I have to say, the food here is great! Good pizza, great soup and salad. My only comment to improve this is to have sunny outdoor seating which isn’t possible on their deck since it is covered by The Chowder House upstairs. Friendly service and really solid food — a small gem in a tiny seaside town.

Where do I begin? My wife went to the bathroom and mentioned to the owner that they are out of paper and it is extremely dirty. She immediately recommends the public bathroom at the pier. She was right on that one! We ordered our pizza and hang around. We ate outside and asked if they have forks and knives. The lady owner turns around, walked away and says yes of course we do, we are a restaurant. Good grief where did that snotty remark come from? The $ 26.00 dollar medium seize pizza was the worsted pizza ever. Hardly any ingredients where was the sausage? We returned the pizza and did not want a refund as I guess she needs the money more than we do. The owner and I kid you not called my wife and the cook stood right next to her a c u n t, unbelievable we are stunned. We should have known how bad this place was as we sat outside for 2 hours enjoying the view of the pacific and they sold one pizza. Saturday night 6:10 pm and nobody there, I know now why. The reason they still have three stars is from years and years ago. Look at most of the more current reviews, just a garbage pit !!!

Worst place ever. Restaurant is very dirty. My son sat down and put his hands in a pile of dirt on the table. We were a party of 5 and planned on spending«some» money here. When ordering we were told they were out of ingredients to the point we might as well have ordered cheese pizza. So we decided to leave in which the owner/older lady at the register clapped followed by a loud«wooooooohooo». I am not sure how this place stays in business with that kind of attitude and after reading all the negative reviews I am still wondering. There really is no reason to drive the 1mile off Highway 1 to eat here. Uppercrust Pizza in Gualala is worth the extra time in the car. Do not waste your time.

I wanted to like it, I really did. But they didn’t have fresh mozarella, nor ricotta, and the sauce tasted canned. Service was okay, if you don’t mind the service standing *right* next to your table in an otherwise empty place so she could check her cellphone. And it wasn’t cheap either. If they had all the ingredients for their pizza, I could overlook the service. This part of Point Arena is really interesting, but if what you want is good pizza then don’t get your hopes up.

Wow!!! All I can say is that I have never received such horrible service in my life!!! I hope management reads this and does something to improve upon his/her staff. Or, if the people who helped me were management – YIKES!!! There were two women working, one was making pizza in the back and sounded nice. She kept on saying, «I’ll be right with you.» We took a step outside and came back in to order, and it was a different woman at the counter. We ordered two soups of the day(and she definitely didn’t leave any warm/fuzzy hospitable impressions – almost seemed pissed to be working and, or having to help me). The place was not busy; it was about 3 in the afternoon; 2 tables were occupied…30 minutes later, my husband went to check on our order and returned saying, «I don’t think we’re going to get our soup. I just asked how long, and the lady said she was working on it, turned her back, and walked away.» We waited another 10 minutes, and all three of us went inside this time. I asked how long our order would be, and she said they were working on it. I inquired more, «do you know how much longer, is it being made?» She wouldn’t give me an answer other than, «it’s being made and you can cancel the order if you want.» So, we cancelled it, and she flipped a lid, became belligerent and, started waving her arms and shouting, «Well, I’m still going to charge you!» My husband told her she was rude and needed to get a better attitude, at which point, she said, «I don’t give a F#*! what you think – go ahead, and hit me up on Unilocal!!» I couldn’t believe it! Frightening! Steer clear—

My first two restaurant choice were closed so ended up here. Ordered a margherita pizza simple not alot of ways to screw this up right? Well somehow this so called restaurant managed to do so. 45 minutes later the absolute poorest excuse for pizza I had ever seen. Dry hard crust with a a few dabs of cheese. Scattered red micro sized pieces of what I think was at one time tomato not sure. I did thankfully order some of their garlic knots which weren’t half bad filled up those. The pizza however received a two paw rating from my dogs but then they think cat shit is the ultimate gourmet treat. Judging by my observation during my, 45 min there locals seem to get the good stuff.

Like the fact that they had a gluten free crust. The red sauce was not to my taste. But the pepperoni was good good and the pizza was cooked well.

Good pizza, good service, great location. We were staying at the Warfmasters Inn and didn’t want to drive. We had ate upstairs the night before, see my review for that. I am intolerant to gluten and my husband wasn’t too hungry so we ordered the crustless pizza. It was a bit smaller than I expected, but good. Meats we good, sauce was good, I didn’t see any ricotta cheese and it was skimpy on the motzerella. We called ahead and ordered to go, then climbed up a hill to a lovely little ocean lookout with picnic tables yo eat it. Their patio is nice too though. Service was nice and friendly. I called at 620 on a Friday night any our food was ready in 25 min. The lady who took my order was nice, so were the two young men who helped me when I got there. I read a lot of negative reviews about service, but my experience was good. It might just take a friendly attitude on the customers part. That’s pretty typical for tourist spots like this.

Pizza was excellent. Very California style. Had the chipotle bliss. Shrimp and garlic looked great too. If you want ambiance this is not the place for u but foods great and it matches the feel of the dock. A working mans dock. Staff were very friendly and casual but down to earth.

Gotta say that this place makes a pretty mean pizza. My favorite so far is The Farm with pesto sauce — I vacation in this area about 3 times a year and always eat here at least once! They also got some beer on tap which definitely doesn’t hurt the pizza eating experience: P

The place was clean but dated, older tables, table clothes, & dimly lighted. The staff was nice & friendly. We order the KITCHENSINK, a combination pizza, fresh tomato sauce, pepper’s, olives, tomatoes, pepperoni, sausage, onions, canadian bacon,(we added shrimp). It had a thin crust, which was crispy & crunchy, more than enough for the two of us, 12 slices for a large, yummy, pizza. We were stufted &took several slices with us. Better than average, we enjoyed it. We will return if we are in that area again.

Heard decent reviews about this place as it was very close to the Wharf Master hotel in Point Arena. We tried it out and were very disappointed with the quality of pizza we received, crust was dry, toppings seemed to be overcooked, the sauce was very minimal as we had to ask for more. As hungry as we were, we expected the first bite to satisfy our tummies but it was the opposite. Not sure if the cook that day was different from other days, or maybe a different pizza might have been better but we were not satisfied as we chose not finish the pizza. The overall quality was just not there as I have had many great tasting pizza’s throughout California. Sadly I will not be coming back here.

Sadly the pizza served here was the first pizza that I had no desire to eat! We ordered a pesto veggie pizza and it had zero flavor and nothing about it was good. The crust was dry and tasted old, there was hardly any sauce and the poor veggies were dry and overcooked. We were hungry after our long drive and having a pizza was supposed to be a savory splurge, instead it was so bad, we tossed most of it after a few slices and joked about giving the cardboard box a try. We ordered take out and attempted to eat it at the picnic table outside of the restaurant by the beach but after one bite, it was so dry I thought some extra pesto sauce might help. When I went back inside and asked for some sauce, the lady behind the counter said they normally charge for extra sauce and everything was already put away. I was about to let her know how bad the pizza was, but she gave me a small container just to get rid of me and instead of sharing my thoughts, I left and hoped the pesto would help make it taste better. I was shocked that the pesto sauce didn’t have any flavor, how does that happen! Fortunately we had plenty of snacks and tamales to warm up back at the hotel. I’m not sure what the specific challenges are for this establishment but the location is beautiful. Ample parking by the beach and pier, attracts surfers that I am sure work up a healthy appetite after a surf session and plenty of visitors like ourselves who stay at the Wharf Master’s Inn just up the hill(which was booked at 90% capacity) It would be great to see this local business succeed and offer great tasting pizza that visitors could boost about and look forward to returning to next time they return to the area.

Simple pizza. Unremarkable crust. I presume canned sauce with red peppers or something similar. The pepperoni +1 was very good though. Good service +1. The only pizza joint around(I believe), though, so you’ve really got little choice if you want pizza.

Was kind of disappointed to read the more recent reviews about the service after having a good experience here a couple of years ago. Came back for a Saturday lunch and have no complaints. It was not exactly hopping on a rainy Saturday but we received friendly service and decent food. They were a little short on draft beer selections(must have been a busy Friday night!) but no overall complaints. The slice of pizza I ordered was actually half of a small pizza — 3 slices of fresh, hot sausage pizza out of the oven. Had to wait 20 minutes but it was freshly prepared as I saw them tossing the dough. A good deal for $ 4.50 and excellent crust. My wife had the chicken pesto sandwich again. A tad pricey at $ 9.95 — it came with a very small salad. Sandwich was decent — pesto was a tad overdone with the garlic.

Avoid this place!!! When I came by this place, there was 2 people working. The person who«helped» me was the older of the 2 women. Maybe 40’s hair in a pony tail dark hair. Just Incase she is not the owner, and someone wants to do something about it. I first went in for a bite to eat, but was not sure how much time I had. I approached the counter, and shortly after another man came in behind me. She chose to help the man behind me before she even acknowledged my presence. After she helped him with his token, I asked her how long a small pizza would be, I was told a half hour. Then I asked how long a meatball sandwich would take, and she rolled her eyes and told me anything I wanted would be at least 30 mins. So I bought a couple sodas and left. The family found a nice place to hang out and wanted to stay a bit, so I went back to get a pizza. Being a chef, and noticing their equipment, I knew it would likely take a lot less time. I go back in, and a customer with her child was getting ice cream. The woman helped them, then asked what I needed. I tried to order the meatball, and she told me they were out, turned her back and walked away. The woman with her ice cream looked at me with shock and asked the employee what she would recommend. The employee looked at her and said«well if he wants the meatball there is nothing I can do about it». The woman with the ice cream left the store immediately. I still stood there shocked, and the employee turned to the other employee and started bad mouthing the woman with the ice cream. I looked at the employee and told her if she has a problem with customers I will go somewhere else. She looked straight at me and told me «alright bye» then dismissed me with her hand. I left, and informed the woman with ice cream the employee was bad mouthing her inside. She shrugged and told me that this place has been going down hill for a while now., and had never seen anyone treat customers so rudely in her life. Bottom line horrible service, and the one pizza I saw was over cooked.

The food was good. Special mention was the Caesar salad was very good. The service was excellent and friendly. We had pizza and appetizers. The local beer on taps was pretty good too. My only complaint was it was a bit pricy. We paid $ 78 for a large pizza, fries, a small salad, an appetizer and 2 pitchers of beer. Seemed high, but all in all we enjoyed the place. They only had 3 flavors of ice cream for the Cream part of Pizza and Cream. I think they could use more variety, but not required. I would recommend this place for sure.

I had to think about this place for a couple days. It’s just odd. Very local. A little Twin Peaks/Northern Exposure kind of vibe. One woman running the show. She’s not unfriendly exactly… more reserved. And since she’s the only pizza and ice cream game in town she can do it how she likes. She has specials on the board. Sort of. No prices. I don’t really know what our dishes cost. We ordered at the counter. Hubby got a chicken pesto sandwich. On one board it said it came with salad. She didn’t mention that until she brought it. Salad came on the side already dressed. Princess got the cheese ravioli special, no sauce, with a green salad and garlic bread. I had the penne special with a caesar salad(she asked if I wanted anchovy or not), garlic bread. The penne had spinach, tomato, alleged mushrooms and baked on cheese. It was a little dark around the edges. Not burned. It was actually pretty tasty. She asked if we wanted anything else. We did. Ice cream. Come up when you’re ready, she said. Hubby got double waffle cone. So did Princess. I got a single. Then she rang us up. Said«pasta Monday» and«regular one scoop cones are included with the meal» so she charged for hubbys and Princess’ extra scoop and the two waffle cones. I wonder if she made that up on the spot. It wasn’t on any signage and we didn’t hear about it until after we decided to have ice cream, we ordered, and I was paying. Weird, right? Dinner $ 34. Plus tip. This was an odd little outing. Not bad. Lots of people watching. Cute resident cat. View of boat harbor. Some outside tables. Kinda entertaining.

Patti the owner noticed my Unilocal comment about the meatballs needing a little salt and voila! The meatballs are now absolutely PERFECT! Best meatballs ever with hints of basil and just the right amount of garlic… vampires beware! On Mondays if you order the pasta special you also get a dish of Humbolt ice cream. just finished off the richly creamy coconut. Pizzas and Cream is a little off Highway One, but well worth the quick drive down Port Road to the Point Arena pier area. The cove itself s beautiful with lots of interesting geologic features — like a 40 foot band of oil sand along the cliff at the northwest side. Its also one of the better surf spots in NorCal.
