This company went out of business 2 weeks after they sold me a gift certificate that my husband and I gave to very dear friends for their anniversary. How sleazy of them to sell a certificate knowing that they aren’t going to be open in the future. I originally thought this restaurant was very good as we went when it first opened and the food was great. But, it has closed it’s doors a few months after opening and I have never been so embarrassed as I was when I found out that my friends tried to use the gift that we gave them and the place was closed up tight.

I was hired by the«Cunniff» staff and sidekick ex-stripper Brenda to be a server for this establishment. There were inconsistencies from the beginning pertaining management with basic simple organizational tasks. During the waitstaff orientation, one of the hired waters recognized the owner Sean from a card game he had been to the night prior. In a nutshell, the waitstaff were set up to fight over sections, listen to Brenda’s narcissistic rage attacks for having to pick up an empty plate that the hired busboy did not clear off of the table. In my opinion, neither flaccid Brenda or Sean has any business fronting as if they have an attractive venue for people. On several occasions, I noticed Sean(who usually sat at his bar stool in the corner), et up and approach customers in the the most obtuse manner with comments like ‚“what are you still doing here?“ OMG I felt embarrassed for him.

Brendan Michaels owner, Shawn Cunniff cheated his employees out of several weeks of paychecks, bounced checks to venders and took your money for gift certificates before closing his doors on Wednesday. The attorney general has an open investigation into this business. Call Scrooge on his cell to wish him a happy holiday .(774) 203‑6101

At last. Plymouth has a restaurant with excellent steaks. Don’t get me wrong, everyone has a steak on their menu. Brendan Michaels has a wide selection of steaks on their menu, ranging from sirloin to filet mignon. In fact, I think they’ve found the missing niche in the Plymouth restaurant market. We ordered two steaks tonight: the 12 oz. sirloin and the 8 oz. Angus strip steak. The sirloin arrived perfectly medium rare, juicy, and tender. The 8 oz. strip arrived tragically thin, eliminating all reasonable possibility that it could be medium rare. As I cut in, my fears were confirmed. The wait staff and owner were extremely courteous and made me feel very comfortable sending the steak back.(The owner stated that they were likely going to remove this size from the menu because the supplier was sending large, thin steaks instead of small, thick steaks that would be more forgiving on the grill). I upgraded to the next-larger size, to give the chef more steak to work with, and my 12 oz. re-do arrived a few short minutes later. It was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and had a wonderful char-grilled flavor. I heartily recommend this restaurant for a delicious steak and excellent service. I’ve found my new go-to place for a great steak in Plymouth!

I just had a very good lunch on Saturday. It was my mothers birthday. I got there a little early and asked about doing a candle with dessert. They offered a dessert on the house. All of the staff was very accommodating and nice. For lunch we got a burger, steak tip salad and the portobello panini. Everything was delicious with large portions. My steak tips were amazing and cooked perfectly. Both the panini and burger were delicious and came with these kind of fat curly fries, so good! Once we finished eating they brought out tiramisu. Very tasty. The restaurant was clean with a few different areas to sit. They also have two tea over the bar to watch the game. They are now doing Sunday Brunch. We heard their Bloody Mary’s are good. I will return. They made my mom feel special on her birthday!

We decided to try this place since it was on the restaurant week list. The experience was terrible. We ordered 3 appetizers, it took almost an hour for them to come & we were not very impressed with any of them. 3 people at our table ordered the prime rib special, a half hour later, the waitress came back to tell us there was no prime rib left. We should have been notified a lot sooner. They also ran out of sides, and our food was brought out with different sides than we ordered, we were not notified of this beforehand & any potential food allergies were totally disregarded. All the steaks we got were over cooked, & the filet mignon was borderline inedible, we had to saw through it with a steak knife & it was hard to chew. With restaurant week, we were offered free dessert &15% off entrees. They ran out of almost all desserts except crème Brulee & forgot to take the 15% off our bill, which took 20 minutes to arrive. When we talked to the manager about our experience, she listened to us & walked away. She never appologized, it was very rude. I’m on my giving this 2 stars because the duck & rib eye were good & our waitress was trying her best despite the issues in the kitchen. But based on the horrible experience I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone. For a new business, you would think management would want to make things right with unsatisfied customers, and if her rude & unresponsive demeanor is any reflection on this business, then I want no part of it. We were there for over 3 hours, we sat at 730 and walked out the door at 1045. A simple apology from the MOD would have sufficed.

We were in Plymouth and asked the front desk for recommendations for dinner. The most interesting sounding was this restaurant. We were glad we tried it. We were seated by a friendly hostess. We checked out the wine list and there were several nice French wines including a Puligny Montrachet but we ended up with an excellent Albarino. I had a wedge salad which was ok despite a brown spot on it. The mussel appetizer was good. My wife had a scallop and beet salad which she declared the best beet salad ever. She had shrimp linguini and loved it but couldn’t finish it. We had no room for dessert or after dinner drinks. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The place is great but priced commensurate with quality, that is you pay a fair price for good food and wine. It is new and I hope it develops a following.
