This is not a farmers market as one might think of it – it’s got some produce stands, but it primarily consists of permanently fixed food vendors who prep either a variety of enticing snacks and sweets, or full meals served hot and fresh. While I will say I’ve never had anything particularly mind blowing here(and I’ve sampled a LOT of the vendors) you really can’t beat the killer variety and atmosphere; they’ve got anything you might be in the mood for. This place is great for groups because everyone can browse around for a while, then you can all meet up at a table and enjoy your various meals without having to worry about splitting checks or agreeing on one location. Not to mention there are a couple little bars where you can get a beer to go. Really fun, interesting place with some great people watching. Be warned that this is a tourist destination, so it will be fairly crowded and noisy. But in a place like this, that’s half the fun!

Always fun to stop by here when I’m in the area. I enjoyed coming on the weekdays as opposed to the weekends due to traffic and crowds. We wanted to go see The Grove and The Farmer’s Market so we parked by Farmer’s Market since you get 2hrs free with validation. At The Grove, saw Mario Lopez and Maria Menounos tape segments for Extra, which was fun. Bring cash for The Farmer’s Market… it’s just easier this way.

This is my one-stop shop for arabic food. Better than the others I’ve checked out, they’ve got great prices on vegetables, and a lot of the arabic staples and brands I like. My Honey is Lebanese, and he loves the humus and all the Cortas products, I love the shanklesh(when they have it), the large bottles of good olive oil, and the imported cured black olives, which are excellent(when they’ve got the right ones) What they have available changes depending onwhen they get a shipment from where, and honestly the spanish speaking fellow who’s usually behind the counter is the best, although the guys in the butcher department are really great, too. They’ve also got a great dairy selection and some of the best bread I’m able to find in the area.

An Arabic market that also caters to the local neighborhood in Pomona. Carries a lot of decent veggies at a great price, big tubs of olive oil, and Halal meat.
