My friends and I love coming here for lunch! They have the best deals for their filet mignon and shrimp and not to mention how good it tastes! The salad dressing that they use for their lunch meal is so delicious and other hibachi grills can’t compare! The waiters were also very attentive and nice, they came by our table at least 5 to 6 times in a sitting.

It was my first time being here. I don’t live in the area but I wanted to check it out. I had the 911 roll it was really good. Our server, Ace, mentioned they have a full bar so I ordered a lemon drop. Though, they didn’t have a bartender because our server was making the drink and it turned out really good. The staff was very friendly. Definitely coming back for more sushi and cocktails.

Coming back from Santa Barbara I stopped at this spot with my boys for a few beers. The food was great and we were well received by a nice young gentleman named ace. Service was good. Definitely coming back, porter ranch is far af from la but definitely will recommend if you’re in the area, Foods

This place has been on a steady decline for the past couple of years. Stopped in for lunch. Service was good. But the food was terrible. My steak tasted like cheap meat and had no flavor. The chicken was undercooked. Never coming back.

My God, I hate this restaurant. Overpriced and uninteresting teppan. You’re paying for the show(clicking knives, flipping food into the air and lighting a «volcano» on the grill) but you will leave hungry and dissatisfied, and you’ll be out about $ 50 per person.

Restaurant price but poor service and lousy food court quality food. You have better options near by. I should have checked the review before visiting. I last visited Musashi years ago. It was good. It was one of those Japanese restaurants that took pride in their craft. They must have changed owner. The wait staff is now all Thai. Went for Sunday lunch. Miso soup was lukewarm and too salty. California roll fell apart and lacked in content. It was mostly rice. Sukiyaki was over salted and contained total of three slices of beef. I double counted to make sure. The wait staff was rude and retorted, «that is the lunch portion.»

Such a bad sushi restaurant. I went by myself in the afternoon and I went inside the restaurant. I was waiting for 5 mins until someone realized that I came. The service sucks the chefs are rude. Its baad. They were like rushing so I finish and leave. The tables are sticky. Its not clean. Never again. Also the price is like I ate at Nobu ! The location is good though

First I need to give my positive feedback: I’ve never had a bad meal at this location, my steak at the teppan table was amazing. We all had excellent food. I would give 4 stars for the food and the cook, but this really should be a $$$ not a $$ restaurant because the prices are just really high. OK we know this going in because we have eaten there many times. Our bill was $ 197BEFORETIP for 4 adults and one child(we had one beer so alcohol wasn’t the driving factor). When the waitress asked if our grandson wanted ice cream, of course he said yes, please, vanilla. As she brings it back to him, she tells us that it isn’t free, they don’t give child ice cream free anymore. What? $ 11.50 for him to eat rice and shrimp, $ 197(before TIP) total and they want to charge $ 4 for a scoop of ice cream? Not nice. Next time leave the umbrella off the ice cream and make it complementary.

Teppanyaki steak/seafood and ENTERTAINMENT, you’re really paying for the latter so you can’t complain about the prices. yup cookware flipping, egg spinning, volcanic onions, the works The combinations are pricier than $ 25 but they come with so much food(i have a small stomach) that i had to share one combo with a friend and was still stuffed! Each combo comes with a salad, a bowl of fried rice, miso soup, grilled veggies, and your choice of meat —gyoza: standard, nice thin skin —shrimp teppan: probably my favorite of what was tried that night —rib eye teppan: you can upgrade to rib eye for the shrimp & steak combo, they ask you how you want it cooked but it was cooked past medium rare for me they give you two dipping sauces but I didn’t think they were necessary NOTE: if you aren’t okay with SLABS of butter to cook your food, stay away. OTHERWISE make sure to request the garlic butter

The chef was truly terrible, and didn’t even look at us the whole time. He just wanted to get in and out. Food was whack as well. We didn’t enjoy it at all. :(

Just left musashi. I was looking forward to eating there tepan all day. I was given Horrible service by the tepan chef. He clearly favored one of the guests and served ridiculously lopsided portions and me rare meat.

I regret that we did not check out their rating before going there to celebrate someone’s birthday. So we have about 4 adults 2 teens and 2 children going there. And we feel so much like being robbed. First, the chef that served us did the very minimum on his cooking. He couldn’t even throw around his knives and stuff, yeah a couple times huge flames and that’s all we’ve got. Not worth it. Second, we ordered filet mignon and lobster. The lobster is a bit bigger than my thumb! The filet mignon is a total rib off. It’s just a piece of ordinary rubber steak. Definitely NOT a filet mignon. We always buy those from Costco and we know how it is when tasting it. Total rib off. The lobster filet meal is not cheap, it’s like close to $ 40! Worst of all, fried rice is NOT included. WHAT??? Finally the bill comes to $ 250 for 4 entrees because we are not big eater. With the fake chef and fake filet mignon. It’s simply NOTWORTH it. Not only that this is the very last time we will ever go there, we just feel so very sick for such a huge mistake! The owner needs to do something about it before it’s going out of business very soon! My recommendation — DONOTGOTHERE!!!

The food was decent but the service was god awful. I understand that it’s Asian style to send the food out as soon as it’s made as opposed to bringing out the dishes once the whole table’s order was complete, but this was ridiculous. I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon/tempera combo plate, my friends ordered one nigiri, two rolls, and 3 other combo plates. After 20 minutes, the nigiri, rolls, 4 bowls of rice, and my combination plate arrived. So I’m thinking okay, if my plate came out, the other 3 should come out soon, since the servers brought out the rice. Since my friends started eating their food, I started munching on mine. 10 minutes later, I’m the only one left eating and my friends are still waiting for their orders, which didn’t come for another 15 minutes. Their rice was sitting out at our table prematurely so it was cold when the entrees actually arrived. There’s a simple solution guys, fire your dishes so that they finish at the same time. WHAT A CONCEPT! My plate was okay but for the wait time my friends endured, I should’ve just stayed home and whipped up my own salmon. Definitely won’t be coming back again.

Its ok. My salmon was mediocre. Now I really wish I would have taken a picture of it. Not much flavor, I squeezed the life out of the lemon they gave me over the salmon. Their sushi was pretty good. The ambiance was great, nice and chill but I am pretty sure I won’t be coming here again. The beer they sale here I’ve seen it before at the 99 cent store. The waiter was very non-interacting? If that makes any sense? He was just dropping off our plates like he was dropping his dirty clothes into his hamper.

Good Japanese teppanyaki… great for larger groups and any sort of celebration. Sushi here is surprisingly pretty good. Service here is good, nothing to write home about. This restaurant has been open for a while and they really haven’t done any sort of remodeling since it first opened. Need to step up the ambiance game. Will visit again when in the mood for some teppanyaki.
