Unfortunate the way this place has gone down hill. I got there at 4:05 on 6÷7÷16. Walked into the bar, past the unmanned host area and sat at the bar. The manager was behind the bar with two girls and another(the hostess I assume) was on the customer side. I left at 4:25 without being greeted or acknowledged by the four employees who were very busy laughing and enjoying each others company. I can handle mediocre food but shitty service is another thing. Crossed the parking lot to Eddie Papa’s, had my order taken and a cocktail in hand in less the 5 minutes. Good luck Chili’s. After 5 years of patronage I am done.

To go queso container seems to be decreasing in size by the year! Over a gallon size bag of chips complemented with a 5 oz. queso dip…(no one is touching the salsa it comes with).

I would like to invite a California food inspector to this location. Absolutely disgusting. My family and I went there for dinner 4⁄30 around 7:30pm. Everything was simply unsanitary. In our water cups there was tissue paper pieces. My wife’s chicken tortilla soup had a French fry in it. And my sisters salad had a hair. Lastly, I asked for military discount off of a 47.00 meal and received 1.40 off?! Why even give a discount?! I will never come to this location again. I hope a food inspector comes and checks this place out!

Always liked Chili’s previously — this time around — so not good– how do you mess up draft beer??? — tasted like soda — chicken in the fajitas not cooked — kids macaroni sub –par. The 2 stars are for our waitress who replaced our drinks & was really very attentive although it was busy. But if you are looking for food — try Eddie Papas nearby — not going back to this Chilis again.

We came here on Tuesday night, surprisingly they were very busy. We were seated right away by a very pleasant lady. Our server was AJ. Has was super nice and very helpful. He came back 5 times to check on us if we needed anything. We gave hime 5 stars. The steak was very good for the price, tender and went well with the asparagus. The chicken fajita was not good at all. Since I was so craving of that but, did not please my taste. The chicken was moist but the onion and green bell pepper were over cooked so they were watery. There was not flavor of the grill of that so it felt like you boil them more than a real fajita. They should check out the Mango Mexican restaurant in pier 39, their fajita is the best. It is a reasonable price restaurant, if they put a little more art into their cooking, they would do well.

Server was terrible! Bartender was worse! Brunette bartender on Tuesday night is awful, literally forgot to put alcohol in our kamakazes and we still paid for them… Rude & bad. Unfortunate because I love chilis!

Very happy with the service. The workers are super nice and welcoming. My only problem was my salad, they missed majority of my toppings. Wish the cooks could put all the toppings on when I order it. Otherwise, it was yummy. Again, service was quick and easy. Food, not so happy about. Our service was AJ very nice and a great server. I would give him a 5 star rating !

Service is not the best. I think we waited for 20 minutes before someone came to take our order. And not too clean either. But the food is Chilis. As advertised. DOnt know if I will be going here again.

Been forever since I visited a commercial-based restaurant. Had a to-go and it had was a decent amount of serving for a cheap price. Food was ok, except that it was wayy to salty. Came here during lunch hour, but there weren’t many people here. It was a bit lonely atmosphere ~.~

Just throwing this out there, I do not eat at places like Chilis. The only reason why I found myself here was because I was in the middle of nowhere, on foot, and had a dead cell phone. The manager graciously went to the back to find me one at the promise of me dining here. I ordered the spicy shrimp tacos with corn tortillas. They were 0% spicy and the tortillas were oddly greasy and in the middle of fried and soft. Make a decision please! Choose a side! The staff was nice, the food did its job. My water was never refilled and the music is too loud. It’s a Chilis and it was everything I expected.

Went tonight and got their new boneless wings and queso, sooo yummy. The service here is consistently very good but tonight it was excellent. We had Grant and though it was a packed house he was very friendly, attentive and quick. He went out of his way to satisfy our requests and customize the meal which I really appreciated. My hubby had the charred sirloin steak and he loved it as well.

Food was ok. It could have been better. The Chilis in Paris TX does a better job so I am not impressed. Buffalo chicken salad was ok, but the chicken was kinda of funky tasting. The service was on the slow side but we sat in the bar so that one snout fault. The nachos were only soso.

Walking in to Chili’s my friend and I were greeted by the manager. I thought, how nice. I’ve heard how Chilies is improving with new and fresh items on the menu. Having the manager greet us gave a great impression. Well it went downhill from the moment we sat down. We ordered our appetizer and drinks. My ice tea was fine but my friend’s margarita was horrible so she sent it back. But finding our waiter to send it back was almost impossible. She ordered a glass of Chardonnay but was given Sauvignon Blanc. She just drank it because again, we couldn’t find our waiter. The place wasn’t busy at all so I don’t know where he hides! Our salads were delivered, but where is the appetizer?! All in all, the service was horrible and so was the food. Our waiter came to ask how our food was. We just got it so how would we know! Then he disappeared again. Stay away from Chilis! Save your money.

We went to Chili’s tonight in Pleasanton it was not very busy. We were seated fairly quick waitress came to our drink order within a minute… The she disappeared for 15 – 20 minutes we were sitting waiting to order our food and no one showed up. I looked up and seen a manager to a flagged my hands and got his attention. He apologized and had someone take our order. The food can out and it was cold — the staff didn’t have any pride in serving the general public. It reflected throughout the restaurant.

I travel for work and usually eat at chilli’s about 8⁄10 times a month. I m not sure how many chilli’s locations I have had dinner at buts its a lot. This has to be the worst one i have experienced. Slow service poor cooked food. The bartender Michelle seems like she is in another world. Not as clean as the other chillies. I will definitely not come back to this one.

June 4, 2015 Update Wow. What a difference. It was a late evening, and my daughter and I were starving. The drive thru line was way too long for In-N-Out, and we happened to be stopped at a red light near Chili’s in Pleasanton. We thought we had sworn this place off since our last visit over a year ago, but being the benevolent person I am, I decided to give it a go before the stomach juices in my empty gut threatened to eat through to the outside. What a difference a year makes… We were greeted by our eventual server McKenzie after we entered the restaurant, and were seated quickly. Drink orders taken as well, which were brought to the table promptly. Very pleasant server, great attitude, very cute, and friendly. My daughter and I exchanged quizzical looks, as if to say«Are we in the same place as before?». Food also came quickly, hot and looking very appetizing. Their new menu is quite nice. I had the combo that included a chicken and beef enchilada, cup of soup, with rice and beans. Delicious. Daughter had the chicken quesadilla which she termed ‘yummy’. McKenzie came back and checked to see if we needed more drinks as the bar was doing last call, as she didn’t want us to miss out. Her tip just got fatter. I asked her to send over the manager so I could tell him how impressed I was with the increase in quality of food and service. He was very apologetic for the previous bad experience, which I thought was nice. He thanked us for coming back and giving them another try. Hopefully this is more than just a quirk and is a better example of how things have changed there. For those who have had a bad experience in the past, I hope you’ll give Chili’s in Pleasanton another try; it appears they are back on the right path.

Chilis used to be one of our favorite places to fall back on if we couldn’t think of anything else to eat spur of the moment. But those days are long over. Seems like ever since this new Chilis menu, atmosphere and food changes it has gone straight down hill — particularly many bad experiences at this Pleasanton location(seems like the Livermore location hasn’t been quite as awful). Anyways, usually the only thing that seems hot is the chips and sometimes they screw that up as well. This last experience was the final straw for me and my wife. Once again — it’s not a good meal when the chips and salsa is the best thing about it. Started with those and then the«new» fried pickles — we’ve had some great fried pickles in SF and he’ll even frozen ones from stores tasted better than these at Chilis. Pathetic excuse for the breading, basically 90% pickle and even still the breading was different — which Chilis tries way to hard to be different it seems and it just doesn’t work. Wife got her meal next from the 2 for 20 — she decided to try the fajitas for the first time, which I warned her because they now put that nasty cheese or whatever sloppy sauce all over the meat — once again another addition they did NOT need to do in order to be «different». Besides the sauce, the carnitas were a joke lol. Now I realize this isn’t an authentic Mexican place so I didn’t expect to see carnitas like at Casa Mexico or somewhere like that but they were tasteless, almost colorless like gray looking, basically the trimmed fatty portions plopped on a sizzling grill and smothered in that spicy cheese sauce and cilantro … Umm no thank you! Not a fan of Chevys — but hands down their fajitas are worth double what you pay for Chilis fajitas. Chevys know how to do fajitas! Huge amounts of steak or chicken, tons of fillings on the side, warm home made tortillas and most importantly no sign of whatever that cheesy sauce??? They fill you up after one tortilla — where as Chilis always leaves you with mid-level mediocre attempt at food. Then to cap it all off, I got the rib plate — luke warm(like many others I’ve seen write reviews as well), but I was so hungry since the rest of the meal was torture that I had to eat it fast. I don’t like to bash food places so I give them numerous chances — this was the 3rd maybe 4th mediocre experience at this Chilis location in a row and this last time was the dagger.(So it wasn’t like this particular experience was out of nowhere or a shocker …) Go back to the«old» Chilis — your not fooling anyone.

A regrettable experience. We came here for a casual dining experience with the kids. We’ve been to other Chili’s locations before and know what to expect. After a short wait we were seated. After ordering it took over 20min to get our ribs and fajitas. Tables that came in after us got their food at the same time or sooner. Ribs came out lukewarm and the fajitas had no sizzle. I won’t even go into the the quality of the food. Our waitress, Erica, was amicable but made several errors. — forgot a side that was ordered — made an error keying in our order resulting in an overcharge — did not check on our drinks or anything else until after we were done eating When I pointed out the price error on the bill it took 2 visits to our table from the waitress and 2 more visits from the manager before the errors were corrected. Another 15 minutes wasted. The«sides» section on the menu is misleading or management’s interpretation of the pricing is incorrect. Ask before you order. The combined deficiencies in the kitchen, wait staff, and management result in an overall highly unsatisfactory meal. $ 63 for dinner wasted.

It’s Chili’s! So if you are looking for distinct or unique cuisine don’t come here. It’s fine food for what it is. They offer a decent selection of healthier items. When my hubby and I were dating and tight on money we’d split a burger and add to side salads, kept the bill under $ 15. We don’t go often now but my husband was hankering for some cheesy dip so we noshed on burgers. All in all if you want a boxed diner experience Chili’s is reliable. And the franchise seems I manage service well.
