We went for breakfast at this small but clean and friendly place. We thought the food was better then a lot of the restaurants close to the beach. It didn’t seem over-priced like a lot of the reviews I read. The staff was friendly and attentive. It’s a good place to get a meal, but not an event style establishment. I would go again, if I plan a visit to Pompano. FYI the locals seem to enjoy it.

Stopped at The Beach Grille for breakfast this morning. The prices are a little high, but it is really close to the beach so beach prices. The staff was friendly and the place is nicely decorated. I ordered the spinich and feta omelette. It took a long time to get it and when it came out it was more like a spinich and feta milkshake. I had to send it back to be cooked longer. It came out again still undercooked but better. I was able to eat it. My wife’s omelette was done right. It was ok but not anything special. Not going back.

Service was great. We went at 11am and got a table right away. My boyfriend got breakfast(The sunrise surprise) and I got lunch(Philly cheesesteak sandwich). The food was perfect. The philly had yellow and red peppers instead of green which I thought was a very tasty difference. My boyfriend’s breakfast was so pretty I just HAD to take a picture(I try hard to not be ‘that chick taking food photos’)

I had a really good Philly Cheesesteak for lunch at The Beach Grille. However on the menu it stated«Authentic Philly Cheesesteak,» which it really wasn’t. Though one may argue, the two top Philly Cheesesteak places, Pat’s and Geno’s of Philadelphia, have long since pretty much set the standard on what does or what does not constitute a Philly Cheesesteak. Though The Beach Grille cheesesteaks are simply are not authentic, don’t take this as a slam. They’re really very good. In fact I’d even go so far as to say equal to if not better than those authentics served up at Pat’s or Geno’s as The Beach Grille gives you a multiple choice of cheeses, use an honest as well as real thin sliced ribeye, 8″ Italian roll with an option of added mushrooms. So, though not in my mind authentic, no big deal. Though nothing more than simple café, The Beach Grille has a bright decoratively painted interior that gives off a local seaside as well as inspiring local atmosphere with your choice of either indoor or outdoor sidewalk seating. As for the staff and service, really friendly café like professionals, generally attentive to your every need. For me, a really solid Three Stars OK plus; one I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Perfect stop for a late lunch after the beach. My cheese burger was great-pretty big and cooked just as I ordered it! Service was friendly and on point. They had crayons and a coloring sheet for my son. They also have a changing table in the bathroom, which is good to know for future beach visits(customers only though)!!

This place is a go to for breakfast if your ever in the area. They have delicious food with a variety and good portions. I went there twice in mini vacation in pompano beach and I didn’t regret it either time. I ordered the French toast & the my way omelet with potatoes both very satisfying. The service is okay due to their only being one legitimate waiter who seems too overwhelmed with so many tables that forgets things and doesn’t take much time in one area. But the food came out in good timing nonetheless and I only have one word for the flavor, DELICIOUS.

This place was delicious i don’t know what they put in the pancakes that made them taste so incredible but it was worth it! My mom got a burger for breakfast and it was delicious(I stole some of her fries). We were the ‘bloody mary’ people! we will definitely go back and its so close!

If you are looking for the perfect place to start your day — this is it. The staff is friendly and efficient. You will be welcomed as an honored guest and you will never have to ask for more coffee. The basted eggs were prepared precisely as ordered. The fresh fruit cup was ripe and fresh. The rye toast was dense and flavorful — not the usual cardboard slices so often served at ordinary restaurants. My husband thought the French toast was great — a large portion of Texas toast with cinnamon. We returned the next day and will probably go back again tomorrow. When you are a vacationer and find the right breakfast place, it’s hard to give it up for the unknown.

Stopped in because the sushi place was closed. I was surprised at how tasty the food was. We got the chicken wrap and the Philly cheesesteak. Really liked both! It took too long for the food to come out but we weren’t in a hurry. I’d try it again.

I always feel bad when I give two stars, because it seems harsh to me… but if you ask me about The Beach Grille, I will literally say«meh»…and that is Unilocal’s guideline for the two star rating. We had spent a few hours on the beach and wanted to get in a little walking and we were getting hungry. We had already been to the pub a few doors down(not this particular day though) and opted to try The Beach Grille for the sake of trying something different(and getting another Unilocal review in). They were pretty busy. I actually never even entered the restaurant as we chose to sit at a sidewalk table, but I heard the staff comment that they were having trouble maneuvering in and out with food. The cover of the menu mentioned cocktails, but when I inquired the waiter said they only had beer and wine… they do have mimosas though so perhaps they consider those a cocktail. We each ordered a corona and looked over the menu, which consists of breakfast and lunch options. I honestly didn’t see anything that interested me. I do give them points for having a veggie burger, but I wasn’t in the mood. My boyfriend decided on the grilled chicken wrap and I got a basket of onion rings. The food took a little while to come out(we had pretty much finished our beers). The onion rings were really nothing special, but I didn’t really expect them to be either… just frozen onion rings fried up and put in a basket. My boyfriend ate his chicken wrap, and again… meh. The wrap was a little dry. In the same position again I would definitely chose another location for a beach side drink and bite. There’s no real view here to compensate for the shortcomings. This place is so small, and I thought a little pricey. They do have a happy hour later in the day with free chips and salsa, so perhaps that is a better bet.

New owners, new staff, lousy food and service. The owners stand around, never talk and look like deers in headlights. When they first opened it was a pleasure to go there, always greeted by an energetic staff that seemed to know everyone’s name, now it has the feel of the soup kitchen from Seinfeld exact the food is canned and processed rather then fresh. Save your money

I had a great burger cooked just the way I ordered it. My man had the buffalo wings, plentiful portion. The service was friendly and awesome.

Took almost 20 mins for and egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. Which they made wrong. When i called to inform them about the mistake, i got asked, in a very nasty tone, «what do you want me to do about it?» She also continued to tell me she was busy. Maybe she should get busy finding new customers because i wont be spending another dime there again –bad customer service and pricey.

Was trying to eat at the sushi restaurant two doors down but they were closed so I ended up at Beech grill. Was greeted by Mila who has an excellent personality and is very friendly. Decided on the hot chicken wings and a lemonade one thing I will say the prices of drinks are a little out of line I’m paying $ 3 and some change for a bottle of Minute Maid 20 ounce lemonade I think I could get three containers of that at the grocery store for that price. Not discouraging I’m going to enjoy my chicken wings the best I wings were cooked to order. which I really like. Can’t beat hot wings cooked to perfection as you order. Bonus for you 3 pm breakfast lovers they serve breakfast all day. so get your griddle on if you so desire. Mila gave me two different dipping sauces the regular standard blue cheese and also a mango habanero salsa sauce and boy is that hot and really packed a punch when I put my wing into it. I also like that the celery is not skinny little sticks but nice size pieces. I hate when restaurants cut celery so skinny that even french fries are fatter than that. That isn’t the case here. The wings could have been a tiny bit hotter as I did order them as hot wings my lips are stinging just a tiny bit as opposed to really burning with some good hot sauce but it did not warrant taking the star off seeing that everything is cooked to order and is delicious and large portions I can’t complain. If I’m down this way again I would come back and eat for sure.

Delicious coffee both hot and iced. We both ordered a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and you can tell they were made fresh from a local bakery. Very fresh and simple egg, cheese, ham or bacon. Was very homemade. Cute place with very friendly staff.

Excellent food, laid back atmosphere, very clean. The service is not superb, but its decent. That matters not to me. Parking is crazy on the weekend, but well worth the hassle. Enjoy!

Great location, with friendly service. Ordered a fourteen dollars bacon cheeseburger, plus onion rings and a bottled soda(no fountain) for about $ 25 all in. Got a regular cheeseburger and sent it back, no big deal accidents happen. Correct burger was just a frozen party, ordered medium but received on the dry side of well. Mayonnaise was packets. Onion rings were the«good» frozen ones. Overall way to overpriced for some restaurant supply type food.
