Donut Club

Friendly service and delicious donuts. My first visit I came later in the day (2:30pm) and the donuts were not as fresh. Came back today around 10:30am. The donuts were so fresh and delicious! We got crumb twist, custard with chocolate glaze, and some regular frosting glazed. Will be back, over and over.

After a morning of quality time spent with my eldest son– Little League clinic, breakfast Phở, a trip to the reptile shop, and burritos for lunch– we decided to cap off the A.M. with a donut. Intent on trying a new place, I elected to pull in to the first donut shop I saw. As luck would have it, that was the Donut Club on Foothill in Pomona.
Luck, it seems, can be a snarky dinosaur. Upon entering, Donut Club Lady welcomed me and my son with a smile. Good start…
The boy pointed through the glass at the chocolate on chocolate, a simple glazed, and some cute Valentines Day themed donut holes. We’re rolling now…
The price? $ 2.60… A quick run to the car for change so I could throw a buck on for a tip, cause that’s how I roll when people are nice to my kid…
And then we took a respective bite of the Valentines donut holes. In the words of noted donut afficianado, Homer J. Simpson: «DOHH!!!»
Stale. Like, two or three day old stale. That telltale Breaky on the outside and spongy/​styrofoam-​ey on the inside. I tried another, thinking maybe one just got past the nightly case cleaning…
It was worse. I didn’t say anything, and my kid didn’t seem to mind. The lady was really nice, like I said, and it was 12:00 noon when we got there. We may happen back there to give it another try sometime, but I won’t make a point of it.

Best place to eat donuts!!! They were delicious going in as they were delicious coming out really easy and smooth like liquid .

Ordered donuts from here for the first time on Wednesday. They were, well… Donuts. The price was good and when I saw that they had an assortment of other goodies (croissant breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches) I decided to give it a try.
The BLT on croissant bread. Is okay. Nothing I’d crave, but still did it’s job in filling my aching tummy. The reason there are 3 stars, is due to the quality of food being average. Nothing special. Also, the customer service was pretty bad. I’m not too keen on someone being on a phone call on speaker, the whole time they are taking and preparing my order. Just seems rude. I think the 3 people behind me may have felt the same.

Good donuts. Nice people. Good prices.
