I called around trying to find a good deal on getting two sleeping bags cleaned. I spoke with Mary who said she would give me a deal for bringing in two and what a great deal it was. I got two cleaned for $ 30! Other places I had called wanted to charge me $ 20 each so that was a great deal. When I took the items in someone else was working and she was very nice. I’ll gladly take clothes the next time I go to PH Bargain Cleaners!

If you are looking for a professional business … This isn’t it! I came in to get a price quote for an alteration and the woman seemed friendly at first. But then she wouldn’t give me a price until I told her what my profession was. I don’t understand how that should be a factor. I wasn’t getting anywhere so I vaguely told her I work at a hospital. She finally gave me a quote and assumed I was a nurse (I’m not). When I corrected her and told her that I was a pharmacist she increased my quote. She then asked me how much I wanted to pay which is beyond me! I came in looking to find a good-​quality local business and ended up feeling offended.

I used to be a loyal customer but they lost my shirts twice and overcharged me substantially due to an error their daugter made. Instead of making good, the daughter insisted on arguing that she was right. No one ever taught her the customer is right!
End result, you keep the $ 14 and I take my $ 900 a year business to someone else!

Half of my wardrobe goes to the drycleaners, mainly because I don’t know how to iron. Things I look for in a dry cleaner: quick turnaround (1 – 2 days), good hours (open early and close late plus open Saturday), reasonably priced, and reliable (i.e., they don’t lose or damage my stuff). PH Bargain Cleaners meets all of my requirements. The two ladies who work there are very friendly and they always remember me when I go in there (probably because I am there once a week). I have gotten pants altered there too and they have turned out nicely.
Until I figure out how to iron properly or until I have live-​in help to do it for me like Alice on «The Brady Bunch», I will forever be reliant upon the kindness of my neighborhood dry cleaner.
