The staff here are wonderful. All in all the value of the food and beer I purchased fare exceeded my expectations. The prices here are far better that the ferry and they have a great selection of hot food. I did not purchase espresso this time but have previously and it was super yummy. if you are ever in need of a quick bite, a huge variety of tasty beers, or a caffeine jolt this is the place to stop. The owner Fred is a really great guy and is always willing to help and answer questions about the area.

This place is for you if you’re really bored, a little hungry, and the ferry is over an hour from arrival. It’s a small convenience store with no gas and no public restrooms. They make a point to let you know you need to use the restrooms at the ferry terminal. There are post cards, t-​shirts, a fair beer selection for a convenience store, and some snacks. Again, it’s not a place I’ll ever be a regular at, but it may be a place to stop for a snack when the ferry is broken (again).

This place has a very friendly staff and much better prices than on the ferry. You also cannot beat the location! And I don’t know what the other reviewer is complaining about but my espresso was great!

while one should hardly have high expectations for coffee from a quickie mart, let this review serve to dissaude anyone from ordering espresso from here. walk the extra three minutes to the ferry dock to rocket espresso. i should have!
if you’re just going in to get beer, jimmies or dirty mags (or all of the above), disregard my one star rating.
