Java Cruiser

One of the best food trucks around for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Coffee and breakfast sandwiches in the morning, and grilled cheese, burgers and smoked pulled pork sandwiches for lunch and dinner! Lucky to have seen the truck at local events and now, it’s serving breakfast at my office building!

I was cycling today and saw the Java Cruiser. The owner had closed for the day and was cleaning the truck but was happy to chat with me while he worked and, despite being closed, made me a meal anyway and gave me some insights on his food sources and preparation techniques. Not surprisingly, everything was delicious and I can’t wait to try more things on his menu!

So glad I had the opportunity to try the food/​drink and meet Jeff (the owner). He’s a class act and really understands how to create a great customer experience. He’s engaging, creative, and happens to create delicious food. My breakfast sandwich (with his signature Bam-​Bam sauce) was very tasty. Well done! I shall return.

Yes, yes, yes, yes! I don’t typically enjoy grilled cheese, but this place brings all the delicious! Order the Barely Buzzed with bacon and the Thrilled Cheese if you want your taste buds to sing with happiness. You’re welcome :)

Jefe and Java Cruisers is the best. We used them to cater one of our school events, and the food was unbelievable. But what made my experience with Jefe so exceptional was the fact that he worked with me leading up to the event date to ensure that all dietary needs were met, and that set up and breakdown of our event would be seamless. The level of customer service provided by he and his team is phenomenal.
Our menu included: Salmon/​Melon appetizers, Mac & Cheese, Mac & Cheese with Bacon (TO DIE FOR), Vegetable Medley, and Grilled Chicken Breast (great portion, juicy and flavorful). He is totally stuck with us as a customer now.
TEAM JAVA CRUISER!

The Java Cruiser truck is outside the parking garage near my work every day. Today was no exception. What I failed to realize is that today, my life would be changed forever (in terms of breakfast).
Both people inside the truck were friendly and attentive. I ordered the Budster and a cup of regular coffee. I was the only customer at 6:30AM and it was made quickly. Now, let me give you a rundown of the Budster sandwich. It’s two eggs, bacon, gouda cheese, and homefries on a croissant. W-​O-​N-​D-​E-​R-​F-​U-​L. The cook even put on the «zesty zinger» sauce which was so tasty. It was tangy and kind of sweet, which was spot on to his description of the sauce. It was almost BBQ like. The coffee was tasty and strong.
I’m definitely going back for breakfast. Need another Budster, please!

Jefe’s JavaCruiser and team are fantastic! They catered a large event this summer for my family and the level of service was impeccable! The team was customer service oriented and delivered with an aim to please. The food was delicious, the team is flexible and truly willing to do anything and everything to ensure perfection. It was flawless! They are one of a kind! JavaCruiser brings to life the definition of a family operation that values quality service. The event would not have been the same without them. I would highly recommend any service they provide!

Jefe and Java Cruisers are awesome! Used the Java Cruiser and their grill to cater our 180 person wedding on a farm in Poolesville and they did an absolutely amazing job. We planned our wedding on our own (my wife and her mother and sister did virtually everything) and Jeff was incredibly helpful and flexible when it came to planning and ideas. Our menu included
Snacks during cocktail hour: Kettle Corn and Shell-​In Roasted Peanuts in personalized tubs
Appetizers on the tables: Mozzarella, tomato and basil skewers and pita and hummus (we actually made these apps ahead of time to save some money and Jeff and his staff were nice enough to help serve and organize them on all the tables).
Dinner: Grilled Sweet-​Onion and Mesquite Burgers, Grilled Portobello Mushrooms, backed beans, potato salad, grilled vegetables, and watermelon slices
The food was amazing and we recieved numerous compliments including one guest even saying, «The best potato salad in the world was made by my grandmother, until I ate this. Best. Ever.»
Jeff was incredibly helpful with the coordination and clean up, even going out and renting an additional tent when it looked like it would rain! Since we did everything on our own we had to work with numerous vendors (alcohol, composting, rental equipment and tent, etc.) and Jeff was able to help coordinate with all of them to make our day incredibly easy.
I would absolutely recommend Java Cruisers for any casual catered event.
