My wife and I came in for date night!!! Great choice! Good food, fair price. I was stationed in Texas and enjoyed Texas BBQ, this is the real deal. A must try! Great staff too My wife a southern girl and lived in Texas also. She said it’s like grandpas cooking. A must for any BBQ critic.

This place was amazing! The staff was so nice and the food was delicious! It’s right off the 2700 North exit in Farr West. It’s nice to have a taste of Texas right here in Utah. I can’t wait to go back.

SOFRICKENGOOD! The guy working was very helpful for us first timers. Lots of great options but not too many where you can’t decide exactly what you want! Indoor and outdoor seating for those warm days! It looks like they also have a big fire pit!

So yummy! I had the pulled pork and ribs with the cheesy ranch potatoes and Mac and cheese. I thought the BBQ sauce was different than most around here but so good, I got mild. My husband and I thought it is kinda in an odd location but hopefully it will get business from the front runner and small businesses around the area. We hope they stay around because it’s a great place to get a quick bbq fix because they were super fast at getting our food and we only live 5 minutes away. Yay for another Bbq choice in the Ogden area! P. S. I liked the potatoes so much I tried to recreate at home. Mine weren’t near as good :)

We were traveling through and saw this place with good reviews. Glad we stopped and drove a couple of extra blocks for it. Delicious homestyle barbecue sandwiches and plates that outshine everything nearby, which are mostly chain fast food joints. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. We were looking for a quick bite for lunch. We tried the shredded brisket sandwich, burnt ends sandwich, double smashed ranch potatoes, and the mac and cheese. Everything was done just right. I got the spicy sauce on my brisket sandwich – good but not spicy to me – I like it hot. Will be back if I’m in the area.

It’s was my first time here and wanted to say I was very happy with the service and the food! I had the brisket and pulled pork meal with Coleslaw and twice smashed potatoes. The portions were really big. I like that it is family owned and operated, I met the owners who definitely showed our group what Southern Hospitality is all about. There was enough room for our big group to eat here, with their picnic style tables. They had seating inside and out.

True to its name it’s lost Texas barbecue in North Utah. Small Eat-in area for meat and three and such. Lunch portions are right size. Lots of sauce available — go with the spicier options. Pulled pork is darn good. Brisket is just right. Only downside is the overly clean and new strip mall cubicle — could use a layer of old greasy smoke to season the room a little.

First time here. Just grooving through to see family(in TEXAS). Stopped because of rave reviews and found something special but couldn’t give this 5 stars. 5 starts to me means nothing could possibly be better and every aspect of my visit was enjoyed. The food is really good, but not great. The brisket was dry but the sauce was good. My wife really enjoyed the sides as did I. The store was clean and the owner and staff were very kind and interactive. I love that this is a family owned and operated establishment, we need more of them. I think what disappointed me a bit was that the food was all kept in a cafeteria style warmer then served on Styrofoam with plastic silverware. Like a fast-food BBQ joint. I’d happily eat here again for lunch on the go.

Certainly much better than Texas Roadhouse. If you were in North Ogden now it’s certainly a better idea to come here then to get him to a franchise. Services very keen. And it is family owned. It has enough seating for about 40 here comfortably but if there is more than that they do have outdoor seating. It’s a very picnic via bit and I do think that it would work out for children and for young families.

Tried this on our last day living in Pleasant View. It is great BBQ! Owners are very friendly and helpful. Food is hot, fresh, and tasty. I had the chopped and sliced brisket. The chopped comes in sauce which is something I hadn’t seen before. Others in our party tried chicken and said it was really good as well. Try The Lost Texan and you won’t be sorry!

This place has some damned good bbq. My only issue was the portion sizes. I got a two meat plate for $ 10.99, plus an additional $ 2.00 for the brisket…$ 12.99 total. My buddy got one meat plate for $ 8.99, and had considerably more food on his plate than I did. They had cut my portions in half! If I’m spending extra money, I expect extra food. It’s a young company, and the food is good, so I’ll give them a pass for now. The brisket was tender, and the spicy bbq sauce is incredible… I just wish I’d have gotten more of it. I’m sure they’ll get it all figured out.

Great bbq I had the ribs and they had great bark and were juicy and tender. The Mac and cheese and the ranch potatoes were also great. My wife had chopped brisket and pulled pork both were excellent. I highly recommend this place.
