Help is super friendly, great local spot for breakfast, though their lunch is good standard fare as well. The dish to get here is the All American hash and eggs, enough for 2 – 3 people to eat, or one person to not eat for the rest of the day. Fantastic!

The best diner in downtown Plymouth, and just about the last one, with fine old establishments like the Mug and Muffin and the Standish Street Friendly’s only memories. The décor is eclectic(Americana reprints and replicas) and the portions are gigantic: by all means don’t overorder. As against that, the service is spotty, the food is average, and especially in-season, there’s ALWAYS a line, and sometimes a long one. Whenever I’m staying in Plymouth, this is the diner I patronize, but I’d wish for more options.

I do not typically post reviews however this deserves a bad one. This diner is not so all American. On a Saturday we waited about 15 or more minutes and finally got a seat at the counter. A booth was looking at least one hour away. No effort was made to clean off the dirty counters and at least offer us a cup of coffee. The two waitresses were obviously overworked and the kitchen was backed up. Just the same the two waitresses had the biggest ugly pusses on their face and were extremely rude to us. We simply asked for a cup of coffee and the waitress said, rudely said it’s gonna be a long while. ! My brother and I basically politely told the waitress she was rude and we will never come back here again. We got up and left. This is right here in Plymouth MA folks the largest tourist Town in America. Having worked in the restaurant business this is no way to treat customers since your business depends on reputation. No matter how busy and frustrating things got I always treated people with respect and patience. I would not patronize or recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff needs some definite people skills training.!! Stay away.

Best breakfast in plymouth by a mile. A staple of the downtown area for decades. Very generous portions, inexpensive, great Americana vibe with classic music playing. I no longer live in plymouth but every time I visit, I make a point to come in here for breakfast.

Dump… waitress coughing on her hand. Expired and watery maple syrup. Over priced coffee. Hard pass

Been coming here for years. Food is cheap, bomb if you’re hungover. Get the George!

Typical, average diner. Food is cheap, service is not so great. The only unique part is the décor, which consists of vintage memorabilia.

Love this place. Excellent hang over food and ridiculously affordable. The servers are awesome; but sometimes you are going to wait a bit, so don’t get fussy. It is a small mom and pop place so simmer down and enjoy the good coffee and The Herald. ALWAYS order the vegetable toast. OMG. Also, they close at 1 p.m. So get there by noon.

We go to brunch often, and there are a lot of great places in our area. Once we sat down, the service was quick and efficient. The food was just ok, nothing to write home about. The décor was, well, weird. We won’t be back. There are too many other great places to visit!

Food is Typical. Service is horrible. Rude waitresses who talked to each other instead of doing their job.

The food here was beyond greasy. There is diner food and there is greasy dirty griddle diner food. We came about 20 mins before they were closing. The waitress looked beyond annoyed. No smile no personality at all!

The homemade hash here is a+. It looks like a little hole in the wall but the food was delicious and the portions huge. Definitely a good value and the staff is really nice and attentive.

We walked in, and there was a line waiting to be seated. Which is fine. It was a beautiful Saturday morning in August. The breakfast food looked delicious and homemade. My problem is the staffs terrible lack of awareness of providing service. There were several tables that had been waiting to pay up and settle their bills for over 10 minutes. This would’ve opened up several tables. Yet the staff would glance over at the door where everyone was waiting, and continue to stand around. We waited 15 minutes with no tables settled up, no one from the wait list seated. Gave up and walked down the street to Cornerstone Café which I gave a 5 star review.

Love it here! My sister lives in Plymouth and we’ll meet her and her husband there for breakfast… We may have to move to Plymouth so it’s not such a hike for great breakfast food. The All American Hash is artery clogging goodness and the chicken fried steak(my hubs fav) is well worth the heart attack you may experience after eating it ;) We’ve yet to have a bad meal; the only downside is it’s popularity so for an impatient person like myself, I’m quickly annoyed. But it’s well worth it!

Holy Friggin A on food portions. I felt like I had lost a strong man competition after eating here. My stomach is a girly man you see, and there was no possible way to finish my meal. This place is serious chow time for breakfast. First off, this place smells like a Waffle House when you walk in. Some may scowl at this remark, but being from the South, Waffle House smells awesome. The breakfast menu is crazy big. I decided on having the Thunderbird Sandwich with homefries. Now the eggs are omelet style so it was a tad comical to see this huge omelet protruding from my English Muffin. My mom had The George. It was 2 Eggs, 2 Sausage Links, 4 Pieces of Bread and a Mountain of Homefries. It was epically big. They make their own veggie bread and it was very good. The gravy too is great. Big pieces of sausage everywhere! I would stop by this place on vacation next time. It was fun to eat at and the service was good!

Ah, the All American. I love this place. Located in the perfect area of Plymouth, especially for the theme of the restaurant! I’m the kind of person who never gets breakfast. When going out for breakfast, I always get lunch. Breakfast is just not my thing. Except when I come here. My favorite breakfast of all time is their California Eggs(#6). A toasted english muffin, with half a plate’s worth of broccoli, two poached eggs, and smothered in cheese sauce. And it comes with homefries, too! So much food… and it is incredible. They always cook the eggs perfectly, and I love how much broccoli they give you. Plus, they are very generous with the cheese sauce. I’m typically the kind of person who asks for more sauce/dressing/whatever on the side… not here! It is perfect. And everything else that they have is just as good. They have great portion sizes and it isn’t expensive at all. This place can get really busy and crowded on weekends and during the touristy seasons, but it is honestly worth the wait, however long it may be.

After a flight clear across the country, what better way to say WAKEUP! than a 5478 calorie skillet of sausage, egg, green pepper, onion, sausage, bacon, sausage, potato, and sausage scramble. After the paramedics defibrillated my heart, all I could think was arrrrrrggghhhhummmmm… Oh yeah… I had the wheat bread for the healthy fiber.
