This is walking distance to my job so I go here a lot. Lately they have been questioning my coupon that prints out with the receipt for a $ 6 Footlong Classic Sub. BTW the coupon does not print on my receipt anymore. They have started skimping on the toppings now. I wanted Spinach and I got maybe 5 leaves. I then asked for a bit more and they added 2 more leaves. So I figured on that won’t fill me… I asked for lettuce and they skimped on that as well. I asked for the Chipotle Southwest sauce and it was one thin line straight across the sandwich not even reaching the ends. I asked for a little more and she added a dab to the end and that’s it. So then I wanted some olives and yet again I can count the olives(possibly 7?) I just don’t understand. This place used to hook it up but I don’t know what is going on. They are still the same workers from before too.

The service was very bad. We received the coupon from Subway, they are not accept the coupon in the beginning. One customer came. Then, they are«limited» accept the coupon. Their service is very bad during purchase.

Ordered a Footlong($ 5.5) and a 6-inch sub($ 4.85) this afternoon. Saw that there was a free 6-inch sub if I bought a $ 25 Subway card. So I bought one and supposed that my 6-inch sub was free. The staff charged me $ 9.xx at last and gave me the reason was he was only free the lower price of 6-inch sub. He explained that he separated my footlong to two six-inch subs from the price $ 5.5(a footlong) to $ 8(two 6-inch). Then he charged me $ 4.85 + $ 4 + tax. I didn’t know whether correct or not, but at least this was not my first time using this promotion and I never happened this in other Subway. Just a reminder for the future customer.

As good as a subway gets. I ordered a veggie patty and a tuna, both foot longs on wheat bread. There was only one guy, and Indian gentleman working behind the counter. We were starving and in a rush to order food and the guy was very pleasant. We were debating ordering cookies or not and ultimately decided against it to be good. The guy working there could tell we really wanted cookies so he threw them and in said don’t worry about it, free of charge. It made our night no joke. Such an awesome gesture goes so much a long way for customer service. We will definitely be eating at this subway more often. I wish more businesses now days had this customer satisfaction touch to it. I’d give anyone my business who is this cool and who has good food for a better price!

Watch your order as the ring it up. They added to my order and after I called them out they down played it and didn’t give me my money. Also the place was a little dirty and the staff was hard to understand.

I have eaten at this Subway since 2009. The staff has always been friendly, the food fresh, and the prices are good. At one time, Subway used to have a type of rewards card. I came in so much, the staff could make my sandwich without ever asking what I wanted. I like that. When the manager saw me and noticed that I came in regularly, they invited me to join that club. I never knew anything about it, so I was glad she did. I used the card for a while until the program was discontinued, but I appreciated that they recognized and that they appreciated my return business. On a side note, they always offered my son a free cookie when he was with me.

How do I describe this subway location? Hmm… I order a turkey chopped salad. And I had this before in other location… First, I had to tell the person on the other side of the counter that I didn’t want cheese 3x… the third time she grab a handful of it and was about to drop it in the bowl… made me had to tell her again.(Seriously, what happens if I have severed allergy against dairy… and you added a little cheese that I didn’t know of… you could have killed me!) Also, she keeps putting in stuff that I said I don’t want…, she put a big handful of pickles, which she had to pick them out… Second, she over chopped my salad… to the point it looks like a bird had chewed up for their babies. I told her that’s fine, no need to keep chopping, and looked at me and said«Oh, just a little more, smaller better». WTH! And finally… after all the unhappy bad and fourth, she begin putting it on a container, using her gloves to scoop it into the tray… picking every little scrap off her gloves on the salad tray. Needless to say, it did not look appealing. So at the end… I walked out with a very chewed up salad, with bits of pickles in it.

Overall the sandwich was ok but definitely not what I except from Subway who prides themselves on very fresh and healthy food. For this review, I had a toasted BMT with all the fixins, extra cheese, & a soda. To start, the shop seemed overall clean but the person who helped me was rude — not mean per se but just seemd as if he did not want to be there. As for the food, it overall had a stale taste to it(hence the 2 stars). The tomatoes were VERY old and stale — they had that almost broken down mushy very red look to them. The other produce was fair and the olives, peppers, meats, & cheese were all fine but then again, that part is pretty hard to mess up unless you are really trying to do so. The toasting job was extremely weak — nothing like you might get at Quiznos if one had to compare. Finally, the soda was flat. Typically, at Subway, I can get a large drink with a bit of ice and it will retain most of it’s fizz until I finish the whole thing — this one had nearly zero fizz 5m after filling. So overall, other Subways do a much better job and I will almost surely not try these folks again.

Like any Subway however a little dirty. The person that helped us was nice but a little hard to understand as he mumbled and I’m already hearing deficient so it didn’t help matters. Got a 6in meatball sub to share with my shopping buddy, chips and a drink for a reasonable price. If in the area, I’ll come back but next time I’ll bring my ear horn(mental pictures begin NOW)!

Service was terrible. People were rude. The place was also filthy. Nasty garbage and food scraps on every table and the floor. Go to the subway on Hopyard instead.

5 stars for a Subway, not comparing to some black tie restaurant mind you. Some Subways get stingy with the toppings. This place has a friendly guy that is always there and he makes the best sandwiches and recognizes you when you walk in. You tell him what you want on your sub and he puts it on. Of course if there is an extra charge he will charge you, What I mean is that at some other locations, you might ask for some spinach or even bell peppers and they say, oh, that sandwich does not come with that… and if you insist they give you a weird look. Their lettuce is always nice too, not wilted.

We’ve come here at times when those damn $ 5 Footlong commercials get stuck in our head. Totally worth it for $ 5. That being said, their sandwich availability varies from month-to-month. So, you could get all the sandwiches for cheap or just a select few. The staff is friendly and attentive. Hubby always customizes our sandwiches. And I do mean, Customize. Luckily the staff yields to his requests and we end up with non-standard sandwiches that take a trip to Flavortown. Five dolla make ya holla!

When i need to lose some weight and eat a little better… you’ll find me here. haha This location is in the plaza where the trader joes is. The service is never really great and at times they seem disorganized during rushes. There’s not a lot of seating at this location and at times had to eat to go because of that. Also, i’d like to see them come out to wipe down the tables and clean the dining area more often. It’s a subway. What else is there to say?

***Disgusting Service*** I was on my way home to Sac and wanted to drop by and get me a $ 5 sub. Ordered the grilled chicken and was served by the older Indian lady. First she warmed the grilled chicken in the microwave without a tray. Then she tried to put it my sandwich. I told her don’t give me that sandwich because I saw her warm my chicken without a tray. She said«That’s how we warm it. The microwave is always clean.» then her boss stopped her from incriminating his place even more with her statements and reheated a new chicken with a tray. The Indian lady took the old chicken out and put it back in the rest of the chicken bin so they can serve it to someone else. Disgusting! I told her I wanted a new bread in fear the old bread was contaminated by the dirty chicken. She took the old bread and put it back in same bread bins… WTF!!! Back to making my new sandwich. The boss is now making it. They go really skimpy on the veggies. A girl next to me complained that there was not enough lettuce on her sandwich and the boss said it will cost her another 50 cents. Really? More lettuce your gonna charge the girl? Bottom line, I will never go back to this subway ever. They cut corners and skimp the sandwiches.

I usually go to the Subway on Hopyard, but I had received some coupons valid only at this location, which I had never been to. I decided to give it a try. I wish I had never done that. The Indian lady at the counter is on a rationing mode. She skimps on everything and I felt like a refugee in line. By far, the worst sandwich I ever had at a Subway. Will never go back.

I don’t really go to Subway much but for a fantasy football draft party I ordered a 6-foot sandwich, half cold cut combo and half roast beef. If you read my review on NY Giant Pizza & Gyros, you would’ve realized that, yes, I had both a 28 inch pizza and a 6 foot Subway sandwich for the same party. Sweet! The person that helped me, Raj, was friendly and professional. We went over everything that would be going on the sandwich and he suggested no oil and vinegar because it would get soggy. He took down my phone number and it was ready the next day at the time we discussed. The only thing is that you have to assemble it now. They used to give it to you as a 6 foot sandwich on cardboard and saran wrapped several times for stiffness. Now it’s in two 3-foot boxes. Somehow a little bit of the allure is lost when the guests see me put it together as opposed to seeing me wrestle a sandwich as tall as a person through the door. I will be back the next time I need a giant sandwich for a party.

so it was years since i had been to subway so i thought i’d try this san ramon location. i always usually found the sandwiches to be just ok this would just add to my subway experience. so i ordered a large turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich as i was craving one all day. well first off i was told they no longer carry avocado or guacamole. sure i can understand this due to food costs but come on it’s a sandwich shop. sure you will keep the olives and other things i never get on a sandwich but oh well, just my luck. i ordered my sandwich with everything and i got it with everything not so fresh. when it comes to a sandwich i can still sometimes get a better sandwich at to go’s or quizno’s but i prefer a more gourmet place like genova deli, erik’s deli or a good bakery. sure i may pay a bit more but it’s all so worth it. that jared from subway will eat anything i guess for some of that subway dollar!
