I have seen plenty of doctor in the last several years and even have even seen two othe GI doctors. But today I saw Premjit chanal, a gastroenterolist right down the street from my home, and I was so I incredibly impressed by him. The office called me back 15 minutes ahead of my appointment when I’d just started with the paperwork, then five minutes into an actual case study with a nurses interaction, and surprisingly two minutes after that Dr. chahal just wamly walked into the room. At first he’s so well dressed and caring and might I say, attractive to boot. It made me a little nervous actually. But this guy is the real deal. He totally knows his stuff and it shows. He doesn’t get lost in a laptop typing while you talk to him. He doesn’t mess around with charting when patients are around. He serves patients, and that is very good it may seem a very week summation of what a doctor in general does, but dr Chahal SERVESHISPATIENTS, first and Foremost. He also gave me answers to GI questions I’ve had for years that have gone untreated, and created multiple other unnecessary bloating and pain and GI issues that little did I know this office treats this, I’d seen an ad or two for Xixifan which has advertisements on tv I’ve seen it a lot, finally a doctor that I didn’t even Have to ask for this new xifaxan to treat small intestine bacterial overgrown and IBS. I didn’t even have to wait a minute I the waiting room and I was there 15 minutes early. I didn’t have to wait in a little paper thin gown In a «little room» for another 15 after I was brought back and the doctor spent all of three minutes with me. This office is absolutely different and in a very good way, if you ever have issues with irritable bowel syndrome(Ibs) or bowel issues or partial bowel obstructions, plus a myriad of other GI problems run don’t walk to Dr Chahal I recommend him higher than any other doctor I have recommended possibly in my life, as the experience was so efficient and kind and helpful in the office, and then the doctor himself is just a healer, he could ensue what was wrong with me without my telling him a word first. :).

My husband has been seen by Dr. Chahal for the past year, and we have had nothing but great experiences with them. He definitely knows what he is doing, and makes you feel welcome and like you’re in good hands. There used to be an issue with his front office personnel(receptionist wasn’t the very friendly), but it looks like that has been taken care of because the last time we went in there was a new receptionist who was great. Would recommend him for sure.

I have had good experiences with Dr. Chahal. He is thorough, caring and professional. It is important to communicate with him and to voice your concerns and opinions. The office is acceptable but not very compassionate or caring. It is run more on rules and orderliness rather than flexibility and accommodation. I would recommend this GI Doctor.
