One of my absolute favorite places to go! The food is amazing and the drinks are great! We enjoy watching the boats go by and the ship shots. A very fun atmosphere if your looking to let loose and relax!

Nice ambiance with it being right on the river and my food was good for the most part. I ordered the chicken fried steak which comes with garlic bread, mashed potatoes, and green beans. Everything was great until I started eating the green beans. It was clearly a mix of new green beans which were crunchy, not so new green beans which were soft, and rancid green beans which were downright disgusting. Everything but the green beans were great though. Moral of the story. Don’t get the green beans.

Tried this place for dinner. Very good. Fried boudin balls were great. Great atmosphere service was a little sketchy at first but the server and manager came through to make for a great experience.

Food was good no complaints a little pricier than you would think for that area. Atmosphere was great loved the tiki bar and all the areas to sit outside.

Not too bad… almost earned 3 – 4 stars, but it seems that our waiter was more interested in flirting with staff and others than attending to our table. The food was good, the river view was good, and the atmosphere was lively with kids playing and a band in the background, but the sour note to the evening was the service from our waiter. We were a table of five and were seated in a timely manner. Our waiter came out and took our drink and food orders and all seemed well. Soon, our child’s plate came out first, which was good considering a waiter should try and get the kids food out first; it makes parents happy, but soon after the service went downhill. While waiting for our food we had the casual time of people watching and talking, but our drinks got empty… watching our waiter, he seemed to have more time at the well/waiter station to joke/flirt/talk with the ladies. Granted, work needs to be «fun» sometimes, but after waiting about 10+ mins and watching the jovial fun I needed to go ask him to come check our table and get the drink refills. It wasn’t as if we were slamming them back, we were casually drinking and they were empty to the fact that we no longer had ice in them… yes, it melted and we drank that too. After this escapade, the food finally came; at the same time as one of our two«appetizers»? So we just accepted it as a «whatever» moment and just focused on the meal and the family time. During our initial bites, we remembered, where was our second appetizer? So, with curiosity I needed to search for the waiter(again mind you) and could not locate him. So, we just continued to eat. Eventually, the waiter made his self known and asked«how is everything?»…well, being we are almost done with our meal. that question should have been asked within 3 mins of it hitting our table.(that’s usually good waiter etiquette) [its been over 20 mins at this point now] I replied«it’s good, but could you please get us some refills and take off the second appetizer from the ticket since we did not get it?» His perplexed look showed that he dropped the ball and agreed«ok, I can do that…» At the end, we did finally get our drinks refilled, but we were honestly parched from the food and the desolate service; so drink refills turned into frustration. We got the ticket, reviewed it, and of course; the second appetizer was still on there AND(I kid you not) a staff member came out WITH the appetizer at that point. They looked confused when we turned it away. We showed them that all of our plates were finished and we were done eating, why would we now want the appetizer? Almost simultaneously, to get the check, our waiter showed up. I commented that we did NOT want the second appetizer and that they would kindly remove it from the ticket. with the same perplexed look, he took the long walk of shame back to the register to fix the ticket. Here are my points: Pros — nice location on a good cool night — food was good to descent — music and family friendly — seating was courteous Cons — our waiter needed to stop flirting and playing — waiter needed to pay attention to our needs(and I am not asking to be waited on hand & foot. just do a descent job and I always appreciate your work) — I STILLTIPPED even though I truly should have NOT done so Overall, understand, I know the service industry and I know it can be busy and slammed, but when I observe MANY other sections and staff working together to clear tables fast and efficiently AND get drink refills; all the while you are joking, laughing, and flirting with staff members. it doesn’t bode well for me to «give you the benefit of the doubt.» Then when you still try to push out an order on me that I declined well ahead of time(the second appetizer) that doesn’t help your case either. I also watched how others in the section were being handled and it was the same… so it wasn’t like we were the«bad table of jerks» or whatever. the waiter tended to treat his whole section the same. Was it a «one off» situation for use? I have no idea, but it seems that this also was not the waiters first day since there seemed to be no fumbling around and he knew the menu/drinks/etc thoroughly. I think it was a lack of priorities. THECUSTOMER. Side note: by this waiter not attending to us, or his section, that queued up more patrons waiting to get in and I saw some others leave while waiting. The faster you turn over a table, the more money in your pocket and the business. the way our service was, I can only assume that the waiter enjoyed making the bare minimum for the day? *I may go back. but I will need to consider it worth the effort.

I really like this, probably my favorite in area. Tonight having Bananas Foster pie first, of course. Then a custom mix of pasta, shrimp, chicken and sausage. Friend had shrimp cocktail, and redfish. All wonderful good. Thanks. Great service here always.
