If the first person you speak to from a company is incompetent, it isn’t logical to go further. I am an Über driver and last night someone puked in my car. It was imperative that I get it done today so that I could make money tonight. Plus I have to be at the airport at midnight tonight. The woman on the phone knew this and she appeared sympathetic. She told me that someone would be there by 3:30. They close at 5 PM. At 4:30, they weren’t there so I called. This woman who answered the phone said that I was not on the schedule! She said I was scheduled for December 12. Who would drive around with puke in their car for 15 days if they WEREN’T an Über driver! I was livid. She said there was nothing she could do. She put me on hold to explain my situation to the owner but he said no.
I had to drive one hour away from Granada Hills to Azusa to the always reliable Stanley Steemer AND pay an extra fee because it is after hours all because of the incompetence of the woman who answered the phone. At best, they should have offered me something. It was their mistake after all! So, a local owner turns away a local customer (before they were closed) who was in a bind… I would never try them now. The person answering your phone is the face of your business. Steer clear of this company.
