Their raspberry and cream french toast is quite amazing. I wish this location was a bit bigger and head more seating but it was a good visit and I will be back.

Unfortunately, the service this past weekend overshadowed the food. So, first, I’ll say that everything I’ve ever gotten for breakfast has been absolutely outstanding. However, until this past weekend, we’ve always ordered it to go, and have never eaten in the restaurant. And based on this past weekend, that’s apparently the only way to get good service. The food: the stews, wraps, and breakfast quesadilla are all fantastic. Water St coffee is delicious. The service: we went at 8:00 Saturday morning, thinking it was early enough to beat the rush. It appeared so; there were all of 4 tables full when we got there. BUT… they were putting together a massive to-go order, which got complete priority. No one in the restaurant was served for nearly 50 minutes while they put that order together. Everyone was just sitting there with coffees and waters, looking around at the servers continually bringing out food to put in bags, at the expense of all the in-house patrons. We were then informed, 40 minutes in, that it’s a recurring order from one of the large corporations in town. Which begs the question, if it’s pretty typical, why are they not staffed or prepared for such a morning? And why do those not present get preference over those dining in? And why did no one seem the slightest bit apologetic? Like I said, we’ve never had an issue when we place a carryout order, and judging by our experience with the large carryout order being fulfilled while we were there, the only way to get good service is to carry out. If you dine in, you’re at the will of anyone carrying out.

Been a long time fan of Tiffany’s since she was over on Campus. Back then, Tiff would go from table to table and you could tell she loved what she was doing, she was passionate about her business, and wanted to make sure everything was the best. At the new location, you can tell it has been very successful for her, but, just my opinion, a lot of that genuine table to table visiting is gone now as she focus on making it bigger and better. Bigger always isn’t better, and I think this is an example of that now. Food is still very good, but prices have increased now as well. I still will go here for breakfast, just now not as often as I used to.

Had again waffle, eggs, sausage. Service better waffle crispy and warm. I believe it is a Carbon Belgium Waffle which is the best brand of malted waffle made. Rest of breakfast was very good.

I have never felt more welcomed or appreciated in a resturant. The owner was very nice and went around talking to every customer giving it a family atmosphere. The prices are amazing for the portions; I always have to take at least half home.

Tiffany has ruined most other breakfast places for me. Thanks Tiffany… East egg, Nina’s, Sophia’s have been effectively ruined… Thanks a lot. In all seriousness best breakfast in town.

I left a huge, long-winded review after stopping in for my first meal here… Now I’m a semi-regular(twice a month). I still stand by my original review, this is the hippest place to get a tasty breakfast with some pretty interesting twists on the usual classics.

Great place for breakfast and seems like large portions. They don’t skimp on what you ordered. I still haven’t been able to finish a meal. Different twist on omelets and French toast. Can get busy at times but usually seated fast.

The food is okay(eggs weren’t very good but the biscuits and gravy were pretty good. Just a lot of gravy). Service was friendly, but slow. Well priced & great coffee.

I went here a few weeks ago for a Sunday morning breakfast. It was our first time and it was stupendous. I don’t see it on menus very often, so of course I had to order the chicken and waffles. It was a good choice because that meal was delicious. They top the CnW with a bacon jam that was AMAZING! My wife and her sister each had an omelet. I don’t remember exactly what they ordered but both were very satisfied with their meals. The only negative was the noise level. I’m not sure if it was the people or the way the restaurant is designed but it was a negative. Service was typical but no complaints. The waitress kept my drink filled and the food was prompt for how busy it was. I highly suggest giving this place a try but avoid peak hours. They do often have a wait on the weekends.

This place was«ok». From the reviews though, I had expected perfection. The place seemed to have the things that it needs to make it something special… a caring proprietor, great looking dished, hopping atmosphere, but ultimately it fell flat compared to other places in Kalamazoo. Be prepared for a 30 minute wait, and for a VERY noisy establishment. The place looks great, but they need to get some noise reduction installed to eliminate some of the echos. The best item that we had was the Korean chicken and waffle. Great flavor profile. Avoid the chicken fried steak. They don’t do anything special with it, and the gravy is a little bit bland.

Judging by the other reviews, my two bad experiences aren’t the norm, but our breakfast last week was so disappointing I have to comment. We stopped at 10 am on a weekday glad to see it wasn’t too busy. After taking a seat we were offered menus and told out server would be right over. He came by, took our drink order, and disappeared. When he came back with one of two drinks we placed our order and laughed that we were destined for bad experiences here, based on our first go around months back. When the food finally arrived it was delicious and the portions were generous, but the lousy service killed the meal. Then it took longer to get our bill then it did to get the food. I would much rather support a place like this than a chain, and good help is hard to find, but it may be a few months before we try again.

This place cares about your experience. So many times we focus on the food but forget about the service or vice versa. This is a non-chain small locally owned and operated business that just does breakfast and lunch. Tiffany herself came out and checked on our dining experience and even chatted with us. I could see the passion in her as u see her run around from table to table in the restaurant like a bee pollinating flowers. The menu was creative and I’m looking forward to giving this business another go.

Lovely breakfast spot! I tried the raspberry cream cheese French toast and it was delicious. My son had the chocolate chip pancakes and the size was generous. We will be back to sample more dishes.

I really like this place for a few reasons: 1. They have gluten free options… including gluten free toast that can be made into GF French toast sticks for the kids. Awesome. 2. It is very kid friendly. 3. Raspberry cream cheese French toast and Java French toast. Yum. 4. They serve Waterstreet coffee. This is a new«regular» spot for us.

Had a great lunch here. The food came out nice and hot and was very tasty. The staff was also super nice and even offered to just give me a few quinoa patties on the side because I just wanted to taste it. I wound up getting the korean bbq chicken and waffles which blew my mind. Salty, sweet, crunchy and soft all at the same time. Add a little bit of hot sauce to it(which i did of course) and you have a killer dish. I also tried their quinoa patties which tasted pretty good but I wasn’t blown away by it. It’s a very cute and cozy place and seat yourself dining. If I’m ever back in Kalamazoo MI I think I’d want to try out some other menu items.

I stopped in Tiffiny’s Monday for a late breakfast with a friend after driving by for a year or so and seeing a lot of cars in front of the restaurant. Each time I dove by I thought they must know something I don’t. Well they did. The restaurant is small but warm, cozy, new, colorful green wall with a daily special chalkboard, artfully written. This is so not your average breakfast place/joint. It is a very good casual café. The waitress asked if we had been there before, so she explained the popular items to us. I did remember hearing about the breakfast stews being a favorite but couldn’t imagine stew for breakfast. I had the greek stew. It was fabulous, almost like a scramble, but the hash browns are mixed with the eggs along with feta, mushrooms, onions and small pieces of meat. Then a tzatziki sauce is drizzled over the top. They come in two sizes. I would recommend getting the smaller one. I ordered the large, it was huge, but I ate it anyway it was so good. My friend went the boring route with scrambled eggs, bacon and has browns. It was good but not fabulous. The bonus is they have GLUTENFREE toast! Thank you Tiffiny for thinking of us out there. Water Street coffee too is always good. This will be my to go to breakfast place. Or lunch. The lunch menu looked good. It is a pleasant place to eat any time of day.

We came here today with the thought that there wouldn’t be too many people on a Monday… Presidents Day. We we wrong; the place was packed; but there was only 1 waitress for the whole place so I had a hunch it would be a less than desirable experience. This immediately became an issue because of the time it took to be served, place our order and get a refill on beverages. When the food arrived, it was barely warm at best… And it looked amazing(see pic). The tamale was amazing, but the rest wasn’t up to par. I had a tiny little portion of huevos rancheros with an equally tiny portion of black bean salsa. My wife had a waffle platter which was enormous; with 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and a waffle. The waffle went back because it was cold, but was quickly replaced with a new hot one, which was very good. The menu is great, the staff is friendly and I suspect that it was just an off day, so we shall try again another time.

I walked in and was immediately greeted with a «hello» and a friendly smile. The interior of the restaurant has inviting colors and décor. You can seat yourself which I prefer. I always look for something unique on a menu that makes a locale stand out. The breakfast specialty here is the breakfast stews. They are a potato based and topped with eggs and whatever other ingredients that make up that particular variation. The Legendary is their recommendation but with three types of pork I decided to opt for something with a bit less meat. The Southwest has a great taste, a bit of spice but not too much. We also had the Hippie and substituted the cheese blend with feta. I’d suggest a bit more seasoning of the potatoes themselves in the stew entrees. Making the potatoes a bit crispier could also be an option. Overall, a great tasting generous portion of food if you’ve got a big appetite. They serve Waterstreet coffee which is a great idea and already puts them a notch higher than an average breakfast/lunch spot. Service was excellent. The coffee and water cups were kept filled and the staff was attentive and hard working. I’m happy to see a place like this in the neighborhood and wish them success!
