Miss Kathy’s Nursery School

My 4 year niece went to Miss Kathy’s preschool. When my sister and I went to check out the school, I was very impressed and wished that I could go back to school. The school is very well organized and extremely clean, you can sense the smell of cleanliness as soon as you walk in. Miss Kathy is very nice and friendly. The cost is also very reasonable and the quality of education the school provides is priceless. My niece has learned a lot more than my nephew when he went to a different preschool. Highly recommended preschool.

Miss Kathy is more interested in money and running her «business» than she is in teaching children. She threatened to take me to court based on HER poor bookkeeping and communication skills. My son cried everyday and she offered no advice or solution. I believe only for fear that she would lose the tuition. If you enroll here, be prepared to abide by her 15 page by laws, don’t send raisins bc it’s a hassle for them. Don’t send Tupperware because they don’t want to be bothered repacking lunch boxes. She will always be asking for more money every month, if you can’t afford it, she will not allow your child to participate in whatever extra things she mandates. I had my older child in another preschool that was $ 40 cheaper and provided snack and never once asked for additional money. Graduation for my three year old cost $ 80 at miss Kathy’s! After a full school year, my son cannot write his name! My son is smart, but shy. Clearly, the staff at miss Kathy’s couldn’t be bothered to take the time w him. From day one my son was mistreated by the teacher (not Kathy) she would tell him «just stop crying already», within days he was in miss Kathy’s class because, out of fear, he refused to even enter the other teachers room. To compare to the other schools I’ve experienced with my older child, miss Kathy’s roads to learning is a sham! Unless your looking to just drop your kids off to color for 7 hours a week, and possible be traumatized, DON’T go to miss Kathy’s!!! She needs to retire, clearly she no longer loves the kids!!!
