I needed a place to grab something quick for my husband and son. It was late, around 3ish, and our favorite bakery has closed. Anyways, the husband and son decided to grab a sub and Unilocal pointed us here. Going in to an average 3 ½ stars establishment is always a gamble. From my experience following comments of fellow Unilocalers, they have rarely lead me to the wrong direction. However, Plymouth lack of a good seafood place, from our countless experiences, make us stay far far away from all the seafood restaurants in the area. Walking into the restaurant, we noticed how quiet it is. But given that it was past lunch time, we figured what the heck and took a gamble anyway. The first thing we noticed was the lack of AC in the restaurant. Thankfully, it was a mild day and we didn’t mind it at all. What caught our eyes were the dessert and bread displays inside the restaurant. Oh my Lord, so many desserts and freshly baked breads to choose from. My husband went for the meatball subs and couldn’t stop raving about the freshly baked rolls and real Mozzarella cheese they used. Many sub shops substitute Mozzarella with Provolone, and he was pleasantly surprised that Bella Piazza does not cut corners with the cheese. The boy got himself a BLT and he approved. He loved the bread rolls a lot. His direct quote, «Way better than subway’s» I couldn’t resist to bring home the 3 for $ 1 freshly baked French rolls, and a few donuts for the family. Everyone loves the baked goods. The only thing I can say is that the place needs a lot of TLC. Maybe remodel the seating area in the restaurant and central AC will help. The young girl working at the register was nice and helpful. We will definitely be back for more subs, bread rolls, and donut thingy. Given that this place is on Main St in Plymouth, I thought the prices were very affordable and the quality of the food was very good.

So… the food was really good, but the service was horrible! The waitress was lost, confused, and frustrated even though there was only two tables full. So disappointing

Ordered a steak bomb sub and pepperoni calzone. Both are very good. Took a few minutes longer to make than they originally said, but whatever. The employee I talked to was friendly. I’ll be checking out this place again.

I was a loyal Stevies customer for 8 years or so, but after eating bellas for the first time I never went back.(SORRYSTEVIES). Their steak and cheese sub is the best in plymouth, and I’ve tried them all. They have these things I call«Pinecones» because I can’t pronounce what they’re really called. Ask for them! They have some really good desserts and some really freaky desserts that literally terrify me. Flan is demon spawn. Their caramel cake is good, their tirimisu(sp?) Is awesome. Their pizza is fantastic but tastes weird if you let it get cold and try to reheat it. I don’t know why people are saying their overpriced. The pricing is very reasonable.

I order their delivery occasionally. The real winner from them is the deserts.

The food here is not terrible all the time. It’s over priced all the time though. I order dinner there last night(their chicken parm sandwich is good) for me and the Mrs. It was 6:30pm. I was told delivery would be 45 min, no big deal, we could wait. 8pm comes around, I give them a call to see what the story was. The girl tells me that it busy and she forgot to put our order in. FORGOTTOTPUTOURORDERIN! Her only job is to put our order in! Anyway, I told her not to bother and ate a bowl of cereal instead. They are off my list of places to order from.

For 2 years we have been searching for a great pizza place and finally found this place! We’ve ordered 4 pizzas from them and all of them were outstanding!

Consumer be aware. Do not to take out from this place. They promise to be on time but there are always at least 45 minutes late which food is ice cold and full of grease !!! I blew over $ 30 including tipping the driver which begged me not to leave where he works and knows me very well because I have ordered from them over six months hoping it would be my new takeout place but I guess not. I tip the driver above the amount just because I felt bad because he repeatedly begged me not to leave the place that he worked at and he delivered my food. He told me it would never happen again which I do not believe because is not and his hands because he is only a driver that is up to management and the peoplethat are supposed to be professional ensuring that their consumers and customers get their food properly and in the time that they were promised to have it and the food being hot which it never is. Time for me to find another restaurant to order from. I asked speak to a manager or owner at the time at this place and they had no comment. it is come to light that this place is not the place for me which I am a business owner and would never treat my customers the way but I have been treated by them and this is not the first. Consumer be aware when you order takeout. management needs to have more drivers and present now that answers the phonespeak English so that way orders can be properly processed otherwise you are wasting your time and will be deeply disappointed heads down on this one it’s not good

I was craving a lunchtime slice of Pizza on Main St. in Plymouth and followed the reviews — yechh. Old pizza, soggy crust, too salty, gummy texture, sketchy patrons, etc. What you might expect to find at 3AM in a not very busy gas station. Maybe the subs are ok, but the pizza by the slice was definitely not ok.

It’s true that the bread is unique and very fresh; however, I ordered a chicken parm and felt the bread to filling ratio was way off… more bread than filling. The flavor was decent, but I wouldn’t order it again. I think maybe the bread would suit a deli sandwich better if it was well-filled.

Let’s start out with ‘the pizza was actually good.’ Uh-oh, it’s 6:30pm and we are the only customers. What are we missing? This is scary. Unfortunately, the waste of money working the order counter almost made us leave with her inability to answer basic questions like how many garlic bread pieces per order, how many pieces on the cheese bread etc.(She mentioned she had only worked there 5 months so she was new. Um, newsflash, 5 days would have been understandable, maybe 5 months should be more familiar. We decided the good pizza reviews were worth giving it a try. The description of the garlic bread should be «day-old sliced baguette with butter(maybe even margarine) that has little or no garlic at all, served with a thin, underwhelming warm tomato sauce for dipping.» I needed one of the 2 pizzas the 5 of us ordered with ‘no sauce’ for my picky SOB kid that wants it that way, and the lady asks me if that was the ‘white sauce.’ I said ‘no sauce’ at all and then she suggests butter or olive oil, and I said ‘nothing.’ She said they can’t just put cheese on dough, so I suggested that was indeed possible, at least everywhere else I’ve been to get pizza for this particular freak-devil-child of mine. I asked her if mozzarella cheese didn’t melt on dough in Massachusetts or if somehow it just wouldn’t stick in her part of the world and run onto the floor, but then I think maybe she trusted me suddenly because she stopped trying to educate me on what I needed. Pizza arrived at the table where we had an empty shaker of something resembling garlic powder residue, so I reached for the other empty shaker of similar substance on the next table, wait, I said it was empty. I go to brainiac at counter to ask for red chili flakes and Parmesan cheese. Too bad because they were out of Parmesan. Whoa, out of Parmesan?!? I’m pretty sure that is the one ingredient that lasts the longest in that building! In fact, I don’t know if Parmesan even expires at all, so why not order plenty? I mean, isn’t this stuff aged for a year-and-a-half before you even get it? Maybe you can get away with running out on a Sunday night after a huge weekend, but this was an off-season Thursday. Thankfully there was a great reason reported by the river of knowledge up front = The owner’s wife just had a baby. Wow, so congratulations to them and at the same time, shame on them for hiring morons that can’t take care of the simplest of restaurant concepts. Hopefully their child gets better care than their restaurant. Tips for a more enjoyable experience: Call ahead and order take-out to limit your exposure to the service, make sure they have Parmesan before you order, and finally, stay away from the oily old bread, no matter what they tell you is on it. Let’s end this with ‘the pizza was actually good.’

Great sub place in Plymouth! In the myriad of places to go on Main St. in Plymouth I’m glad I tried Bella Piazza. We got 2 italians, a meatball parm, and a buff chicken calzone. The subs were awesome, and served on freshly baked bread(more of a sandwich than a sub, but I“m not complaining). The calzone was a solid buffalo chicken calzone, and a great size as well for the price. I may try out some other places in the area, but it’s good to know there is an above average eat-in/takeout joint that has reasonable prices! I’ll be back.

The sub was good. Very good. They messed up and put mayonnaise on my order when I specifically said NOT to so I can’t give full marks(oh how I hate mayonnaise), but for a small little place on the side of the street it was a damn fine sub at a good price.

Finally found good pizza in Plymouth! This place is great, the variety of toppings is wonderful and their pizza menu is different, lots of unusual suggestions. My husband and I have been searching for great pizza that doesn’t cost a fortune(upper crust!) and we finally found it. I lived in Florence for a while and this pizza reminds me of their pizza. Also, try their garlic bread with cheese, even the dipping sauce is great and homemade. The place is smallish, has a few tables and nice windows overlooking the street. We like the take out, food is delicious and prepared quickly. Keep an eye for coupons in the mailers, they usually have some good deals.

A quiet little pizza café that looked somewhat abandoned when we went inside. I’m always nervous when it’s dinner time and no other customers are visible, but decided to persevere. There’s no table service here beyond it being brought out to you after ordering at the counter. The lone employee seen was friendly and our pizza – half pepperoni, half red pepper – was delivered quickly. What a pizza it was! It was both saucy and cheesy with a nice spicy tang, but nothing overwhelming. Though it was coated with a fine sheen of oil, it wasn’t too much. The crust was thin but crisp; not like a cracker, but just enough to give the toppings support so they didn’t sag and ooze onto the plate. Overall, simply delicious. I’m surprised there weren’t more customers(only one other couple showed during our eating).

Holy good god. HOLYGOODGOD! I am a sub connoisseur, and this place may very well have me visiting Plymouth for no other reason than to eat a Bella Piazza sub. The restaurant is really more of a nice sub shop… little café tables to sit at, absolutely nothing fancy here, but I am surprised there isn’t a line out the door at all times for their subs alone. I ordered my weirdo sub(provolone and a little pepperoni with hot banana peppers, lettuce and tomato) which was greeted with a «wow, that sounds really good, maybe I will try that for lunch!» The counter person was extremely nice!(and I am sorry, but looking the way I do typically does not generate super friendly service from suburban college students– so I was amazed) She was equally kind to everyone that came in… even the lady who just wanted to use the bathroom. Anyway… ordered, paid… sat down at a little table in the window and was told that she would bring my sub to me. As it arrives I notice that it looks really weird(you will see what I mean in my picture), firstly its on an actual PLATE and secondly, its a very different type of sub roll. The next 5 – 7 minutes is a blur. I can’t recall anything other than an overwhelming sense of joy… and a longing for a larger stomach. My sub was done, Coke was finished and I was walking out the door. «how was it?!» «really good» «yay! well, have a good day!» best. sub. experience. ever.

I’m from Toronto, Canada, and I came here two years ago and I have never forgotten how great the pizza was. So when I found myself in Plymouth again a couple weeks ago, I sought out this place and ordered an entire pizza. It’s pizza perfection. Thin crisp, crust; extra cheesy; flavourful pepperoni. Loved every bite! Would love to try their sandwiches one day as their fresh buns looked amazing! In Toronto, there is no good pizza. It’s so disappointing. Wish Bella Piazza would expand north! :)

My husband and I tried Bella Piazza recently for the first time and were definitely pleased. We just popped in to grab takeout and the service was great — super friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer is that it was completely empty… and it’s a big space. This was around 8:00 on a Friday night. Maybe that’s late for dinner in Plymouth, who knows. A few people came by to pick up take out while we were there, so that made me feel better… but empty restaurants always discourage me. The pizza was solidly good — perfect amount of toppings, which seemed fresh, good sauce. We had their version of the margharita pizza, and another veggie choice with feta and artichoke hearts. The crust could have been a bit crispier, but that was all I could find to complain about. The salad was fine, with a completely average balsamic vinaigrette. I’d like to say we’d go back, and maybe we will if we’re in the area — but this pizza probably isn’t different enough from our other go-tos that are closer to home to bring us out of the way.

The subs here are to die for! I think what really makes them great is the bread, which seems to be fresh baked — crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. The pizza and cannoli’s are excellent too, but the subs here are probably the best I’ve ever had anywhere! Make sure to get it toasted!
