EATS has a cute atmosphere, GREATFOOD, diverse menu, and the staff is hardworking and polite. BUT, someone needs to puff and pass the pipe to the Chef, because HOLYCRAP was he stressing everyone out. Spring break weekend is understandably busy, and today was no exception. I could have even tolerated the wait for a table and food, if it weren’t for the thundering coming from the kitchen. Very well done to the staff members, who kept a happy tone and smile with B List Gordon Ramsey back there bellowing orders.

I don’t leave reviews unless I’m impressed with the overall experience and I was VERY impressed with EATS-Port A. Very friendly service from the waitress and owner right when you walk in the door, is accompanied by a cozy dining room with an eclectic feel. Great recommendations were made in relation to the craft beer menu(a selection larger than any I’ve seen on the island), as well as, the Tex-a-Talian Nachos and entrees whose flavors exceeded what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant. The pastries looked so enticing that we had to get some to go and we were glad we did, fantastic! If you’re looking for a hidden gem in Port Aransas, you’ll want to check this place out.

REALLYENJOYEDTHISPLACE! Friendly service amazing food and love how much of it there is. We were definitely impressed! We sure will be back again. Just the nacho appetizer was like a meal then our huge sandwiches canes out. They offer so much such as large beer and wine selection and coffee. Again we enjoyed it so much!

Food was excellent and lots of it. Didn’t like chef shouting orders and wait help fixing hair all the time. Service a little slow but food made up for it. I still go four stars.

Oh. My. GOODNESS! We really love this place. I had a super fresh and delicious salad called the Spinach Berry Pecan. Dave had the Sloppy Poppie which was a giant mound of deliciously flavored shredded pork and cole slaw on a toasty baguette. He picked a fresh salad to compliment. The chef owner and his daughter and staff are so friendly and welcoming. I hear there’s an off-the-menu pork sandwhich called the ‘dude, man.’ That’s next on our list to try. New hours. Check. It. OUT.(It’s behind the Pink ice cream store on the main drag.)

Ok, went to EATS for first time this evening. We arrived about 5:15 and were the only customers on a pretty dead and nasty Saturday in PA. Ordered the chicken bacon Alfredo and wow! Magnificent. Plus I appreciated that the kitchen is open for me to see the chef working. And it came straight from the fire to the plate to in front of me so it was hot!!! Impressive that chef took so much care and pride on what would be a slow night.

AMAZING! This place is so delicious! They didn’t have any vegan options on the menu but were very accommodating to my requests. The Neal was absolutely delicious. Very well seasoned. The potatoes on the b&g plate were divine. They don’t have decaf espresso, so I had to settle for decaf drip coffee.

We went here for lunch at noon on Sunday and the food was excellent. The service was also great. I had the pastrami sandwich with chicken tortilla soup. The sandwich had kraut and a sauce on it that made it truly delicious. Everything is made in house including the pastrami. The coffee was good and my wife really liked her watermelon and tomato salad… Very fresh.

Came last night for dinner and we were amazed by the food quantity and quality! This place has a new chef from Austin and he brings a great flavor to the place. He came out from the kitchen to check on us and«connect». We were so impressed we came back for breakfast. HIGHLYRECOMMENDED

Absolutely the worst service I have had in my life. I never write reviews but I had to for this restaurant. I had to bus my own table, get my own drinks, and finally got up and left after waiting 20 minutes for someone to take our order. This place should not be in business as I see it. Is this how bad it’s gotten on the island. Oh by the way did I mention that half of their menu was marked through. Pitiful! It made me give them a star.

The coffee was excellent and the atmosphere is really cool. It has a coffee house kind of feel. The people wee really nice and service was quick. The food was pretty good – I got blueberry pancakes and my manfriend got the Bundy. I really liked the Bundy! The bacon wasn’t very good – seemed like it might have been the microwave kind. The potatoes were alright, but we came kind of close to closing and they might have been sitting there for a while.

This was the worst. We have been waiting for 50 minutes for food and now they are telling people that enter that they are out of food. What kind of restaurant runs out of food?! They refused to make specialty drinks(lattes, frappes, etc) because they said it was too busy. This is the longest I have had to wait for food in months. Absolutely atrocious service.

Delicious food, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. They are only open till 1pm, so keep that in mind. They have a nice selection of breakfasts and lunch plates. Very cozy. There’s also an ice cream and coffee shop next door.

We found this restaurant on Unilocal… and I had to try the Eggs Bundy… loved it, but I didn’t like the potatoes… too much salt for me. The blueberry pancakes were so good. light, fluffy and full of blueberries! A special thank you for accommodating my husband. even though egg whites were not on the menu, he had the best egg white omelet we have eaten in a long time. The fruit on the plate was fresh and the coffee was delicious! We had a little service snafu, but the manager(?) was very helpful and our food came out hot and fresh! We will be hitting this up on our next visit.

Delicious Eggs Bundy– that’s something I would order again. If I return to port aransas, I would love to come back here and linger for a while. It would be a great hangout during the morning.

Outstanding. Just outstanding. Open for breakfast and lunch, this is a small, family owned place that really puts their heart into what they serve. We all had pancakes — buttermilk, blueberry, and gingerbread. All came with scrambled eggs and bacon(but sausage parties can be substitued.) Two pancakes, as big as they were, was all we could handle. The manager gave us a sample of their bread pudding cupcake. If we weren’t already full, I’d have ordered those for breakfast indeed — they were amazing. Four types of coffee for the coffee snobs among us. Good food, great service — we were more than happy when we finished eating!
