I love this part of Florida. It’s just beautiful. We spent time on the beach and aside from the tropical storm(which was actually a cool experience) it was great. The lighthouse and museum area is fantastic, the bars and restaurants and great and the locals are friendly. We biked through the forest area which was stunning and went out on the boat where we met some dolphins! A great time, despite the rain!

Love me some Ponce. A nice quiet little beach town with nice houses and people cruising around on bicycles. Anytime I go to the beach I go here. Its much more laid back and not all congested and has some great fishing spots. Also its one of the few last spots that you can drive on the beach. Seeing dolphins a bunch is a plus as well since it’s so close to the inlet.

«What Ever Happened to Michael?» If I ever decide to disappear – a problem-ridden choice that nevertheless becomes more and more tempting each day – come look for me here in Ponce. I’ll likely be at the beach or marina – swimming in blue water or relaxing midships with cocktails. Ponce is the most wonderful of towns. Its population is small, its structures are few and it’s literally the end of the line. Located south of Daytona on a quiet beach peninsula, the vibe here is sanguine. Peaceful. No worries here, child. None at all… The lighthouse is pretty and the beer at Down the Hatch is cold. Come drink with me if you come. I like it here in Ponce. Her solitude and calm beckon me like nothing else. She calls to me on especially stressful days. Teasing me with ocean vistas. Coaxing me with breezes that whisper through palm fronds. Don’t know how long I can ignore her. But you’ll know where I am if one day I’m gone. And fear not, my friend, for I am happy once again.
