Last week I went in to order a pizza and the supervisor that was was working, I believe«Raquel» was her name took my order. She was extremely nice and personable. not too many people even care to make conversation these days but she took time out to do so. I will definitely be coming back!!!

Worst salad bar ever! In the salad bowl was nothing but spinach. The employees did not fill empty containers the entire time I was there. No utensil to get the croutons. Broccoli was barely cut up. They ran out of ranch and never refilled it. All together just very disappointing. The sad thing this is my favorite pizza place. The pizzas at the bar weren’t properly labeled. There were no cinnamon twist or garlic twist ever put out on the all you can eat bar. I watched a lady clean off her own table so her and her co worker could sit at a booth. The bathrooms were disgusting! Smelled like a dirty towel and a boys locker room. There was no toilet paper. The floor looked as if it had gray water in spots. I literally almost threw up when walking in. As I’m 9 months pregnant and have a very sensitive nose right now. My husband said the men’s bathroom was just as bad. On a side note I saw two employees in the kitchen with long hair and no hair net. Gross.

I made a Unilocal account because I go alot of restaurants regularly and I want people to know what lives up to my standards. This place is not it. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years so I have seen management and the crew change throughout that time. Some for the better some for the worst. This is definitely the worst. First thing. I usually come at night for dinner for my wife and I. I can tell you everyone there by name I get so much pizza but over the last few monthes I couldn’t almost recognize a single face. The new manager Mike who is never there no matter what night I come by. Seems to care less how the store or customers are treated. Finally when I asked to speak to him the crew tells me he works in the day only. No wonder I never catch him. It’s been awhile since I’ve come by during the day so I figure I’ll stop in for a lunch buffet. What a mistake I made. This is the second thing. Buffet is constantly empty and when I asked the crew about where the pizzas were they treated me like a criminal like I’m asking for for free food. I tried several different days to see if maybe it was just a bad day. Boy was I wrong. It’s like that everyday there. So I finally get a chance to talk to the manager. I had so many things on my mind. What happen to all the great crew who treated me like a customer? I would gladly follow them to a new restaurant What happen to the quality of the food? Prices here continually go up but the quality continues to go down So when I finally see him. All that went out the window with his response. I had to ask him if he was the manager Mike because he had no name tag on. His response almost threw me back. He look at me and said«who wants to know? «Shocked. I said I been coming here for years and I have never been treated like such garbage. I told him I knew all the managers here. Alicia, April, Freddy, jacklyn, the list goes on and on. This place used to be fantastic and I’m disappointed to see the service go down so badly. The prices are getting higher and higher but that’s ok when you are treated like family. I felt better I said my peace because his response was«sorry those people don’t work here now. I do and if you don’t like it. There’s the door.» I walked away in disgust and back to my table to finish what little lunch I had. Then I can over hear him in the kitchen talking to another employee about the old man that had the nerve to come up to him and talk to him like that and if he seen him outside of work he would regret it. At this point I knew this was no longer a placed that cared about its customers. Why even bother trying to talk to his boss when clearly they think he was a good idea. New manager new employees makes oak park round table just another terrible food chain that should be shut down. I miss the old crew that made me feel welcome. If he treats everyone like he treated me it shouldn’t be that long.

Everybody knows Round Table Pizza goes hand in hand with ranch dressing. I’ve been going to this place 20 years and enjoying hundreds of pizzas there but the other night I noticed The ranch was runny and asked the kid at the counter if the manager was making them water it down and he replied«no that’s our new ranch we make in house» I about fainted on the spot. It’s nasty runny gross tasting ranch. Until they bring back the old ranch my five stars will stay at two. Also the spend go has been broken for months and they owe me a pie!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my 3 year old daughter and gf to get pizza and watch Football. It took almost 1 hr to get my order on the table and ot was in a box to go. I guess they messed up. Pizza wasnt warm and cheese wasnt in a melted state anymore. We were hungry. Just bad service. Pizza would have been great if they didnt forget about me. For $ 60 i could have went somewhere classier and got better service. Fortunately, some nice older lady who does balloons and face painting was there. She entertained my daughter while we waited. She says she is there Tuesdays and Sundays. Be nice and tip her! 1 star for having an awesome balloon lady. 1 star for pizza. 0 for service.

Great place for lunch! The New manager Mike made my family and I feel welcome. I appreciate his kindness. You can tell he does a great job because he cares.

Ordered pizza delivery online, supposed to be delivered with an hour. After hour and 20 min we called to check on it. They were backed up and were told it would be delivered within 15 min since it was just coming out of the oven. We live just a few blocks away. After hour two, we called back again. They were answering the phone but stated that they were closed. It wasn’t even 9:00 at this time, but apparently had run out of food. They said they could remake the pizzas but would be another hour. Won’t order from here again for fear of starving my kids.

They got backed up after we ordered our pizza, and so the shift lead(Arron I think?) Noticed and offered to give us salad while we waited. Great service on his end.

I have been a fan of Round Table as far back as I can remember. The food is always really good, the restaurant itself always seems to be clean, and the staff friendly. BUT… the delivery service is really lousy. I have been somewhat forgiving in the past. They would be a little late on occasion, but now it’s just ridiculous. It’s been well over two hours since I ordered lunch, and according to the people on the phone the driver is just getting to my order. I suspect the pizza will be cold, and the driver expecting a tip… if it ever gets here.

There are a lot of good pizza places in our area. What separates the winners from the losers is the attention that is paid to customer service. This Round Table in Pleasant Hill does NOT know the definition of the word. The experience that Amy P. had is not acceptable under any circumstances, let alone what she was dealing with in her life. I will not return to this location again.

I’ve been coming to this RT since my sister and I were little kids. We used to play on the Simpsons arcade machine at the front of the place before they remodeled it years ago. When my sister died unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago, my co-workers helped out my family by bringing homemade dinner to my parents and family every night of the week. The night before the funeral they ordered a Large and X-Large pizza for delivery to my parent’s home, a mile away from this location. A special request to make heart-shaped pizza was included on the online order, and the pizzas were customized to end up with one meat and one veggie. I received a call around 5 pm from RT — I had nothing to do with the ordering, as I’d been with my family all day handling funeral prep. They let me know that they weren’t currently making the heart-shaped pizzas, and that pizza would arrive in about 40 minutes. However, it had been requested by the office that the pizzas be delivered at 6:40, so at 5:40 I was home wondering where the pizza was. I called RT back around 6 and asked what was going on — I was told that the person on the phone hadn’t looked at the entire order, so I’d been waiting around for nothing. Everyone was really happy when the doorbell rang at 6:40. My husband asked the driver if he’d already been tipped. He replied«well, sort of». We looked at the receipt. He received $ 5 to drive ONEMILE. It’s a yes or no question. Sort of? What? Do you need more money for a 2 pizza delivery or are you just trying to trick a grieving family? We THEN saw that it was $ 98(yes, NINETYEIGHTUSDOLLARS) for the 2 pizzas. I called the manager, insisting there must be some mistake. But I was told by the supervisor on duty that customized pizzas are pretty expensive. I asked if there was anything she could do — these weren’t very special pizzas. And their L/XL aren’t very big. NOPE. That was it. The girl in my office meant well by ordering something we’d like, but should have started with a veggie pizza and added toppings, rather than taking off and customizing, etc. Also, she thought she was getting heart-shaped pizza. Her heart was in the right place; and Round Table has no heart. They are just another greedy restaurant chain who lost someone as a customer who had so many fond memories after being a loyal fan for decades.

I usually go here for a quick pizza and salad. Sometimes they are really busy, especially during their all you can eat pizza nights, but it’s over all an okay Resturant. The salad bar is messy and you have to ask for them to refill items if you’re making a salad to go. The reason I’m giving it two stars is because one time I ordered two pizzas for pick up and it wasn’t ready in the time they told me it would take. I waited another 10 minutes and when they called me up I took my two boxes and went home. When I got home I opened them both up and realized that one box was completely empty. I had to drive back with the empty box and and wait another 10 minutes to get my pizza. I complained to the manager and she gave me a refund for my entire order. I will go back because they righted a wrong, but I’ll always make sure to check my pizza boxes before leaving.

My daughter’s review. No, we won’t sue: Although I am a huge fan of Round Table, I was disappointed with the delivery service. You see, in the special requests I asked them to draw a smiley face on the box. But did they? NOTHEYDIDNOT. Also, they forgot about my three garlic-Parmesan twists in the bag and we had to wait ANEXTRA5MINUTES for him to return. The food was delicious as always, but I will sue next time I order and I don’t get a smiley face on my box.

Let’s get one thing straight. this is great… for a chain pizza restaurant. You know what I mean. I ordered over the phone bc the website was down, no problems– over the phone was surprisingly just as easy to communicate(thank gosh) what I wanted. 1 medium original crust HALF white garlic sauce with chicken and mushrooms(mine) /HALF red sauce with pepperoni and pineapple(his). $ 22ish and 23 minutes later it was in my kitchen, being plated next to a mound of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing :) For the record, I think MY side(white sauce, chicken and mushroom) was the better side. Really, the whole thing was above average for what we were expecting. Great lazy dinner, good pizza. We will definitely be ordering from THIS location now. Second only to Pinky’s Pizza. Good job!

Will I return? Definitely– but not to eat. I’ll return if they ever choose to demolish this abomination, and I’ll even pay to light the fuse. Then I will salt the earth, hopefully ridding the world of the atrocity. Here is the timeline of events on 5÷17÷13: 7:25pm: Order a pizza and wings online for takeout(price: $ 23 after coupon). It says it will take 20 minutes. 7:45pm: Parking is difficult, but eventually find a spot. Wait in line to pay for my order. 8:00pm: After waiting in line for 15 minutes, I pay. My food is not ready, so I wait. 8:15pm: I see that hardly anyone else has their food. I ask around to see how long every has been waiting… outlook is not good. The line to order is out the door. I decide to get back in line, and plan to ask for a refund if I get to the cashier before my pizza is ready. 8:30pm: Nobody is clearing tables, so a customer starts to bus the tables. He even goes to the kitchen and they give him a big plastic tub to place dirty dishes. A customer! 8:45pm: I am still waiting in line. It barely moves. They only have one person working the register, and she is slow. When someone orders a beer, she has to go pour it. She will take an order, then go do other stuff for a few minutes, then come back. People at the back of the line are phoning in orders. I let others in line know how long ago I ordered, some people decide to leave(they are smart). 8:57pm: I finally make it to the front of the line. She says«Its coming right out!» and I tell her no thanks, I want my money back. I get my refund. Good thing I didn’t leave anything in the tip jar. There are several other customers also asking for refunds, unfortunately for them they didn’t have the foresight to get back in line. The cashier rudely tells them too bad, they have to get in line. I feel their pain. 9:00pm: Walked across the street to Slow Hand BBQ. Ordered a half rack of Baby Back ribs, ½ pound of tri-tip, and a medium German potato salad. Takes not even 10 minutes to get my food, and now I’m eating delicious bbq– which ended up costing the exact same as the shitty pizza at Round Table. 9:40pm: Get home, get on Unilocal and write this review. I would seriously eat at Amy’s Baking Company(google it if you’re unfamiliar) before coming back to this place again.

This has been my neighborhood Round Table for quite some time. I always get delivery. Now that I think about it I don’t think I have ever stepped foot inside of this location but I imagine it looks similar to other Round Tables. One of the reasons I haven’t been to the restaurant is the delivery service is awesome! The other reason is, I hate their parking lot, very tight and narrow. My typical ordering experience is as follows: Go to the computer wiggle the mouse to take computer our of sleep-mode type in round table in the search bar see there is an online deal for $ 5 off with a code click the link to round table check out the online specials click on the create your own pizza make my topping selection click checkout review my ordering details(ie: address and order) enter my payment(cash or credit accepted) click submit — estimated 40 minutes for delivery 30 minutes later… knock knock! and then the devouring begins. Round Table is my favorite pizza(try deep dish with the white sauce and pepperoni). The delivery drivers for this location are always nice and friendly. Before online ordering it was always quick and easy to order a pizza. The other day the online system was down so I had to call the store and it all went just as smoothly as my online ordering.

They have family night here every Tuesday, which I stumbled upon accidentally. I invited a bunch of young adult friends from my church to have«family night» there, which means we eat a lot of food and take over a few tables to play card games until they kick us out. We are very friendly and clean, don’t worry. :) «Family Night» at Round Table included balloons, a raffle drawing, and face painting, AND an all you can eat buffet?! Perfect for a bunch of Christian card players in their 20s. We gobbled down everything like it was the day before the famine. There were several cute families there, cute fireman(woo woo!) and also some homeless people. They let us stay until 10:30, half an hour after they closed, playing our card games and Catchphrase, and never once complained about us. They were friendly and let us have lots of cinnamon twists. We will definitely be back!
