closer. For now I’ll just have to continue to crush on them via Instagram.

When we decided to take engagement photos we were a little like «do we really need this?» Well let me just say… WE COULD NOT BE HAPPIER that we decided to do them!!! A plus L (Adam and Lauren) made the shoot! They made us feel totally at ease and we had a BLAST! truly, so much fun! and the pictures… were amazing — stunning. My parents already have one in their house and we finally have something to put in all our empty frames. Everyone who has seen them has said ‘wow!’ beautiful!’ ‘who took these?‘
So I am yelling from the roof tops — A plus L you knocked it out of the park! :)

Just got my final pictures from A+L photos and completely love them! Laura was so professional and fun to work with. She makes you fell comfortable and helps think of creative ideas for a unique shoot. I would recommend her for any Boudoir photos. My first time taking them and it was a blast!

This is the first time I have ever taken solo portraits! Boudoir photos at that, which was so much fun! Laura was very professional and creative!!! I felt very comfortable! I also recieved my proofs right away… I would absolutely recommend A+L photo!
