The first time i came here i was wowed! The calamari was amazing and the marinara was perfect. I was impressed with my wood grilled salmon it was delicious. Loved it so much i came back a week later for date night with my husband. Of course we ordered the calamari for appitizer. It was amazing as always. I ordered a grilled steak with asparagus and hubs ordered shrimp and scallops with green beans. My sausage and lentil soup was delicious and everything was perfect. We got our food and started to eat after about 5 mins my husband found a long black hair in his sauteed greenbeans. This made him completly lose his appetite. The manager was very apologetic and offered to remake the food but hubs was already sick to his stomach. He also offered a free desert and i chose the tiramisu. It was good. Besides finding a hair in the food it was good. Hopefully i can convince my husband to come back. 5 stars for food flavor i lowered it to 3 because of the hair.

I’ve been going to Carrabbas for at least 15 years, and the gradual decline of the quality of food and service is truly disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Bryan. The grilled chicken came out dry, not over cooked, but just not a good piece of meat. It was hard to cut with a steak knife. I can cut a watermelon into a dinosaur, so this had nothing to to with my ability to use a knife. The goat cheese and sundries tomato were fine, but there was not enough lemon butter to go around for both sides of the chicken breast. Was forever one of my favorite dishes but for the price jump this has seen, not at all worth while. As my side I upgraded to the lobster ravioli. The ravioli was good and you could see the chunks of lobster inside. Again, not a lot of sauce which means I got skimped, or it sat in the window too long. The bartender who took care of me did not impress. I usually sit at the bar because I know that it is typically the best way to get excellent service, but I regret not sitting at a table. I’m not sure if it was because I was eating alone, am a female, or WHAT made her think I was not as worthy of as good of service of as the rest of the bar, but count me out of coming here again.

I came here last weekend as a «nicer alternative to Olive Garden» to celebrate a school thing with my family and wasn’t necessarily disappointed, but certainly wasn’t wowed either. My chicken soup was delicious with a bit of black pepper spiciness… but I chomped down on not one, not two, but three chicken bones in my soup. I didn’t send it back, but I let the waitress know just in case there were old people or kids or something eating it. She was super nice and apologetic about it. I mean… I guess that means they use real chicken at least, right? I got the lasagna, which had great seasoning and spices — no complaints there. The waitress was nice… but a bit slow on the uptake. She only came back to check on our meal once after it was dropped off, so our glasses sat empty for a majority of the meal, and we didn’t get a bread refill until the very end, served with take home boxes. If she was super slammed, I’d get it, but the restaurant was surprisingly dead for a Saturday night. I’m pretty sure she only had two tables, but she spent most of her time tucked away, out of sight… maybe in the kitchen munching on the bread that was supposed to be coming to our table? Atmosphere was sort of bleh and unexciting. At the end of the meal, I left with the question, «How are they still open? I wonder if they’ll be here next year.» floating around in the back of my mind. Overall, for the price to food ratio, and all of the above listed reasons, we really would have just been better off at Olive Garden, after all. =-(

I am sooooo impressed with this location. Have been going here for years, ever since they opened. Did you know that after Hurricane Wilma even though they had no power Carrabas set up tables and grills in their parking lot and cooked all their remaining food before it went bad and gave it away for free? In fact, they not only fed my neighborhood but even the power companies that were here to help from other states. I chose to eat dinner here tonight for my birthday dinner. The Manager noticed that my husbands pork chops and my steak looked dry and overcooked and offered to have them redone. And because we had to wait for our food to be cooked again they offered me a free drink and when they learned it was my birthday they gave us a free dessert. Great customer service and food. Still my favorite place!

Ordered to go, and by the time I got home I realized it was the wrong food. Called the manager and was told they would take care of it. They never did. Second time I leave with the wrong food. Not ordering from there again

This location was featured on channel 10s dirty dining. The place had some many violations it was ordered shut. When the reporter can in to ask questions the manager on duty tried to say she knew nothing about the violations. How about admitting to the violations and explain they are correcting them ASAP. I will never go back there.

Service was very good, a little slow at first but understandably because we were out on the front patio. Food was excellent. A very good experience. Highly recommend.

This is my 100th review! I had a nice lunch consisting of vegetable soup– very good followed by excellent grilled chicken marsala with mushrooms, very tender although a little small even for lunch. It came with great italian bread with olive oil. They replenished the bread when it was getting low. I had a coke to go with my nice meal at Carrabba’s. I was very satisfied with the service and parking. The restroom was very clean. I would love to come back for another lunch or dinner. It was very good. I enyoy going out for a light lunch and it doesn’t have to be spectacular to be good.

Wow! I have seen Carraba’s restaurants in several places but never thought to stop in as I assumed it was just another chain. We went to the Pompano Beach location when we were in town visiting family and I was blown away. The host started out by taking great care of our children. He set them up to watch the pizzas being made and gave them pizza dough to play with, then ushered the adults to an actual table. He and the waitress were excellent with the kids. As for the food — one of the best meals of my life and I do not joke about that. We started with their fried zucchini«fries» which were really good. I then ordered a mahi dish that had artichoke and capers and it was amazing. Seriously, it was the best mahi dish I have ever had, with fantastic flavors and cooked to absolute perfection. To close out the meal, we ordered a chocolate dessert that had a brownie, mousse, and whipped cream. It was so airy and light yet decadent. I left the restaurant in absolute disbelief. I expected to go in and have a decent meal and then forget the place. But it was memorable in all the right ways.

Everything was very tasty. We had a pitcher of blackberry sangria that was enough for 4 glasses and cost $ 33(and had equal amounts of ice and sangria). I think it was a little overpriced considering there was so much ice, but the sangria was delicious. The bread that you get before appetizers is served with olive oil and herbs, which is awesome. We had fried calamari, chicken soup(my favorite soup I’ve had at a restaurant to date, it is super spicy), lobster ravioli, and vodka sauce with chicken. Everything was delicious, and our server was great.

Food is always good, but not great. Depends on what time you go there. Sometimes they are sort on servers so certain parts of the restaurant are not open. As long as they’re not to busy or under staffed you will enjoy it here

Is it standard chain food? Yes of course. So don’t expect a 5 star Michelin rated restaurant. Take it for what it is and rate it based on the class that it’s in. I’ve dined here twice in the past week. Was it mind blowing food? No ! But It was damn good and the staff was even better. The manager has an heavy accent but we was all kinds of wonderful. The kitchen staff was so dedicated to good food and service and also very entertaining. This location is now my fave carrabas and will continue to drive out of my way to eat here when I’m in the mood.

Not nearly as fancy inside as the Miami Beach location, nor does it attract the same class of people, but the food and service were still great, it’s just not as upscale. It’s still better than Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill, in my opinion in respect to quality and ambiance. Don’t forget to get your complimentary bread and pesto sauce. The pesto sauce is delicious!

A complete disappointment. Now I remember why we never went back. Also, we ordered online for take out. The flavors are good, but… We asked if the pizza would be better if we got 2 kids pizzas or one normal pizza. They said either would work well. The kids pizza looked like a 7″ soft taco with some cheese sprinkled on it. One was supposed to be pepperoni and the other cheese. They were both cheese. We received the wrong dressings from what we ordered. The Johnny rokko salad was very small and overpriced and the portions were very small and overpriced. Maybe I’m just having a bad day or something, but this dinner was very disappointing.

Carrabba’s is sometimes wrongly assumed of being similar to the Olive pot or the Macaroni Stove, but the quality of their ingredients and the style in which they prepare their food is not at all to be compared. I personally like the Marsala and capatavi pasta, but whatever you choose you will feel good to know it is made right then. If you cannot find a seat go to the stools over the cooking area and watch them make your dishes from there. They serve you fresh bread with an erb mixture an olive oil which is consistently tasty. The soups are a better option with your meal compared to the salad and if you have a specific way you want something prepared they are perfect to custom any dish you throw at them. Overall I have been happy with this location the serval times I have been there. Good staff and good food consistent with the others!

For a chain restaurant, Carabbas is very good. I especially love their easy take-out service and the food is very tasty. I often get carry out because of the convenience and how nice everything is packed, they even include their delicious bread, a packet of olive oil and their secret spice mix and a packet of grated Parmesan cheese. — Call-in and place your order or place online and tell them the type of car you have, — Park in one of the marked Take-out spots — they immediately bring out the order to your car — Pay and you are on your way — love it. I know other chains have also added dedicated parking for take out but I am yet to find anyone as efficient as Carabbas. Their minestrone soup is delicious, probably my favorite minestrone around, and I am a big fan of the steak Marsala served with fettuccine Alfredo — yum!

I’m on their email list so I got invited to a party. They wanted us to try samples of food to get our opinion before adding to menu. We tried appetizers, entrees, and a dessert. Bread and olive oil was also provided with the seasoning.

With the exceptions of Capital Grill and Carrabba’s I generally avoid chain restaurants, but I’ve eaten at a lot of Carrabba’s locations from Rochester, New York down through Daytona Beach and at this particular location at least a dozen times and have always been pleased. Their service is top notch, friendly and polite. The place appears clean, has a pleasant décor and above all I’ve found the food to be some of the freshest around having clean distinctive flavors and texture. Indeed, I’ve found much better Italian at Carrabba’s than I have in Italy, particularly in restaurants even specializing in Southern Italian cuisine in Rome(when it comes to Italian food, Rome has the worst) and then at nearly a 10th less in price. For my meal tonight I started with a cosmopolitan cocktail which was served up with perfect lemon peel twist which turned out to be one of the better cosmos I had in the area. Then, a Caesar salad topped with blue cheese. The romaine was crisp, the flavors clear and the other cheeses enhancing the overall flavors. For an appetizer I had the mussels marinara. The mussels were tasty and the marinara zesty. Then, for my entrée the veal Marsala which was topped with mushrooms along with a Marsala sauce having a good, decent rich flavor about it. My meal ran $ 27.95, since I hit the half priced Happy Hour drink special, which I would consider to be a darn good value for the quality of food I had.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Der Service war freundlich und konnte bei der Auswahl der Speisen helfen. Die Preise sind im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Restaurants wirklich gut und bezahlbar. Wir werden dort wieder hingehen!
