Spark Dance Studio

We left Spark when they swapped out the costumes for the recital at the last minute, without option to decline and have the money reimbursed, and the new costume was completely inappropriate for a 4 year old. Most of it was fine but the tutu only went around the back and sides and in the crotch area there was a diamond shaped area of a different color. The previous costume was a sparkly leotard with a full tutu. It went from cute to skanky, and we couldn’t get our money back. We kept her home anyway.

Heard from the building owner the studio owed an enormous amount of back-​rent, and had to be evicted.
Then the Spark people spray painted all over the inside before they departed.
Nice to see small business keeping it classy. Not sure I’d want my kids around them.
Best of luck to them on their move. Pretty much every shopping mall owner in town knows about this lady now.

Spark Dance Studio, the owner, and all of the dance teachers, have been such a blessing to our daughter. She switched to Spark after ten years at another studio, five of which were spent dancing competitively.
In the year that she has been at Spark, my daughter has grown tremendously as a dancer and a person. All of the teachers are very supportive, extremely knowledgeable, and know how to bring out the best in each dancer. The teachers make corrections in a supportive way. I just can’t believe how much my daughter has improved in a year!
In addition, my daughter has been given (as are all the dancers) many opportunities to take lessons from other world-​class dance teachers as well. The dancers even got to dance during half-​time at a Raiders game.
Not only is my daughter taking classes there, but so is my son. He takes an all-​boy hip hop class and loves it!
Spark classes are also very reasonably priced, which is always nice! The studio is super clean, spacious, and friendly. The owner, Tamara, is very easy to talk with, and responds quickly to any questions, concerns, or compliments!

We enrolled at Spark when the studio first opened two years ago and could not be happier with our dance experience. Tamara cares deeply about each and every dancer, and has maintained that level of care even as enrollment has grown significantly. The studio is bright, clean and inviting with lots of rehearsal rooms and practice space.
We have two children enrolled at Spark. One who is serious about dance and another who frankly just loves the feeling of the studio and wants to spend time there. Our serious dancer has received solid training from Tamara, her two regular teachers, Tiphanie and Mandy, and from frequent guest master teacher, the amazing Duncan Cooper. Our fun loving dancer looks forward to tap class with Tamara each week and comes home with a huge smile on her face.
I highly recommend Spark for any age or experience level of dancer.

Our family had the pleasure of being involved with Spark dance studio their first year of bussiness; they just had their first recitle last week. I enrolled my daughter there last August. The studio is amazing; clean, beautiful, professional, inviting. The director Tamara is such a sweetheart and is personally invested in all of the students there. Her up beat attitude and demeanor made the newsletters and emails enjoyable to read each time they arrived in my inbox. My daughter loved having her as an instructor. I don’t think we could have had a better experience.
