Favorite place to get hats !! Got a few more to my collection! They always have great deals on hats here! Great customer service here too very friendly people !! If they don’t have your hat in stock they will order it online !! This is the only way to get fresh new hats. I like the online a lot seems to have better deals online then the stores which is weird. I would figure that they should have the same deals no matter how you want to purchase the products . they also have great hat cleaner and protective spray too.

Seriously? I tried to return an item that was purchased with an Amex giftcard. The manager wouldn’t give me a return credit to the card or cash. He would only give me a LIDS giftcard. I don’t want another hat. I want my money. Called customer service # and was told I would receive a call back in 5 days. Called after 6 days and filed another request. It is now 21 days later and still have not received a call. Will NEVER shop at LIDS again.

In my experience, lots of the mall hat stores(couch, couch Sunvalley) have some kid out of school who doesnt want to be there, doesnt want to help, would rather be texting than help you, etc, etc …not at this Lids Employees are always friendly. Great A’s /Giants fans, help you find what you are looking. Let you take your time, no attitude. ALso great selection of local team hats. Cal, A’s, Giants, Niners, Raiders, even some St Marys… nice! Bottom line = great experience here. If you are looking for a no-hassle, no wanna be gangsta-attitude place to just grab a nice hat(sadly, this is hard to find), come to this Lids. –Peace out

On Saturday night, Lea B. was all«Oh snap, I think there’s an A’s game tomorrow.» And I’m all, «F*ck yeah! Let’s go!» Now, the sad(but sort convenient as well) thing about A’s games is that we can just show up the day of the game and get hella cheap seats. However, I was lacking my beloved green and gold A’s hat. I foolishly left it in Boston. Lea had her pink Red Sox hat I bought for her six months ago… and I wasn’t about to wear that because, Jesus, I didn’t run away from Boston just to wear a Red Sox hat.(And only Lea looks good in pink.) And then her mom kinda offered me her Yankees hat. But I would have to lose a very humbling bet if I were to wear a Yankees hat in public. I HATETHEYANKEES! So, after whining that I JUSTCANNOT go to an A’s game without an A’s hat, Lea, being the accommodating friend/host that she is, stopped at Lids on the way to the game. It’s so nice to have a massive selection of A’s hats to choose from! And even in my size! It was my shortest and most efficient trip to the mall ever! As much as I made fun of myself for looking way too ghetto in my new black A’s hat and my white wife beater, it felt oddly appropriate for my East Bay homecoming. I’m sure the guy behind the counter got a kick out of me making fun of all the Boston and Yankees hats.(Yeah, they have a lot of those too). And, well, duh, they have a lot of Giants hats too.
