I wanted to love this place, But the beer selection is terrible! My dates burger was well done not the medium it was supposed to be. My margarita was disappointing, so my party gave it two stArs. I gave the extra star because my server was good, plus the fries were very tasty.

Straight up, this is a solid burger joint. Though fairly small inside, there are plenty of tables and booths lining the walls and the décor is of the reclaimed wood gastropub variety… well, with the addition of cow pics on the wall. I opted for bar seating bc they had some tv’s, but with Nick stations on both screens, I was glued to my phone. The service was good and soon I picked up the Socal burger($ 11, turkey burger, cheddar, pickled onions, sprouts, guac) with sides of dill pickles($ 3) and a baby green salad($ 3.5). Pickles were good and the salad was OK, but both were pretty tiny and seem like they should come with an $ 11 burger. A side of fries is also $ 3, which again, should probably be standard with a burger purchase. Beyond my monetary whining, the Socal burger was actually really well done and will pull me back to B-Burger in the future. It’s pretty rare to find a turkey burg that’s cooked well, is juicy and loaded flavor. Really enjoyed this guy. So, like other reviewers, I found the final check to be a bit much, but the burger was good enough to justify future visits. Protip: they have some solid beers at the bar and a brunch menu

I ordered pick up last night 1÷30÷16 and was sorely disappointed. Short summary this is NOT the place to get a salad and a burger, this is the place to try something new(like elk-at a high price). 1) Small Sweet Grazin Salad with an add on of lemon chicken $ 14.40 –The dressing was inedible, it tasted like pure dijon and lemon juice. I’m happy I tasted it and didn’t pour it on my salad. –The lemon chicken was so burned I could only eat a small amount Summary: For a small salad that costs $ 14.40, ANY other restaurant in town offers better quality and quantity 2) Lemonade $ 3 –Got charged and forgot to put in my order 3) Onion Rings –were tasty… Too bad there were ONLY6 4) Regular Burger with lettuce tomato onion and ketchup –There is no reason why this small run of the mill burger should be $ 11 I have eaten sit down here once before and i am hoping that my experience would have been better if i had eaten at the restaurant. For example i would have received all the items i paid for, I could have sent back burned food, and would have switched to a different dressing. Though this shouldn’t be an issue in the first place. The service was another bad experience. i have had the misfortune of only dealing with a extremely unhelpful and uncaring employee, a mid twenties girl, brown hair and wears thick eyeliner on top lid. Though the other staff members seem very nice, my point of reference of service is only from this unprofessional employee. You return to a restaurant for good food and service, in absence of both there is no reason to return.

Bought takeout from Bareburger for dinner. I’ve never had bareburger before so I wasn’t prepared for all the different patty choices. I went with regular beef just to have something to compare. I ordered The Standard and my husband got a salad with an added duck patty. We also got fries and sweet fries. I was so pleasantly surprised by how delicious this burger tasted. Their house pickles are fantastic. They’re tangy and crunchy, a perfect combo with a juicy burger. This is coming from someone who doesn’t like pickles ordinarily! I was really surprised by how much the pickles made the burger. The burger was flavorful yet not greasy. I thought the size of the burger was perfect. I’m sick of eating monster sized mediocre burgers — Bareburger really hit the spot for me. I stole some of my husband’s salad and it was really delish as well. The greens were fresh, the pickled fruit bits were light and refreshing. Very yummy. Maybe it was because we got takeout but the French fries were a bit soft for me. The sweet potato fries retained their crispness and we’re tasty. I would order from Bareburger again.

I love this place. My only complaint is that the burger buns can be hard. Otherwise, very creative menu and delicious organic food.

My husband and I swear by this place. We eat here almost everyday and it’s not just for the food. The staff and management are AMAZING! Never had a bad meal or bad service. Welcome to Port don’t ever leave.

Second time I was here, my Standard burger(basic one) was not Hot, my husbands was not Hot also. Can’t understand how it could be luke warm. We went at 5:30ish on a Monday, wasn’t crowded and the place is not big. This is disappointing, when your spending $$ on a burger. Onion rings are awesome though!

Easily my favorite local burger joint. Really delicious burgers and in my half-dozen visits, excellent service. And they serve beer which is a bonus.

Burgers are good but the service is not and the price is high. Staff seems to be OJT at all levels. For the price would rather go elsewhere. Atmosphere is nice but does not over come the price etc

We have been to the Bareburger in Bayside many times, and when I discovered this location, I was excited since it’s much closer to where we live! What a disappointment… we went around 6pm on a Saturday night and the staff were basically nowhere to be found. Our waiter was basically non-existent, and didn’t even ask if we wanted anything to drink! Also, to our dismay, they decided to change the menu at this location. Why mess with a good thing?! So, as I’m gagging down my salad with disgusting dressing, I notice the specials board in the corner by the bar. WHYDOTHEYNOTTELLPEOPLEABOUTTHESPECIALS?! I would’ve ordered that hotdog special instead :( I will not go back to this location.

Great burgers/horrible prices. I guess it’s the area, Port Washington that mandates these kind of prices. As good as the burgers are, I do feel they are a bit too small for the price. Expect to walk out paying $ 16-$ 22 a person if you get fries and a drink on the side. The wiki wiki is awesome though. that pineapple relish. mmmmmmm.

Ahhhh Bareburger. That place you go to when you’re sick and tired of your plain Jane beef burger and want a more exotic grind of meats. Maybe you’re coming here because you want to know what elk tastes like. Do you even know what the heck an elk even looks like though?!! All these silly questions aside, here is my written experience about eating at Bareburger. I’ve been to Bareburger before and this new one opened up in Port Washington so I wanted to check it out. I am by no means a Bareburger or even a burger aficionado but I do love food so that’s something. I went in with a friend around lupper time(the awkward time between lunch and dinner) and the place was reasonably full which is always a good sign I would say. If you’ve been to Bareburger before you can expect the décor and atmosphere to be pretty much identical to all the other locations. The portraits of farm animals in suits was a bit strange but I guess it just didn’t float my boat. We sat down and the waiter came to take our orders. She was friendly and did everything fine so no complaints. I got the Wiki Wiki(Wild boar, pineapple relish, duck bacon, etc) and my friend got the FireQuaker(Duck, habanero something, something…) We also got an order of fries and rings to share. I’d say if you want to leave full, get a side order because the burgers aren’t that big to be honest. It’ll burn a hole in your wallet but you should know that coming into Bareburger. It ain’t cheap! Our food came out in a timely manner and it was all gone within 15 minutes. Quality, service, and taste were all pretty good. the wild boar and the pineapple relish didn’t blow me away but it certainly wasn’t bad. That’s just my preference though and it just wasn’t my cup of tea. Duck bacon was pretty awesome though! Fries were on point and rings were crispy and delicious. tl;dr — If you’re in the area, it’s not a bad place to eat at all! You go in for Bareburger and you get Bareburger.

While visiting family and walking Main Street, we stumbled upon Bareburger a new Burger Restaurant. We checked out Unilocal and saw this was a chain. We were. Little hesitant with the recent burger craze that they would be mediocre at best, were we wrong! The Port Washington Restaurant was on the smaller side, however the tables and booths were very nice, and roomy. We settled in and were quite impressed with the craft beer selection for a chain. The menu offered numerous types of game burgers and sandwiches. It was nice to see numerous gluten free and vegan options as well. At the waiters suggestion I ordered the El Matador while my boyfriend settled on the Buckaroo and to split an order of fries. The Matador is bison, which I’ve never had but figured, when in Rome… It was delicious!!! Tasted like a perfectly cooked med rare burger. The burgers was a little difficult to eat towards the end due to being so juicy, but I’d rather than then over cooked and dry! My boyfriend was very happy with his Buckaroo and can’t wait to come back to try a different option. With an over abundance of burger chains opening, we were a little sad there isn’t one closer to Boston. We will have to wait for out next trip to NY.

Good view, aesthetic old country look. Nice animal head portraits. Burgers well cooked, I had the wild board. It sure goes better with bacon, so add bacon if you enjoy your crispy between your buns. I had the macho fries and were good but is a full meal in itself, 11 $ for fries is a meal price. So add bacon if that’s your choice for a treat. Soda I tried the mandarin, which reminded me of a taste from airborne vitamin C dissolve, frizz drink. Then I tried the blue berry and that reminded me of a healthier grape soda. Drinks are healthy conscience with cane sugar. A plus there are the free refills, so drink up and try all flavors till you find your one.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! Today was my first time at Bare Burger and boy was I impressed! From the vast menu to customizing your burger from the meat to the bun to the cheese to the sauce/toppings! Not to mention the fact that they serve fabulous shakes and ice cream sandwiches! And the piece de resistance was the service. Phenomenal!(Big shout out to Fabian!) Can’t wait to go back!!!
