For port richey this is a decent Vietnamese place. the phở is pretty good, not great. The ribs we had were good and the thai tea was good as well! The place is big but never crowded so not sure what’s up. I thought the crispy spring rolls were the best thing we had. They were REALLY good!

My 1st time there was after lunch time, about 1:45. I ordered takeout, the dining area was clean, the service was friendly, prices great, food quantity was huge, the food was nice and hot, and the quality was really good. I had the phở with rare beef tenderloin. The takeout packaging was done very well and it had everything I would need to have my lunch anywhere it also had every and any condiment I would ever want. I will be back often! I gave only 4 stars because, I haven’t been in to sit down and eat, and the decorations looked very cheaply done, and horribly generic. However, restaurants are about food, I just hope the kitchen isn’t done cheap.

I come here about once a week and have never been dissatisfied. The staff is extremely attentive, respectful, and friendly. Their phở is by far the best in the area. Make sure to try the Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk. Absolutely love this place.

First rime here and frankly the first time having authentic Vietnamese food… so my rating is merely based on my experience here and not a comparison to any other Vietnamese restaurants. We got Phở and I was greatly anticipating my first try. Admittedly, I probably should have asked more question, like why the aprouts, cilantro, and basil were delivered… but there was no explanation from the server, or even suggestions… note, when we arrived we told the server it was our first time. Our meal came out and it was piping hot. My bowl was substantial, mostly broth and a few slices of ribeye. The broth was very weak, perhaps even watery. The taste that was present seemed to be a weird combination of possibly clove or allspice, nothing I would imagine in an Asian flare… I feel bad offering a low rating, since I never had Vietnamese food before, but it is not my thing.

Very Good but not obvious if you aren’t looking for it. I had the grilled shrimp and pork vermicelli and my husband had the shrimp lemongrass stir fry. Afterwards, he got a Vietnamese ice coffee and I had a sweet Thai tea. Both were very good. Quiet atmosphere, family friendly, and polite staff.

Were trying to be considerate to the other guests by ordering food for us and our small kids to go. Went on to regret that when they forgot about us for 15 minutes before taking our order. The other people who came in at the same time as us had food before anyone even asked us what we wanted. Then got home and were definitely missing meal components. Ordered two soups but there was only 1 container of broth. Also missing the other ingredients that supposedly came with the ramen beyond noodles.

Ooooooh yes! This place is on point! So fresh, So tasty, the phở is amazing… Since last month my husband and I have gone at least once a week. Our favorite is the beef stew phở! The spring rolls are down right out of this world! I don’t boast about many places, but I’ll come here once a week for life! More if I lived closer… We were eating and out of nowhere the cook brings every table a fresh clear soup that just made your toes curl with greatness… See you tomorrow! Keep up the awesome work… I need your food in my life so please stay!

Best Phở I’ve had. It made me actually like it a lot more than any other place in Tampa. Good atmosphere, VERY polite staff. Good value! Worth it!

Tucked into a little strip mall is this fantastic little place which serves up some really, really good phở! For as simple as phở is, it is incredibly easy to mess up apparently because I’ve had some that was really just NOT good. Not at all the case here. Large portion that was reasonably priced and cooked to perfection.(I had the beef and meatball — both which were very tasty) Also tried the egg rolls which were delicious. I wasn’t sure what to expect since I found this place quite by accident but I’m so glad I did because I really enjoyed my meal here. The service was very prompt — attentive server and very polite. Not a whole lot of Vietnamese food options around this area… luckily the one there is happens to be a really good one!

This place is outstanding! Bare in mind that I have never had Vietnamese food. I do, however, know when something is made right. This place was wonderful! The food was remarkable and a thrill even, full of flavor and opened up a whole new taste experience for me. This place is truly unique to the area and must be valued for being daring enough to open an authentic Vietnamese dining experience in a rather culturally deplete Community. I will be coming here as much as humanly possible as there is so much I’d like to try, and I am confident with the skill and ability shown with what I ordered, there is just about nothing I won’t like. One of the most outstanding facts about this restaurant what the amazing service! I cannot say enough about it, our waitress was knowledgeable and so incredibly helpful and made the experience that was already fantastic because of the food that much better. I would argue that her skill as a wait person is easily one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere! With out a doubt! Finally my personally favorite part of this restaurant is their authentic ingredients! Tripe, chicken, feet many wonderful parts of the animals overlooked and undervalued by most in western culture. But don’t worry those ingredients are only in a selection of the dishes offered. Do your self a favor, if you enjoy wonderful and exciting flavor and want a new place to love, try this place! It is outstanding!

Phở Saigon?! More like Phở«I will never say gone»! The food was seasoned judiciously, and wasn’t overly sweet or tangy(something I find commonly in Vietnamese restaurants). The service was prompt and polite, and the dining environment was enjoyable as well. I had the Beef Com Tam, and I recommend it.

Not every detail is exactly right but the overall experience is really very good. The value, taste, and service were all pleasurable. I’m happy to see area peeps discovering this lovely spot for some great tasting Vietnamese cuisine at a reasonable price. I hope they add banh mi! Don’t ban you, banh mi!!! In the meantime, the phở, noodle dishes, and other offerings are sure to make you happy. :)

The fact that this is the ONLY Viet restaurant in Port Richy automatically earns this place a high rating in my book! Kudos to the owners for taking a chance on an area that is devoid of Asians & people who understand that not all Asian food is the same. The questions I overheard swirling around me made me GOL(groan out loud. is that a thing yet… like LOL… No?! Why not… anywhoo…). «Do you have General Tsao’s chicken? I can’t find sweet & sour pork either.» «How about papaya salad? Or sticky rice?» «Can you make hibachi?» On & on… P. S., folks, those are NOT Viet dishes. The VIETNAMESE dishes that they do serve here though are pretty decent. Best I ever had? Not really. As Josh T. mentioned in his review, the Vietnamese food in Eden Center in VA is much better. Been there many times when I used to live in Virginia. But that’s not a fair comparison. The Viet population there is much greater there = better ingredients = more competition = better food. So while not the best I’ve ever had, the food here is legit and satisfies my Viet food craving whenever I’m in the area. Will definitely be back.

I checked Unilocal and the Port Richey, Florida area finally has a good place for phở! I ordered fresh spring rolls $ 3.50 plus Beef Combination Phở for $ 8.95. It is on the large side. My partner ordered the beef with broken rice $ 7.95. Their broth beats out both phở places in Clearwater, Florida. They also give ample dressing for phở like bean sprouts as seen in the photo. Service was on point. Waitress was attentive, very helpful, and in tune with us. Restaurant location used to be a Mexican restaurant and is clean. There aren’t many signs inside that it’s a Vietnamese restaurant but the phở broth speaks for itself. Will I return again? Definitely.

Three out of five really is an above average rating and I’m a realist. I’m also not Vietnamese but married into a Vietnamese family so phở is always on the menu. We frequent Eden Center in VA and in comparison this place falls just short to what are accustomed. The ambience do the restaurant didn’t feel authentic. The red bench seats looked like remnants of the previous failed restaurant — maybe something Mexican. But it was clean and we were greeted immediately so we took a seat. Plus my wife hadn’t had soup for a week so I knew there was no turning back. I ordered Phở Tai and thought the broth was really good but the beef was just average. I wish they offered culantro leaf(ngo gai) but the market down here doesn’t offer it, we were told. My wife ordered phở special, which basically has everything in it, and while she also enjoyed the broth thought that some of the ingredients didn’t taste fresh. Meatballs, eyes on you. Suggestions for the restaurant: Add photos of the food for new comers and add a little more Viet vibe with maybe some wall photos and color. Most will order soup so go out of the way to make it stand out with the best ingredients. Be sure to offer steamed sprouts at the time of order. I would have ordered com thit nuong of it was thin sliced over rice. One of my favorites and I think most Americans would enjoy it if they knew about it. Hope to see this place doing well in the future.

Was looking and hoping there was a phở place or Vietnamese restaurant around in New Port Richey. I order the phở and I would have to say… GREATPHO!!! I would definitely eat here again when I come around for work.
