I had a terrible experience with Carletto Lamenta. He wrote up an illegible contract and asked for 50% of the costs up front. He did not start work for a month, and when he did start working the quality was terrible, he used standard nails instead of deck screws, which rusted a week after installation. he used poor quality lumber that warped within a week due to the quality and the fact that not all the boards were nailed down all the way across. Carletto consistently lied about the quality of work, and would not back down when confronted. He asked for money before the project phases were complete, and has left all the pieces of the old deck throughout the yard. Carletto is a crook and liar and should not be trusted.
