Nice place like all Hamptons… don’t be fooled. Hundreds of oil field workers stay here every night. Breakfast gets hogged up fast. Doors have no easy shut… so every door that shuts is equivalent to 1 stick of dynamite in decibel readings. And wouldn’t you know that it’s 90% oil workers leaving at 5:30 who slam the doors. Bad part of town every direction. Beware of this. One night stays are ok… but don’t be staying here for long or often. WIFI is slow…

Arrived around 7pm Monday night, stayed for 1 night. This is a newer HI&S. Staff was friendly and helpful. I got a single king, but was upgraded to a suite. Very nice room, and the workspace was very unique(lots of table space). Lots of available parking. Wireless internet is decent. Close to I-10, but I did not notice any of the noise in my room. If you are looking to stay in the Baton Rouge area, this is a nice hotel on the other side of the river. Would definitely stay here again.
