Several years ago,(when Centre Street was the only location) I would have given Taco Bob’s 4 – 5 stars, but quality seems to have declined over the years. The meat just doesn’t seem fresh anymore, and seems to have lost it’s flavor. A lot of times I will receive either stale or soggy shells. This used to be a regular lunch spot for me, but I haven’t been there in probably over a year. Wish I could get the funny taco I remember loving years ago, but I’ve just been disappointed so many times that I stopped eating here.

It’s an average taco joint with average food. It’s great for a quick bite after school or if you’re passing it on the way somewhere, but I wouldn’t go out of my way just to go there. There is only one thing you should get there(they have plenty of options but this is their specialty) is the funny taco. It has a soft outer tortilla, cheese to glue the inner hard shell, then normal taco innards. Best of both soft and hard shell taco worlds. They’re tortilla chips are also pretty good.

We ordered for our crew at the Walgreens down the street, and took a little longer than expected to pick up our order. Upon arrival, the man working realized our order had been sitting for a while and offered to completely remake our order. It took him about 5 minutes to remake everything and it all was delicious. We love taco bob’s at Walgreens!

I found the restaurant clean, the staff friendly, and the service quick. Sadly, the food was mostly tasteless. I did appreciate the serving sizes and real chunks of chicken, so I stuck with 4 stars. But, the flavor was lacking for me. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing? I got a quesadilla for the kids and funny tacos for me.

The pro’s: Close to work Inexpensive Quick service Food is ok Hot sauce is great on tacos The con’s: Very small, at lunch you may not find a place to sit Food taste like the ingredients are very cheap. Parking can be difficult as the lot is small and part of it is taken by drive-thru

Pros: This is my FAVORITE place to get mexican. It’s fast food but fresh, pretty cheap, and really good! Cons: I have nothing bad to really say!

I’ve been eating here since high school and always stop by to get a funny taco when I’m in town. I can’t get enough.

This is one of my favorite local spots for a quick Mexican food fix. With food this great I sometimes wonder how anybody could ever pull into a Taco Bell once they’ve been here. This location was recently remodeled and the dining area is very inviting. If you«eat in» the food is served on beautiful decorative glass plates. Nice touch! The family that started this restaurant chain takes great pride in its product. The portions are generous and the price is very reasonable. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. My favorite«go to» here is the wet burrito. The soft tacos rank nearly just as high. I’ve noticed a lot of locals also use this restaurant for their catering services. The catering is well organized and the cuisine is of equally high quality. If you’ve ever met Taco Bob himself he’s one of the happiest most congenial people you’ll ever know. His wife(who we affectionately refer as Nacho Nancy) is also the shoulders of the business and together they’ve built a hometown brand that delivers excellent quality and service. Five stars all the way!

Great food, great service! The food is more like Tex Mex than actual Mexican food, so just don’t expect anything authentic. I had their bob’s burrito combo with inferno sauce when I went. The burrito was good, rice and beans were alright, tortilla chips are great(really light and cripsy). The inferno sauce isn’t as spicy as you’d think(it’s more like hot sauce) and their hot sauce isn’t really spicy at all, just has a tiny kick. P. S. Try their lemonade if you go, It’s made fresh!

I gave this place 5 stars, not only because it was a fun dining experience, and a fabulous business with personality, but because my husband talks about his love for Taco Bobs at least once a week. I should mention that we live 1,479 miles away. As an Arizonan girl visiting my husband’s family for the holidays, I was so excited to finally visit the flagship Taco Bobs! I had been hearing so much about Funny Tacos, and had even made a version for the hubby at home, to appease his cravings. The shop reminded me of a less mobile taco cart, with its finite ingredients, but creative offerings of well prepared items. I did not see any chicken on the menu.(I uploaded pictured of the menu.) The funny Tacos are soft tacos wrapped against hard tacos with nacho cheese, creating a really fun texture. You have to try them! The Cheesey did not look impressive, but it was my favorite. It is a flavorful beef mixture and sour cream in a small flour tortilla. The beef is so yummy! The staff was nice. Contrary to the last review, THEYHAVE A DRIVETHOUGH window, and have for some time. **Taco Bob has a Taco Truck available for special events. They catered a friends wedding and were a big hit! ** South-westerners: You know how it is with hot sauce in the Midwest, right? Don’t expect the hottest hot sauce to be our kind of hot. Everyone there thinks it is really hot, do not break their hearts by telling them otherwise! ;)

I enjoy Taco Bob’s. I love their version of the walking taco. They now have an inferno sauce that is hot!

The Good– Food is pretty good. Ingredients seem fresh, and quicker than a waiter-service Mexican restaurant. Fresh tortilla chips Daily special is usually a good price The Bad– Really cramped location Unfriendly staff Charge extra for everything(sour cream, chicken, etc.) No drive-thru(unlike some other Taco Bob’s) Salsa is tasteless(«hot» isn’t hot at ALL) So, pretty much– if you’re in a hurry and you want something better(and more expensive) than Taco Bell, but don’t have time for a real Mexican restaurant, this is an alright(not great) choice.
