I’m glad I asked if I could take my dog along on a paddle boat ride because dogs are welcome to! This meant that I did not have to leave my baby at home all by herself, nor did I have to opt out of getting on a paddle boat (which is what we went to do). My dog had fun taking in the sights while my friends and I paddled away. Afterward, we hiked a bit in the park.
The owner welcomes well-​behaved dogs on the boats as long as they will not jump in the water. Be advised that the sun does hit you directly, though, so bring some water along for you and your dog :)
Pluses for this place: friendly staff, reasonable prices, dogs can ride on the paddle boats.
