We always grab our morning tacos via the drive thru… here while on vacation. They’re great and their breakfast dishes are delicious. My only disappointment this morning was they added way too many green Serrano peppers to the Migas plate. So if you don’t like spice, mention to them to cut out the pepper! And their beans are yummy always.

Abundance of choices on the menu. Pricing is great for a port town, too. The Jalisco burrito is a must try!

Got tacos to go for breakfast 4 days on this trip. They were always quick. The tortillas tasted homemade. The tacos are a good size. We have eaten lunch there in the past and always enjoyed it.

Tasty salsa, good tea and decent prices. I liked the service, speed, cleanliness and the food was decent. The main problems I had was certain items were a bit too salty and the tortillas were like they had been bought from HEB.

This place was okay. I really enjoy Mexican food and I got the carne asada and it was really tough with very little flavor. The salsa and chips were good though. The staff was very friendly and kept our chips and drinks always full. I would be willing to go back and try a different dish.

Decent food, good prices and friendly service. Not anything spectacular but a huge menu and portions.

Wonderful service and breakfast. Cannot complain about the $ 1.75 a pint of dos Equis either. A definite go to for breakfast. :)!

Our 11 year old said this was the best Tex-Mex she’s had in a long time! She had the beef quesadillas. Chicken fajitas were delicious and a great value. #36 shrimp was also very good. Will definitely come here again!

Easy, fast, delicious supper. We have eaten here before but kinda forgot about it. We seated ourselves and within seconds our waitress was there to take our drink order and bring us chips and salsa. Salsa was amazing. A little heat but not too hot. She answered all our questons and took down our very specific orders. Everything came out exactly how we ordered it and very quickly. We all took our first bites and went mmmmm then dug in. The meat was tender and flavorful. All the food was amazing! *note they put veggies in their rice* We will definitely keep them on our go to list! I really want some more salsa & sweet tea(perfectly sweet)!! Haha. NOTE: If in a golf cart you must take 6th street behind whataburger to get there. 2 stop signs and its on the right.

I eat there alot. Good and reasonable price. My only complaint is consistency. Sometime perfect sometime a little salty. Also draining meat. Sometimes tacos and burritos will be good hand held for 5 minutes. Other times turn to goo in a minute. Overall good. California burrito worth it.

Mom and Pop feel in the middle of a shopping strip. The vegetables in the Migas were fresh, attentive service, good atmosphere. Open on Monday’s(many are not)

The food and prices are good, but the place lacks personality. Instead of playing on their phones at the bar, the staff should be wiping down the menus.

I don’t always leave reviews, but when I do — the review is good. Best tacos on the planet for cheap!

Not a bad place to eat. They are very quick to get your food to the table. Speak carefully… I ordered rice and got fries. It was a comical meal and I ate them anyway. Chips and salsa arrive at the table as soon as you’re seated and the portions are large.

This is all in the context of where it is. It’s probably the best breakfast around for Mexican. I’ve been for both dinner and breakfast, both have been great. They’re margs are pretty strong and prices aren’t very bad at all. I’d recommend it. Very casual atmosphere. And there’s a drive through!

They serve lunch all day. Huevos rancheros are good and so are their breakfast tacos. The grilled shrimp plate #36. The refried beans are very good. Chips and salsa are okay but you can order a side of queso which is delicious.

So the only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars is because its a good location, plenty of sitting, and it’s fairly clean. We went for breakfast as the island doesn’t have much to offer on a Monday morning. About half of the restaurants are closed on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. I ordered migas, my husband had barbaqoa, and the kids had pancakes. First, we waited 20+ mins for our food. Since we were starving we ordered chips, salsa, and queso, the salsa tasted like pace picante that was blend smooth, the queso was a white cheese and was the best thing we had. Migas had no flavor, refried beans were salty, and I was disappointed that my plate didn’t come with bacon or any meat option. A meat would have helped the migas big time! My husband said his barbaqoa was dry and very bland. Typically it comes with cilantro, minced onions, lime, and jalapeños, but not here. Can’t say we’ll come back, I’d rather eat a crappy donut.

Went here for breakfast on our second day in Port Aransas. It was okay but nothing out of this world. The tortillas tasted homemade and that’s probably the best thing I can say about this place. I had a chorizo and egg plate. The food wasn’t bad by any means, it just wasn’t worth raving about. The service was pretty slow and the place wasn’t that clean either. Overall, I would probably try someplace else next time. It was pretty«basic».

Let me preface this review that we came on a Saturday morning around 10 am over Labor Day weekend. That being said, it took us 15 mins to be greeted at the door, another 10 mins to be greeted by the waitress, another 10 mins to receive our drinks and yet another 30 mins before we received our food order. Food: my wife ordered two breakfast tacos(egg and ham & egg and potatoes). The tacos were good, nothing amazing, nothing gross, just okay. The coffee was however pretty good for diner coffee standards. I offered the Texas Fajitas(beef, chicken & shrimp). The meat was flattened out as thin as jerky and resembled as such. It was over cooked, dry and seasoned in a way that was not very tasty. I only received 2 flour tortillas which if the food was better, I would’ve needed more to finish the fajitas with. The side plate hosted what appeared to be guacamole, refrained beans and rice. The rice was good, however the beans and guacamole were watery and not good. Atmosphere was extremely loud. Don’t expect to carry a conversation during your breakfast, lunch or dinner. I did feel sorry for the waitress who was over worked and stressed with too many tables to serve, bus, etc. Overall I’d give it a C– at best. We won’t be returning to Cancun in Port A in our future. I’d recommend that you visit with low expectations.
