Venture Charters

I have chartered the Joker with Randy twice in the past several years. The first was for a bachelorette party back in 2008 and then this last weekend we chartered it for a tour of Seattle by boat for our wedding party. We had 27 guests on board. We met at Shishole Bay Marina, went through the Locks and into Lake Washington, and then were dropped off in Ballard. Randy and his deckhand Wayne were great — they made everything painless. We were free to take in the views, enjoy food and beverages, etc. It was a very affordable way to get everyone on a boat to enjoy Seattle by water. He even let us stop the boat to go swimming in Lake Washington, which many charters will not let you do. I highly recommend Randy & Venture Charters for your boating adventures.

This was a very nice weekend get-​away for us. The apartment was clean and well put together. Though there were only two of us, it could have easily slept 6. Having the deck right on the water was very nice. Randy and Frank were great and very accommodating. Port Orchard was a nice hamlet and we found a couple of great deals in the MANY antique shops.
My one issue was not so much with the place, but that if you’re more than 6′ tall or so (like me), You’ll want to be careful of the low ceilings!
