Second time I’ve been here and it’s always good. The buffet has a plentiful selection. Friendly faces that greet you when you enter.

So you walk in. No one is there. You seat yourself and wait. This guy comes out and tou ask for a menu he says. No we have curry chicken and butter chicken. You are then forced to pick one of these two without seeing what either is. The food was okay but i will not be back

Average. I ordered pick up and my food was actually taken from the buffet at the end of the night. So my food wasn’t warm. They ran out of naan so it was pre packaged naan. Samosas were spicy and delicious. I ordered the butter chicken which is what I always order when I’m first trying out a new Indian place. My chicken was pretty dry and the sauce wasn’t as flavorful as I know it can be. The rice was taken from the rice cooker and pretty cold. Not a huge fan but it’s the closest.

Worst Indian food I’ve ever had. I was told my order would take 30 minutes but it took an hour, and I was the only one there. While I was waiting the extra 30 min at the restaurant the guys kids were in the back and would come out occasionally. One of them came out with no shoes on and walked right in the kitchen, which I was grossed out by, The whole place was overall dirty, I was honestly about to just turn around and walk out. The chicken tikka masala was flavorless and seemed like it was just drenched in red oil. Half of my order was burnt. I could tell that the garlic naan just had garlic powder and pre-minced garlic that comes in a jar. I ate as much as I could stomach and threw out the rest. Nothing about this place was authentic and I will definitely not be going back.

What a find. The gentleman who owns the place took great care of us. There was no buffet, but he cooked our food fresh and it was delicious! I had the butter chicken and my wife had the curry chicken… both were yummy. The place was quiet(there were only a couple of other diners while we were there) and definitely had a nice feel to it. We love supporting small businesses and will definitely go back to Taste of Curry. We had lunch specials and the portions were perfect. The prices can’t be beat for authentic ethnic food. Two drinks, two entrees, garlic naan and an appetizer and our bill was only $ 22.

Very disappointed to make a drive for curry and the place is closed. The hours are correct, guess they didn’t want to come to work.

My experience at this restaurant tonight and the reviews posted are so different I’m not even sure it was the same restaurant. First of all Friday and Saturday night you can only get the buffet. Secondly if you want a buffet you are out of luck because despite being the only people in the restaurant(at 7 pm on a friday) many of the spots in the buffet were empty. And the ones that were filled(perhaps 5 dishes) contained mediocre(and I’m being generous) food that bore the appearance of having been on display at the buffet since lunch. The Naan was to real Naan as McDonald’s is to hamburgers. I did see the put out fresh samosas(at least I think that’s what they were supposed to be) at one point, but I think only 3 were brought out. You’ll find a better culinary experience in your grocers frozen indian meals.

Just ate here at the Saturday night buffet. Best Indian/Pakistani buffet I have ever eaten! Everything was exceptional, very tasty and fresh. They brought us fresh baked hot naan:). Will definately come back soon. If you have been wanting to try Indian or love Indian food don’t miss this!

Had a great meal starting with lentil soup and then had chicken tikka. Everything was made fresh to order. The restuarant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and willing to answer ally guestrooms. Definitely going back. Highly recommended.

What a nice down-to-earth, laid-back place to enjoy really good Indian home cooking! We went to buffet saturday evening and had a delicious and truly authentic meal! The owners were so pleasant as well!

Food was delicious. Rice was perfect so fluffy and tasty all on its own. I had the butter chicken was perfect for me. Not too spicy. My fiancé had the chicken curry it was too spicy for me yet he loved it so we both choose wisely:) Will come again.

Taste of Curry is so yummy! My husband and I have been there many times — family owned and they are so nice! They have a buffet and make traditional dishes as well. They also do catering. Priced good and delicious :-)

If something seems to good to be true, it typically is. We were excited to find a good curry place in NPR. This place however leaves much to be desired, and is no comparison to the other Indian restaurants to the south. Ordered take out, was told 20 min. 50 min later we received our order, even though there were only 2 other couples there having the buffet. Clean place, but ran very odd. Our food was very bland and lacked flavor. Probably not a bad option for lunch considering what is around there. Just do not expect much.

Nice and clean inside. Food took well over an hour to come out, which I don’t always mind. The butter chicken was passable, but my least favorite butter chicken I’ve ever had.(We almost always order this at Indian places as a comfort food) The beef biryani, however, was inedible. It was a magical mixture of cow fat and bone fragments. We also got veggie samosa appetizer with was decent. Portions were very large so we both filled up on the so-so chicken and got the hell out of there. The waiter/owner/cook? took some money off our bill and brought us a couple little add-ons as it was clear we weren’t thrilled.(one was those chip things dripping with grease which we also didn’t eat)

Lunch buffet was some of the most amazing food I’ve ever tried. There was nobody here and the price was very reasonable. I hope this is very helpful and was so glad to be the first to discover this little hidden gem on 19.
